The staff is exceptional, knowledgeable, polite, and professional. The historical building was beautifully restored, the hotel has a soul now.

To my liking, the mattress was a bit too firm, and the duvet was too thick, making it too warm. Again, this is personal preference, nothing against the hotel.

The building, architecture and design details were impressive. Sexy, cool hotel. Cool spa area. Great for romantic getaways. Great location. Restaurant service was excellent.

It’s not really suitable for alone, business travellers. It’s not a cozy and comfy hotel. It’s rather a posh fancy hotel. In fact not too expensive pricewise but the general vibe was a bit too cool for my taste. Examples: there is no sandwich or other practical food option in the room service menu. All you get is gourmet options. Bathroom heating was good but room heating not so much. Reception staff in the evening was too cool and not particularly welcoming. I would choose to go there again with my partner, it would be fun, but not on my own.

This is quite simply one the most magnificent hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. We stayed in the studio which was designed perfectly: a sophisticated mix of old and new (much like the city of łodz itself). Its elegant high ceilings, concrete walls, and smooth parquet wooden floors were an aesthetic delight. The room was incredibly spacious with a full-sized desk, ample storage space and utterly divine king-sized bed. The kitchen was fitted with all the best appliances and came fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the bathroom with its luxurious, designer bath and separate shower was sensational. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and service was always extremely efficient. If I could give this place six stars, I would!

The interior and facilities, especially the spa, were amazing and a great value for the money. It was very convenient as well, that we could have two pets with us and even though an additional charge, we got bowls and beds provided. The room made a big impression and it was quiet considering the view at Piotrkowska street. The view from the 4th floor is beautiful

After i decided not to proceed with the voluntary preauthorization for the mini bar and restaurant, and already after my check in, the cleaning personnel came in and close the bar with the key and wiped out everything to eat/drink that was laying on the shelf. It just seemed a bit rude to do it is such a abrupt way. Especially while i made my special request and wrote down that the occassion was my mum birthday. However, after i reported the incident at the reception. It fixed and little surpised prepared as suggested by the hotel itself before

A perfect hotel. The building is a modern restoration and upgrade of a 19th-century hotel, ideally placed on Piotrkowska Street. Spacious, sleek, and elegant without being flashy. I especially liked the generous use of different stone finishes. The best spa facilities I’ve ever seen. An exceptional wet bath and swimming pool, fully clad in marble. Staff were outstanding — helpful, engaged, and genuinely kind, without the scripted corporate chatter. We felt truly cared for. And there was even a decent vegan breakfast option. Uheard of.

This hotel is the possibly most aligned with my needs and my taste of all the hotels I stayed in. It is beautiful, purposeful, comfortable, luxurious in an 'old Europe' way, with a perfect balance between modern and upbeat and eternal. The materials, colors and textures are all fabulous. I usually do not enjoy the artifificial room fragrance but here it smells like lilies in a wonderfully fresh way. My bed was comfy, my room spacious and beautiful but my bathroom was PARADISE. It is so light all in white marble, big, clean and pleasant. I literally did not want to leave my room or the hotel. The spa is opulent, the restaurant magnificent and the cafe is very chic. The location is peefect and the staff members are very kind. It is a jem. I'll gp back, no doubt.

There is nothing I can contribute here. I did not love my relax massage, it was mediocre but everything else was outstanding.

This was our second visit to the Grand Hotel and it was just as special as our first. The food, the spa and the staff are what makes a stay here memorable. The quality of the food, and the accompanying service, was exemplary throughout our stay. You are made to feel special from the moment you arrive, with any requests being dealt with immediately. The spa is magical. If it's relaxation you want then look no further... Well done to all the staff of the Grand Hotel, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas! We will be sure to stay here the next time we are in Lodz.

We had a near perfect stay. A couple of small areas in our room could have benefitted from a more thorough cleaning but this didn't detract from our stay.

Really nice property. Breakfasts are very nice with good waiter service.

- The property is rather noisy. The bar/cafe plays loud music. The spa has very loud device in the pool area. - we got too warm blankets - on the last day there was a renovation made in the courtyard and it was loud (I’m ok with the renovation in principle but maybe not start it before 8). - restaurant lacks good (that is protein) vegan options. - Stove in the dry sauna is awkwardly located near the door.

I choose the hotel for my birthday celebration! It had an excellent atmosphere, very nice facilities, comfort, beautiful design, natural light, very spacious, excellent staff, staff always available and responsive! Long opening hours in SPA, free access. Sophisticated breakfast.

- The SPA area around the pool is very slippery, the water from marble needs more frequent wiping, we experienced a bad fall, the staff was prompt to offer to call an ambulance, which was very helpful, luckily we did not need to use it! I would have expected though that the staff would check on us later, or offer a symbolic service, or compensation for the endured shock, instead a personnel member was intensively knocking on the door few minutes before nine in the evening to hand in an envelope to evaluate the Hotel. It would have been enough to keep it discretely in front of the door or hand it to us during check out! However, disregarding these, it was a very nice stay, and I will be back again in the future!

One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Poland so far. The place has amazing atmosphere and attentive staff. Very calm & quiet. Breakfast experience exceeded our expectations. Spa area is super nice

It’s hard to pick anything negative about our stay. The only minor imperfection is that the massage rooms do not have showers attached - during my spa ritual I had to quit the room, go to a changing zone for a shower (to wash the scrub away) and then return to the massage room for the second part of my treatment. It didn’t feel smooth and was slightly disturbing. But not a huge problem indeed
