Restaurant was extremely busy and staff were very rushed at times which meant the dining experience was not always particularly relaxing. Pool deck chairs were uncomfortable. The glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom offers little privacy. The lights come on automatically at night when going into the bathroom which then illuminates the whole bedroom.

This hotel was amazing. Thanks to Ilonka and her lovely staff. Really special.

Don't charge people to use the safe in the room. This is such a lovely place with the best breakfast and staff, to charge people 7 Euro to use the safe in the room is just an embarrassment to the establishment,

A wonderful hotel. 3 different pools, excellent food, and very friendly staff. It is by the ocean and has its own access to the beach. The hotel is pretty spacious.

Nice resort with a wonderful palm garden, extremely attentive personal, fantastic and varied buffet and guests from many different countries. Nice mix of different ages groups with many 3 generation families. Spacious and with corners for everyone, one pool large enough for swimming lanes.

Parking close to the hotel is a disaster- the hotel's own parking is tiny and always full, the public parking in front is also very busy- but there is a covered public parking space at 10 min walking distance with a weekly parking ticket for 30 EUR. It would have been nice had there been activities for teenagers as well, not just small children.

Great location and very clean hotel. It was great that there were many pools so it never felt crowded. Only time it felt crowded was in the morning during breakfast fast. Also the lobby was very nice and there were many seating areas. Also the park was absolutely beautiful and well taken care or. Staff were very friendly and tre hotel was very clean and well kept.

We did not try the restaurants at the hotel as you had to take the whole menu, it would have been great to have one restaurant where one could have ordered just one meal. Also, there should have been free water at the rooms. The bed was comfortable but the pillow and there should have been a proper duvet instead of a sheet and blanket.

The location was great, with beach access and very close to the Dunes. There is a bus station across the street which is great for exploring the island by public transport (which is very easy). The gardens, pools, and overall facilities were very well maintained and clean. The breakfast was quite good and with a lot of good options covering different dietary preferences. We got an upgrade to a room with private pool access, which was a nice gesture by the hotel, and that really made our stay outstanding. The entire resort is quite unique and has huge potential, compared to some in the surrounding area.

At times, the whole stay didn't feel like a 5-star experience. The staff are very nice and polite, hard working, but they speak little English. The auxiliary buildings, which offer the same type of standard room at the same price, give a very different vibe and experience compared to the main building. They don't seem to be maintained at the same level and appear more worn out. We requested to be changed from that building into the main building, and that was much better. The evening entertainment program almost never felt lively or dynamic enough for a young couple to want to stay in (we did one night and liked the music, however, sitting at a bright-lit bar really didn't cut it). I personally would have loved some quiet, undisturbing background music around the pools.

Perfect location at the beach (for long walks all the way to Playa del Ingles), spacious garden which was very good taken care off by the gardeners, nice room with a view of the light house. Friendly staff, large variety of food at breakfast and dinner buffet. Great entertainment including the Riu Neon and White Party at sister hotel.

A bit waiting time upon arrival before room was available even though I indicated in internet check in that we would arrive at 14 h. And still a riddle for me why a five star hotel charges extra (50 Euro) for the in-room safe, first time for me and the list of 4-5 star hotels I stayed in is not short.

Food was great and we didn’t get bored with the options throughout the week. I liked it that there were 3 pools - the people were spread out. Evening entertainment programs were very enjoyable with talented performers. We also liked it that there is a small spa - when the weather was a little chilly we enjoyed the steam bath and big jacuzzi. The kids playground has 2 swings for kids who can already sit on their own (no baby swing), a small slide and bouncy thingies for smaller kids and a lovely shallow splash pool.

The stay was great, but we did feel that families with smaller children are not the main target audience :)

Everything was exceptionally clean and comfy. Personal was always smiling and very friendly. From waiters to door keeper to the beach. Breakfast were always excelent and whole hotel looks great. Especially garden.

Ice machine right next to room was noisy. Especially when guests comes with more buckets to fill. Also room doors were not very soundproof so when people were coming back at night it was too loud. It would be nice if personal at recepcion would tell them to kept night quiet.

Superb attitude shared by all staff who were dedicated to giving a sophisticated and professional service, from front desk to pool staff, table service to room service, all involved made the hotel a fabulous welcoming and enjoyable place to relax. Thank you to all staff. Additionally, the interior decor and garden design was impeccable and well thought out. The spa was an added bonus, with complimentary access to steam room and jacuzzi for whole family to enjoy together. The meals were brilliant, and the consideration of the vegan diet was reliable and offered a varied choice.

I was disappointed in one thing- the lack of car parking. We had travelled the island for a couple of weeks before arriving and had a hire car with us. The hotel had over 400 rooms but I only counted 38 parking spaces. This is far from sufficient and really impacted our stay as once we had a space, we did not want to leave as the parking was such a nightmare. The hotel is next to the beach so the shared parking areas are rammed. I was told to try to park on the main road or in another car park 15 minutes walk away. This was also busy. This car park was expensive too and the hotel had no arrangement for a discount with them. Sadly the lack of parking is a major issue with the hotel, which is a great shame.
