1. Breakfast: (1) From morning 7:00 to 11:00. (2) Hot meals such as bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, bread, toast, egg tart (really nice!) (3) All kinds of cereals and granola are provided. (4) There are also lots of choices of cheese, ham, and fruits. (5) They also serve coffee and tea (English Breakfast tea and milk!) and juice if you like. (6) The breakfast place is pretty and nice. Love it. 2. Room: (1) The queen room is really spacious and clean. (2) The bed is super comfortable. (3) The shower room, toilet, and sink are all separate so I and my husband can do many things at one time. (4) There are enough tissues, towels and toilet paper, but no toothbrush or toothpaste is provided. (5) The lights are bright enough. (6) Soundproofing is really good: We lived close to the elevator but didn't hear any noise. (7) Two chairs in the room so both of us have places to sit. (8) There are coffee machine and a small fridge in the room. (9) The room service not only cleaned our room but also provided a glass bottle of drinking water every day. (10) Air conditioning is AMAZING! Comfortable and quiet. (This is super important during summer time!) 3. Reception: Staffs are all really nice, friendly and professional. Catalina did well in welcoming guests, she even gave us useful advice about finding good restaurants nearby. The reception also helped us send our postcards. Really sweet! 4. Location: The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Bolhao metro station, not too far from Chapel of Souls (walking distance).

1. The privacy of the shower room (you can see the person in the shower room from your bed) 2. Not too much space around the sink if you need space to place your makeup stuff. 3. The coffee machine is good, but it will be better if there is a kettle too. 4. Hot water is good, but sometimes not really stable (but overall is good! )

Excellent variety of provisions for cold breakfast in the buffet. Location was well placed between restaurants in the local square behind the hotel and the main attractions down to the riverside.

Buffet hot breakfast was limited and would have been adequate but for the quality of some items, fried bacon in particular. Our room was provided with a capsule coffee maker, something we had never used before. We would have preferred a kettle. The staff later told us this would have been provided if we had asked for it.

The staff were amazing. I had my leg injury just a day before arriving the hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. They provided all things to make my life easier. They helped us to carry our stuff up to the room and back to the car when we checked out. They were accompanying me to the car to ensure that I can cross the road safely.

Breakfast choice was really good and more than ample. Similarly choice for the main meals in the restaurants was limited, but the food quality was excellent. As a smaller hotel, it is reasonable to expect that most guests would eat out, where the local choice is plentiful. The hotel is well appointed and clean, the rooms well sound insulated and comfortable. Most of all though the staff were fantastic. Like all the locals we encountered, they were so friendly and helpful, with a special mention for barman/waiter Eduardo who was the font of knowledge for all things port related, happily providing tastings, explanations and descriptions - a real credit to the hotel and a good laugh

Instructions for the very modern room heating/air conditioning would have been helpful, but these things are always a holiday challenge. An electricity socket nearer a mirror would have helped, as would a few more drawers, but that is being very picky!!

The decor and cleanness were second to none, the best hotel we have ever stayed! Beds were super comfortable and we even had a balcony that overlooked the pool, the staff in the restaurant and at reception were so attentive and helpful.

It would have been good to have a small round mirror at the desk in the room and the black out blinds didn’t close all the way across, some light would seep in through the cracks which would prove annoying in the morning

This place is well decorated, comfortable and modern. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent! They had all the standard toiletries (soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner)

Our bathroom sink had a bit of a sewage smell coming up from it. We probably should have asked to switch rooms or have it looked at, but we just kept the plug closed when not in use, which kept the smell at bay.

Location was excellent. Within walking distance of all amenities and sightseeing spots . The hotel is a new property so in very good condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

What we didn't like was the layout of the bathroom which lacked a sense of privacy. There is no door to the bathroom and a glass door to actual toilet and shower. There is a latticed screen between bedroom and bathroom; again no privacy. The rooms are small but adequate but would benefit from a little bit more wardrobe space. Also extra surface space to lay things on.

Super friendly and helpful staff. I fell during a walk and injured my knee. They gave me ice from the kitchen for the swelling and had nice words. Everything is clean and compfy. I loved the infused water! Room was quiet, although street view!! Near enough to historical center, Metro and river side

I would love to have a kettle for hot water / tea. But coffee was also fine ( Nespresso Machine!)

The staff is extremely courteous, and always ready to help. The location is excellent, just a couple of blocks by foot from several touristic attractions. Breakfast was always fresh, with good options of breads, pastry, and fruits.

Although the rooms are very comfortable, they lack more shelves and the adequate space to keep bags open. Also, the lighting of the bathroom is too diffuse, which makes the ambiance seem a little dark.

For a downtown hotel, I actually think the size of the room was decent. Very helpful staff. Nice, clean room with a good bed and was completely soundproof and had good blackout curtains.. Very secure building - you need your key to use the elevator. Pretty close to the downtown core.

Seemed a little understaffed - everyone we interacted with were helpful but reception was always dealing with a lineup and the bar was slow even when empty. The most aggressive air conditioning I've ever experienced - we actually prefer things on the cool side but I had to raise the thermostat to 24 to stop shivering.
