Aesthetics, comfort, location, breakfast, staff, space.

On the first night they had a very large group holding a loud party till late, all of whom showed up for breakfast at the same time, completely overwhelming the facility (long queues for food and coffee and all tables taken) and my colleagues and I had to have our breakfast in the reception area on a totally inadequate low table. If they are going to have large groups like that they should break them up into smaller groups with allocated times for breakfast to avoid the negative impact on other clients. The second and third mornings the breakfast area was back to normal and much more pleasant!

Location. 10 minutes walk from bus/train station. In the coolest street, but on the quiet side. A fabulous park two blocks away and another block away, Manufaktura, a very entertainment complex. Food stores around. Real queen bed, very comfortable. Opening windows is always a great treat. Great shower pressure and temperature. Very nice shower gel and hand soap. Elevator. Great decoration. I loved the bathroom green tile. Electronic indicator for cleaning the room or don't disturb. Very nice staff. Good internet. Safe deposit box.

Leaving

Beautifully decorated and appointed rooms. Absolutely love the pops of colour which brighten your stay. Spacious with very comfortable beds and lux feel. Balcony overlooking garden play area was a nice touch. Breakfast is a smorgasbord of options to cover most tastes. Receptionist and staff very friendly and helpful. Very central area with many choices for dinner at your doorstep.

Initial issue with power in room on arrival so we were moved to another room. Parking is expensive at hotel - so we paid for public parking on the street. Room was a touch expensive for the pocket.

You are middle of the Piotrkowska Street action. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Recently renovated old building that keeps its "soul" intact. Very good breakfast. Although the dining room is filled with families and kids, so it's hard to have a truly peaceful meal time.

If you need a really quiet room, ask for the one which is not facing the Piotrkowska street as noise can be heard until late hours. Also rooms sound insulation is not the best - you can hear other guests, the old floor squeaking and the music played from the speakers in the corridor. The floor in the bathroom was already broken (tiles can't stick to the bending wooden floor) and no heater inside make it not most pleasant experience.

We had a fantastic stay here! The design is absolutely beautiful, and our room was not only spacious but also stylish and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel offers great value for money, the location on Piotrkowska street is perfect for exploring Łódź. They do charge an additional fee for pets, but they provide a dog bed and a bowl - this was very appreciated! If you’re looking for a well-designed, centrally located, and pet-friendly hotel in Łódź, Hotel Pietryna is the best choice!

Staff were amazing, welcoming, very polite and very helpful. Hotel is very high spec and comfortable, everything feels new. Free coffee and tea and pastries! Rooms very comfortable and quiet. And Hotel is very central on best street in Lodz. Dinner in hotel was very good quality. They also kindly stored my bicycle safely and securely (I'm cycling from London to Krakow).

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of options to choose from—everything from fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes, to cereals and yogurts. It really catered to every taste and preference. The room was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough room to move around comfortably, and the bathroom was equally large, modern, and impeccably clean. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Great location. Overall, a truly enjoyable stay!

The room was big, with all necessary equipments, a very confortable bed and the best thing is that it's perfectly located in the center of Lodz but very calm at the same time, you can sleep and spend time in your room with no risk of being disturbed. On top of that the staff was lovely and very helpful, at reception for check in and check out and questions. The room and the hotel were also very clean. I also tried the restaurant which was very good both in terms of service and food.

There is nothing that was not good or could be improved, it was perfect on every aspect.

Great hotel with a lot of art with a touch of humor in it. The breakfast was fabulous with perfect fresh bread (it tasted like the super tasty sourdough bread from montagbistro?). Great to see old buildings being reused in such a great way. Love to come back again!

The renovation was visible done on a smaller budget, due to that the inner floors and inner walls are not isolated, so you could hear other neighbor guest during the stay. That should have been considered what is quite standard in this price segment of other hotels. But the prices are a bit lower, so that seems reasonable

The room was clean, spacious and modern. The location is in the city centrum, with access to all main attractions. I believe the breakfast is the highlight of the hotel, very variated and nice food. The personnel was helpful explaing us the arounds and always smiling. The hotel is quite big, we had a room with balcony and it was a big one.

Being in city centrum there was no parking available, but the hotel guided us to a free parking place further away. It would have been nice if available spots were closer. Our room had view behind the hotel and it was not so nice.
