Decent quality: Good continental breakfast, close to bus stop and 20 minutes walk to the center, comfortable bed. Very friendly and helping staff.

We did not like: the bathroom - pretty small and not sufficiently clean, difficult to use and fix water temperature in the shower, poorly isolated with water spilling out; towels too small and pretty much used; not sure food smell even on 4th floor.

Room was lovely, breakfasts good. Great position to walk into Salzburg but also on the bus route. Very kindly helped us celebrate our anniversary with cake, fruit and rose petals. Thank you

The breakfast staff didn't give the same message to the customers. We were there 4 breakfasts before we realised as we finished our last one we could have ordered omelettes. The breakfast counter is not restocked quickly enough. We had to ask for fruit. I think the non coach parties should have been allowed in the quieter rooms. Staff also offered to get drinks for some customers but not us. Staff friendly to some, not everyone!

Arcotel location is amazing. Really close to city center on a very calm location. The room are spacious with a very good breakfast. The do the eggs as you choose and have good fresh gluten free bred.

The only room for improvement was the shower: Not enough water pressure; The water goes fro extra cold to extra hot on seconds, making the shower a challenge. 1/2 closed glass shower box does not protect from the water to make the entire bathroom wet after every shower. All easy to fix issues that I wd encourage Arcotel to fix.

Breakfast was very good and the staff in the dining area was exceptionally beter than the reception staff. Having breakfast on the beautiful green terrace with attentive staff was wonderful. Mr. Abbal Singh , Mr. Hischam and Ms. Kiran were very attentive staff. Room was spacious and very comfortable.

I missed a mini refrigerator in the room as i was working from my room some of these days. Reception staff could be more friendly.

It is a lot further from the old town than we thought It is 20min walk to the start of the old town which is 1.5klm long The reception staff were unhelpful rude and would not assist. The bar staff helped us with our query for some milk for a cup of tea and to help fix the air conditioner The air con for all rooms seems to be set to 21 or 22 degrees and was hot The blinds in our friends room were broken so it was very light early in morning and as it was a Sunday was told it couldn’t be fixed Reception did not tell us the restaurant is not open on a Sunday even though there was a ln in house menu in the room The lack of information on arrival was the main problem and the front desk pulled faces at us as we walked away after questions as to somewhere to eat

After a long day travelling it was such a pleasure to find a welcome note with fresh fruit and chilled water. The room is excellent and the balcony looked out to the mountains - what a way to start a lovely stay. We ate at the restaurant only once and found the food and service really good. Some unusual menu items like char which were great to try. The hotel is an easy walk along the river bank to the old town. Lots of lovely riverside walks in either direction.

We have nothing but positive things to say and would love to come back again.

It was amazing time in Arcotel Castellani! Rooms are modern and tastefully furnished. Hotel staff - friendly! Very clean))) The location is very suitable for tourists,10 min. by bus, or by train, but you can also walk there.

no refrigerator in the room I think that in 4-star hotel should not have a refrigerator (regardless of the price of the room)

A well maintained ‘Good times’ classic style hotel. Very clean and cosy. Located close to the Old Town but quiet for a good rest and sleep. On top, this would be a choice option for the ones who drive and want to keep their cars within their reach.

Although price reflects the services and facilities, bring the water with you, as you don’t have a mini bar in the room, nor a second 75cl water bottle included for the next day. Otherwise bottle water can have hefty price: 7 euros for a 75cl bottle?!.. 🥳🤓

Pretty rooms, great breakfast, 10 min walk from the centre.

The room was a bit too cold (19, 5°C when it was -10°C outside) and the thermostat did not want to change it. The pressure in the shower was really bad, no Q-tips or pads for makeup removal in the bathroom, no fridge and also the "smart" TV was not connected to internet, there was no possibility to access any streaming (Netflix and co), we could only watch Austrian TV channels.

Really nice hotel with a luxury feel. There were always front desk and service people around to help us with whatever was needed. Had a very nice grounds area, with a chapel, and outdoor seating. The breakfast bar was really nice-although I wish they would've reminded us it wasn't included with stay. The room was very comfortable, felt very private.

The only downside is the location, which is a bit of a walk from the town center, and definitely from the train station. Would stay here again, but next time we would rent a car.
