Good instructions for entry. Clean. Self catering facilities good. Close to bus stop into Southampton City and beyond. Restaurants and small convenience store at end of the road. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Thank you to our host, Jack, for organising our transport to the cruise terminal.

Very hot weather and our small room retained the day’s heat throughout the night. A large fan would have been gratefully appreciated. Be mindful of steep stairs to upper bedrooms, if carrying heavy luggage, as no lift.

Clean room, easy check in and a parking space off room, one of three, which was very useful. The host answered all our questions and checking in instructions were easy to follow. The bed was a comfy memory foam type mattress. We were on the ground floor in Room One. The room was quiet and we slept well.

The hairdryer only had a two pin plug and nowhere to plug it in. There are no charging points near the bed. Cups and water etc. wasn't replenished the following day. Ceiling over toilet needs painting a little mould on it. Sensor in bathroom needs to cover the toilet area as well as shower area. If you sit on the toilet at night then light can go out. There is a step down so you need to be careful if it goes out.

This guest house was able to take us at such short notice as we where let down by original long standing booking as we where at that apartment trying to get in. The manager Jack was extremely friendly and helpful nothing was to much bother. The room was lovely and warm, bed nice and comfortable 😴 facilities everything you could require. Ideally positioned close to bus routes for easy access to all of southampton and surrounding areas. Definitely would stay again.

Everythings are fine, carefully set up, tidyly maintained, with good consideration for guests. Location is quite near the railway station and bus station. A cosy atmosphere is created by the decorations especially the communal kitchen / dining.

Location is convenient and in fact near a large shopping district yet it is slightly far from the citycentre / high street / main tourist area. All doors, though appearing very sound proof, maybe a bit tight and heavy for the elderly/ weak.

Cleanly decorated. Host/manager/owner was very friendly and welcoming. Text message and about to contact the host was very useful. Variety at breakfast of cereals, breads and toast, cooked breakfast. Two separate bathrooms were useful as the room I booked was a shared bathroom.

The room I had was a single room and the division between the next door room by the long window that both rooms share was not sound proofed and therefore when the others used the bathroom it could be heard very clearly. I did speak to the owner who at the time was unaware and helpful to say he would lol at this problem, so I was happy he will. Otherwise it was fairly peaceful

What a gem of a Guest House ! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the property has a very secure and safe environment..And thanks to Jack for helping me retrieve my laptop bag from outside the building, We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back 💯

We liked the house and surrounding neighborhoods - although not posh at all. We felt safe. Jack was amazing and went the extra mile to help us. Our breakfasts were good. Nice because there wasn't a breakfast place nearby. It was a great value and the bed gave us the best sleep we have had for a long time. The Pig and Whistle pub was about a 3 minute walk down the street. Great food! It was about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the bigger shopping malls but they were nice plus a modern cinema too. Many of the historic attractions were also within walking distance.

As advertised. Self check-in with regularly changed door codes. Property was very clean throughout. I stayed in an ensuite room, was small but is fine for a single professional or couple staying for a short duration. I found the bed to be very comfortable. Central location with the city centre in one direction and Shirley Road the other, so lots within walking distance.

WiFi in room was flaky at peak times. Cooked breakfast does not include sausages although no complaints with it otherwise.

The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee supply was ok. no view to speak of but that was no problem. Breakfast was a bit sparce but ok and freshly cooked. Jack the owner was very friendly and helpful. I f you're just looking for a base whilst your in Southampton it's ideal

I was over impressed with the shared bathroom, especially the shower. For some reason it's been put on a plinth so it's quite a step up to get in and also the shower control is directly in front of you and it's a bit of a job trying Not to accidentally turn it off.

After arriving at a horrific location and needing new accommodation immediately, Jack was outstanding, upgrading me to a larger en suite room free of charge, highly recommended

No complaints.
