Andel's Hotel is an icon and pride of the city. The architecture of the building is truly unique and impressive. The facilities are great and the staff is very friendly. It’s a wonderful tribute to the industrial past of Łódź, while offering world-class hospitality.

Great location, cool building, polite, kind and helpful staff, nice art and design as interior. The fitness-rooms and swimming pool at the top floor provide a spectacular view over Lodz and the recently developed Manufaktura-site. The building and the surrounding is very interesting and tells a lot about the history of the city. Don't forget to visit the city-palace at the corner of the street!

The windows in the rooms are quite small. Unfortunately the roof terrace wasn't open while we stayed (because of the weather that was still cold). These are just minor details. After this stay we travelled further to another hotel, wished we stayed here longer.

Amazing breakfast, lovely pool, gym, and spa, and a superb bar downstairs. Suite was exceptionally good, spacious and clean. Views were great and the proximity to Manufaktura and Piotrkowska was excellent. Short taxi ride to the zoo as well ! Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the entire hotel - very welcoming and accommodating.

Variety of room service could be wider. The sofa bed was not very comfortable - kids complained that the springs/mechanism was sticking in their backs.

The design of the hotel and rooms is stunning. The rooftop pool and the sauna is such a lovely bonus too. It's a luxurious spot, wish we had tried the food! It's a big and super comfortable bed. Quiet and stylish.

Had to request bathrobes and when we asked for a larger size they were not very size-inclusive. They also felt quite rough, which was not the quality I had anticipated for the establishment. No slippers either. Seeing as it is a hotel with a pool and a spa, it feels like these should be provided on arrival, be of good quality and be available in all sizes. The bathroom design felt a bit dated and awkward with the toilet behind a glass door next to the shower. The room size was on the smaller end. The price for the breakfast felt steep so we ended up eating in town.

Super pleased. Room size was amazing. The whole building was lovely and artsy. Amazing shower. Comfy beds and pillows. The location is great, right in heart of the manufaktura. With lots of places to eat around and shopping. Breakfast was super good value for money. Easy parking and dog friendly, we even got little dog beds and bowls and a treat. Very good place and great value for money. It was warm and we could adjust heating to our needs.

The blankets were a bit small, considering the massive size of the bed (which was great) we had two single covers, which was not ok, but could be better.

Swimming pool - unbearable hot with weak ventilation. It was like sauna and pool in one.

Nicely designed, elegant hotel, with great facilities and helpful staff. Room was cozy and quiet, bathroom had a bath and a separate shower. I thought the large windows would be a problem for me as I like to sleep in a dark room, but the curtains blocked out most of the light. Pool and rooftop bar were both wonderful and had great panoramic city views. If you come by car there is ample free parking close by, either directly across the road or at the shopping centre behind the hotel. Breakfast was, I'm told by my daughter, excellent - nutritious and wide-ranging, but you need to have a large appetite to justify the price tag. If you're not big on breakfast (like me) you can simply buy a croissant or bread roll from the supermarket located literally just a few metres away, directly opposite the hotel.

The lighting in the bathroom was all ceiling lights and rather subdued. Could have done with some bright wall lighting. A strange aspect of the room design was that part of the adjoining wall of the bathroom/bedroom was perspex, so when you switched the bathroom light on, the bedroom also became illuminated, and this woke me up a couple of times. The most irritating thing in the hotel, by far, were the elevators. They just seemed to have a mind of their own. You needed to insert your hotel card to work them, but in spite of my following the instructions to the letter, the lift just went up and down, seemingly at random - and it did the same to everyone I spoke to. Moreover, during my stay, one lift was out of action completely.

The staff were professional and courteous, a step up from other hotels I have stayed in. The interior of the hotel is a design classic. A fusion of the city's industrial past and its modern vibrant personality. The duty manager (Tall dark-haired) at breakfast was one of the best I have seen. She took the time to recognise guests and her section was run like clockwork. Should be promoted or moved to a more high-profile position or location. The Skybar was quite enjoyable with the cocktails were properly prepared. Anyone can do showmanship but it takes a good mixologist to get the taste just right. The gym and swimming pool are modern and clean and are pleasant places to take a moment either from your day or a good pre-breakfast wakeup. Łódź can look a bit run down and this is understandable given its history. However, it is hotels and institutions like this which are making the city one of the most popular cities to visit.

At one point the elevators were not working so well.

room size, bathroom (spacious with bath tub and shower), beds, delicious varied breakfast, the possibility to go for a swim, exercise and use two excellent saunas

the rooms were too cold although I had the heating on full power all the time, the water in the swimming pool was also cold and could be fitted with more lights, a jacuzzi would be a great extra, I was also surprised that no member of staff supervised the pool area; just a suggestion: free coffee throught the day or at least a water dispenser on each floor would be great and add to the value for money

The hotel is even better that you think it would be :) Our room was the biggest one can ever imagine in a hotel (that was a junior suite). Everything was perfect - beginning with the design, atmosphere and up to the smalec for the breakfast) That is for those who want to try smth very Polish - that was quite a surprise as well) We travelled with a kid and they had everything you need for that - starting with a surprise bag upon check-in, up to kids wardrobes in pool and children play area in a lobby - our little one was happy! Well done, we'll be back once in Lodz :)

No such a thing? Just Some guys were having kinda party near our room late in the evening in a common seating area - they weren't really disturbing us, but still maybe that wasn't that approriate afterwall.
