The hotel was better than expected, incredible really. The room was spacious, beautifully designed and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and loved the heated mirror and floors. The addition of the breakfast baskets was incredible! The detailing put into designing the rooms was awesome! One of our top stays across Scotland for sure. A big shoutout to the friendly staff, they were fantastic throughout our stay. We also ate at the pub downstairs both nights for dinner and it was fantastic food!

We only had one slight concern during our stay: the cleaner saw us leaving for the day and asked which room we were in. I let her know but said we didn’t need it tidied. We had also put a “do not disturb” sign on our door knob as instructed by check-in information if we didn’t want our room tidied. We came back that afternoon to find our room cleaned and our belongings moved around the room. It was nice but we are eco-friendly ourselves and didn’t need new towels etc. We also didn’t like that she went against directly telling her not to, and a sign on the door.

We loved our stay here. The Meadowpark sits just outside Stirling, but a 10 minute drive or bus has you in town making the property exceptionally good value. Beautifully appointed rooms with high ceilings, considered decor, big comfy beds, and the best showers. The pub/restaurant offers a variety of different meals and daily specials, all very tasty. There is a breakfast box provided the night before so you can breakfast at your leisure. And last but not least, the staff are delightful. Always a friendly smile and greeting. Highly recommended place to stay (halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh). P.s. take a larger room if you can.

Not a thing.

Fantastic property with awesome rooms. Really helpful staff were so accommodating and friendly. The bed might well be one of the most comfortable ever. Awesome fluffy and soft bedding. Superb. Wish I wasn't on a conference and could have had a lie in. The bathroom was luxurious and I loved the bed trays provided. All hotels should have them. The decor throughout was exceptional, as were the thoughtful room amenities. Hair straighteners, biscuits, tea, etc. Parking is easy and not a problem at all. It's a little way out of town if you don't have a car but taxis are plentiful.

There isn't really a breakfast. There is a little hamper but if you like a slap up breakfast then you will need to go into town. Mind you, it's not far or there is Uber Eats :).

The property was just as I imagined. A lovely room over a beautiful pub. The circular stairway leading to the room was dreamy and the candles, handrails and thistle wallpaper really set the stage for the excitement of entering the room. Everything was perfect. I could see Stirling Castle in the distance across the lovely fields. Just look at the pictures. It's all that and more. And a basket of goodies for breakfast with juice and coffee! I enjoyed the large bathtub and had a solid night's sleep.

It's not that I didn't like it, I just didn't realize how far the room was from Stirling Castle and that was my own poor planning. But a bus easily got me there from the historic center and back.

I leave lots of reviews. I’ve no words to express how spectacular this stay was for us, truly. First we paid only £83 for what must be a £400 suite due to Booking.com discount and upgrade on site. It was last minute, but we were catered to genuine kindness and smiles by all staff. Location super convenient, easy to find, generous parking. The staff (& owners?) go the extra mile in every.small.detail. The furnishings were fab- and I don’t often care about that, but Harris Tweed w/a funky eclectic twist- just super! And not a hint of dust or grime…VERY impressive! A wee Breakfast basket totally unexpected (“Belfast not included”)- and down to fine cheese & prosciutto, croissants & butter, juice, coffee, chocolates…. Fun colorful lights in the en suite, separate tub & shower, everything as you’d want it including a huge mirror that this 5’ tall woman could actually reach without standing in my toes (rare!) . Mattress & Linens were comfy, darkening curtains, view of Stirling castle, breakfast nook, enormous windows, great restaurant, interesting old architecture… I could go on! We’d go back for certain. THANK YOU! Don’t stop what you’re doing right, Meadowpark;)

Cream for coffee;) We live in Scotland and know it’s not typical, but it would be nice touch to have even a dry creamer packet (can’t believe I’m suggesting dry…)

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Facilities amazing and the little extra touches made it so unique. The couple of drinks in the fridge on arrival, array of tea and coffee, amazing shower and bathroom facilities. Even provided hairdryer and ghd straighteners as well as iron and ironing board. Room very comfortable and quite quirky. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was continental in your room but still delicious. Bar and restaurant very comfortable and food was delicious. Large selection of drinks available. Overall amazing stay and would definitely would recommend and stay again.

I liked the breakfast, especially that juice and fruit/berries was very generous and the overnight oats was also lovely. The chicken pie for dinner was fantastic! I also appreciated the coffe machine a lot, being a Swede and everything :-). I also loved that everthing was so clean and fresh and cosy, I felt really looked after. All members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing. Lovely that dogs were allowed in the bar. Everything went smoothly with the wifi, so I was able to work without problems. I really appreciated the location, close to the university and the hill with the Wallace monument, queit and peaceful, still easy to get to Stirling. I hope I come back one day!

We stayed one night in Stirling, traveling as a family with our two adult children, their spouses and our one grandchild. We had three rooms. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were given a breakfast box for the morning, which was filled with delicious treats. We ate dinner at the restaurant, which was also delicious and enjoyed the bar areas, both inside and outside after dinner. It was a thursday night and restaurant/bar was not too busy. Having restaurant/bar/rooms all in one location worked very well for us. It was great not having to go out for dinner after a long day of travel from Isle of Skye.

Nothing, we liked everything about our stay!

No breakfast as some other reviews have mentioned, but they went out of their way to provide yoghurt, bacon, cheese, croissants, with jam and butter, orange juice, and milk to us that we could easily stow in the room refrigerator and eat at the time we wished to eat. That was rather nice, as we wanted to eat quickly and be on our way. Other reviews mentioned that the food was left outside the door of the room, and they didn't know if had spoiled. The manager must read the reviews because we were given our breakfast food in baskets as they showed us to our rooms upon check-in. They also provided serving trays to eat the meal on and there was a small table in our room. The hotel and the rooms are updated, clean, and creatively decorated. The beds were comfortable, and bathroom which was large had a large tub, which was lovely after a long day of traveling. Our room was a suite for a couple, and a third person who had a sofa bed. There was some noise from the street--it must have been a nearby bar, but not noise from the hotel. It didn't bother us but may bother some people. Another person commented that the front desk is not attended after midnight until the morning. We were explained this upon check-in. We live in the US and have stayed at motels where every room has its own outside door, which does make a person feel vulnerable, so it didn't bother us at all. The hotel itself is locked during the night hours. Combined with locking your room door, you have two locks to protect you. Also, every person who worked there that we met was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing in particular--great place

Meadowpark was my favorite stay while in Scotland. The room was beautiful and had everything you needed. From heated towel rack to blow dryer and hair straightener. They even gave you a breakfast hamper every morning. Staff were so kind and friendly. We ate there one night and had their pizza’s and it was delicious. Sat on the patio with a few drinks to watch the sun set. Unilink bus stop is walking distance to take you to town. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. Everything was lovely.
