On the first night they had a very large group holding a loud party till late, all of whom showed up for breakfast at the same time, completely overwhelming the facility (long queues for food and coffee and all tables taken) and my colleagues and I had to have our breakfast in the reception area on a totally inadequate low table. If they are going to have large groups like that they should break them up into smaller groups with allocated times for breakfast to avoid the negative impact on other clients. The second and third mornings the breakfast area was back to normal and much more pleasant!

This historic 140-year-old tenement building might not make the pages of most Łódź travel guides alongside more famous names like the Hotel Grand, but Hotel Pietryna is an understated gem that delivers sexy, sassy, and sophisticated accommodation effortlessly. Beyond the aesthetics, the hospitality is equally impressive. We were treated to complimentary pastries and fresh espresso coffee throughout the day and found the staff exceptionally helpful. Special mention goes to Justyna at reception, who took the time to tailor suggestions to our interests which elevated our experience of the city.

A stylish & quiet boutique hotel in the heart of Lodz. The decor is calm (with lovely tones of sage/dusky pink/stone) punctuated with splashes of peacock blue. Lots of plants and quirky art. A lovely, calm oasis to return to for a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. Within 2-20 minutes' walking distance to many sights, and surrounded by shops and eateries. Everything exceeded my expectations and made my 3-night stay memorable.

I left in a rush and forgot to mention to the staff: the shower tray was extremely slippery for anyone with any mobility issues or who is not very young! This should be remedied to prevent an accident.

The breakfast was simply delicious with so much variety and lots of little Polish delicacies eg marinated mushrooms, sauerkraut, cottage cheese with chives and radish, mountain cheese etc etc as well as delicious cooked hot food, salads, fruit, cereals, selection of bread etc etc; our family room was gorgeous and the kids got their own key to a private children’s room and library (where we could also do some work and listen to vinyls on a record player!); great toiletries and complimentary toothpaste which went down very well on the first night when we realised we hadn’t packed our own; next door to a little supermarket; unlimited free tea and coffee for hotel guests in the dining area.

Location. 10 minutes walk from bus/train station. In the coolest street, but on the quiet side. A fabulous park two blocks away and another block away, Manufaktura, a very entertainment complex. Food stores around. Real queen bed, very comfortable. Opening windows is always a great treat. Great shower pressure and temperature. Very nice shower gel and hand soap. Elevator. Great decoration. I loved the bathroom green tile. Electronic indicator for cleaning the room or don't disturb. Very nice staff. Good internet. Safe deposit box.

Leaving

Beautifully decorated and appointed rooms. Absolutely love the pops of colour which brighten your stay. Spacious with very comfortable beds and lux feel. Balcony overlooking garden play area was a nice touch. Breakfast is a smorgasbord of options to cover most tastes. Receptionist and staff very friendly and helpful. Very central area with many choices for dinner at your doorstep.

Initial issue with power in room on arrival so we were moved to another room. Parking is expensive at hotel - so we paid for public parking on the street. Room was a touch expensive for the pocket.

You are middle of the Piotrkowska Street action. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Recently renovated old building that keeps its "soul" intact. Very good breakfast. Although the dining room is filled with families and kids, so it's hard to have a truly peaceful meal time.

If you need a really quiet room, ask for the one which is not facing the Piotrkowska street as noise can be heard until late hours. Also rooms sound insulation is not the best - you can hear other guests, the old floor squeaking and the music played from the speakers in the corridor. The floor in the bathroom was already broken (tiles can't stick to the bending wooden floor) and no heater inside make it not most pleasant experience.

If you want to visit the biggest promenade in Poland and even Europe - then this is the place! Located in the middle of the almost endless walking street, packed with stylish extravaganza. Really great breakfast - enjoyed the great selection of various sweet snacks which were not too sweet and that's a plus!

Nothing in particular - maybe the lightning in bathroom could be more warmer and intimate - cause otherwise the white light + purplish walls gave quite cold impression.

We had a fantastic stay here! The design is absolutely beautiful, and our room was not only spacious but also stylish and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel offers great value for money, the location on Piotrkowska street is perfect for exploring Łódź. They do charge an additional fee for pets, but they provide a dog bed and a bowl - this was very appreciated! If you’re looking for a well-designed, centrally located, and pet-friendly hotel in Łódź, Hotel Pietryna is the best choice!

Staff were amazing, welcoming, very polite and very helpful. Hotel is very high spec and comfortable, everything feels new. Free coffee and tea and pastries! Rooms very comfortable and quiet. And Hotel is very central on best street in Lodz. Dinner in hotel was very good quality. They also kindly stored my bicycle safely and securely (I'm cycling from London to Krakow).
