The location was excellent right next to Piotrkowska Ulica but off the main street. We knew that the breakfast was available in the restaurant downstairs but we made our own using the facilities in in the apartments. We enjoyed the overall theme and atmosphere and decor in the hotel and apartments. The added bonus was that we could watch movies in the underground cinema and have a drink in the Kino Bar

We didn’t know that there was no lift in the building but luckily the two older people in our group could stay in the apartment on the first floor and younger people stayed on higher floors and help with lugging bags up and down.

The smell of the bedsheets was just amazing, I thought there was an air freshener in the room but it was all the bedsheets. Lovely staff, great breakfast. Perfect location. Loved the old cinema theme. If you're staying for a bit longer the little kitten unit is perfect for self catering.

The bed may be too short for tall humans, don't know about the other rooms but the ones with the screen at the feet of the bed are definitely too short. Same problem with the toilet, if you're tall you'll feel like sitting on the floor.

The athmosphere of the whole place, with reference to different national and international movies. Every floor has a different interior design, inspired to different themes concerning the history of cinema. There is a cinema at the cantine floor, but I'm afraid the movies are in Polish (and anyway, being there fore business I would not have had the time to watch them)

Location is great. I have stayed at this hotel several times before. Wonderful movie-themed rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette. I like the high ceilings and windows you can open. Large TV with streaming services. Breakfast buffet is terrific! Staff is friendly and efficient. There are many restaurants just steps away, including one just across the courtyard.

Normally, it is quiet at night, conducive to good sleep. However, on the first night of my stay, Saturday night, downstairs, a large party with loud music was going on till 2 am. It really was impossible to sleep until they were done. At the same time, the hotel states there is a curfew from 10 pm till morning. Another problem, although I booked this hotel from 10/7, I was not able to check in until 10/8, because the car we were traveling in had mechanical problems and I could not reach the hotel that day. I believe I should not be charged for that night and also receive a deep discount for the night when the loud music prevented me from sleeping till small hours of the morning, contrary to stated hotel policy.

Very central location, just off Piotrkowska street. Walking distance to all the main attractions and Fabryczna train station. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast.

No elevator and a very odd room layout. May not be suitable for someone with limited mobility. The kitchenette was poorly equipped for a longer stay - no knife, cutting board, scissors, etc.

Lovely quirky hotel in an excellent location. We had a great kitchen which was ideal for having breakfast. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice.Delighted to get bottles of water whenever we asked for them. I would definitely stay there again.

Nothing to complain about really....we were on the 4th floor without a lift which was clearly stated on their site...bedroom side of the room was very low...would be totally unsuitable for a tall person.Also , it would have been nice to be able to open the windows wider, even though I realise it's a safety issue. Great hotel.

The facility design is superb! The atmosphere is just like in an old cinema, with projectors and other memorabilia displayed as decorations. Each room is named after a famous film, and there is a huge black-and-white photo of a scene from that film on the wall. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. And everything important is within walking distance.

Hardly anything. Stare Kino doesn't have an elevator, which could be a problem for some people, but I didn't really mind walking two storeys up or down.

Top location! Breakfast and staff are magnificent! Uniquie room design, comfortable size and many extra facilities, available in the rooms

1) WiFi in the room was very poor. At some point I was unaible to open the message, SmartTV was not working properly 2) In front of my window I had massive renovation/reconstruction works going on. Starting from 6.30-07.00 in the morning 3) Air Condition - there's non in the room. During hot summer days I really was missing one

Very nice place to stay, great location, nice staff, interior design is old movie themed and there is a small local cinema in the building and you get a complementary ticket for a screening (popcorn included:) )

Lack of air conditioning in the room, it was around 30 degrees outside, so air con would definitely be a good idea

Location was the best. Very good access to public transport and to the lovely pedestrian street and its attractions. Breakfast was delicious. Lodz is a lovely city to visit and the hotel is ideally placed to visit the nicer parts of it. Room was spacious but wireless signal was very poor (was on the 3rd floor).

Wireless connection was poor or non-existing in the bedroom, and bed was too soft.
