Nice touches- welcome goodies including a s’mores kit(!), a Keurig in the room, real (non-disposable) cups/plates/silverware, microwave, fridge, small kitchen nook sink, and a permanent supplies/amenities hutch in the hallway for guests to help themselves to items they need. Comfy bed, a couch (w/a pull out) and coffee table, electric fireplace, 2 tvs. Kitschy and cool 1940’s nautical themed building with only 25 units. Cozy in the best way. The wooded and landscaped property is delightful; multiple seating vignettes with fire pits, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, corn hole, 9 hole croquet “golf” course, and it’s near the beach. A sweet little enclave. Soooo much more fun than a cookie-cutter hotel.

The ONLY thing: On the tv remote, the volume control was really hard to find (while blaring!) No kidding, it took 2 of us 10 minutes to find it. Started to think it had to be controlled via the on-screen menu. Nope. Hint: it’s hiding on the side of the remote. You’re welcome.

It's a very unique place that once you understand how it is set-up, you can really enjoy it to its fullest. We weren't as prepared first time, but will definitely look to stay again! Help yourself amenities fully stocked and free wash and dryer to boot. Excellent! Games room fun. Outdoor area fun with gas or wood pits. And the smores were an excellent gift!

We didn't know about the interesting arrangements until I got a text while driving saying we had already been checked in. The first 30 minutes of our arrival was confusing, but soon got it sorted. Since it's a "do it yourself" kind of place, it makes sense now. TV's didn't work well with sound or watching DVDS that were available - could barely hear and could not turn up more. One of the beds in the one room smelled like dog. Other two beds were great.

We stayed in Cabin 1. We liked the extra bedroom and the space. The staff was very helpful with getting us set up with open key to access the cabin.

We didn't know until we got there that there isn't a front desk. Luckily, there was an employee in an office. We had not received a link for open key. When she looked us up, she found the phone number had an extra digit. She was able to help us get set up. The cabins are very close to the freeway. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to stay in one of the other rooms that is farther from the road.

Anchor Inn was the perfect little overnight retreat for myself and a friend. Such a great location, amenities, and love the history here! The pizza was amazing, loved the multiple fire pits options, and the s’mores kit was such a great touch! Beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are so cute.

I have two very small complaints. The lights on the bedside tables in the back bedroom were not plugged in, and I could not access the cords as they were stuck in the bed frame. Second the kitchen facet was leaking and the dripping and it was a problem during sleep.

Super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated with lots of attention to detail. Tons of free amenities (including laundry room, extra towels, bathrobes, toothbrush, razors, welcome kit with water and candies, and so on and on....). Wonderful sitting area outside with fires and gardens, good parking. All this makes the price more than reasonable and a good value for money. It was a true surprise and exceeded our expectations

The bathroom is quite small and it could use some more lights (inside of shower or above sink), hence a 9 instead of a 10. Not a big deal though. Also I only stayed one night. It felt like a place you can spend several days.

the premisis were lovely and well maintained. The room was nice and spacious.

There was no front office. They want you to do everything online, including downloading an app for a bluetooth operated lock. We all had trouble with the App, it kept making us have to re-register to access. It was a big pain! Also, I booked online because of their website stating pet friendly, and never disclosing a $30 fee per pet, even after I did their online check-in claiming I was bringing pets. Once we arrived, we were informed they are changing the pet policy and the room I booked no longer allowed pets. I was forced to agree to allow them to charge pet fees to my credit card.

Loved the charm of this place. We had a cabin and had plenty of room for my three kids 3, 8, and 13 to have space to relax or play. It's a short walk to the beach (which is great for agate hunting at low tide). Kiddos all loved roasting smores. Beds were comfy, and everything was very clean. We typically stay in chain hotels with a pool for the kids. They missed having a pool a little, but they all enjoyed staying here and would be happy to return in the future.

I wouldn't say I disliked anything, but I was confused a little for check in and check out. I received a text when entering Lincoln City, which I didn't notice until after getting to the motel and trying to find the office, which had no staff in it. I wasn't sure how to check-out either, but I finally noticed it was on the app that was downloaded to unlock our room. Also, there is a piece of paper that explains how to check out as well, but we immediately covered it when we got there and I didn't see it until we were leaving. Oops. I didn't see a single staff member while we were there. I found it odd, but we also got by just fine without them, so there's that.

All the activities and amenities provided. The game room, fire pits, s’mores Kit, restaurant (pizza was AMAZING), and bocce ball course. The areas for play that were contained on the property was absolutely wonderful.

The shower/bathroom was very small and quite difficult to bathe our children in. The shower head wouldn’t adjust down since it would hit the ceiling - so we had to pick up our kids in order for them to have water to rinse off with.

The beds were nice and comfortable. I liked the fact my daughter had her own room. The room had a nice size refrigerator, microwave and a little kitchenette. The towels were fluffy. The complimentary smores you could toast a marshmallow by the fire. I noticed the hotel is pet friendly. My daughter really liked Frank the black cat. I liked the way you remodeled the place.

It would have been nice just to turn on the TV without the hassle of entering a password. I didn't have a problem with the shower - however as a plus size woman it's a little cramped and others might complain about that if they're on the large side.

The pizza at the Inn was absolutely delicious and we loved making s’mores by the fire after dark. Our room was very cozy and plenty of space and beds were so very comfortable. We loved being able to pick up extra blankets and ice easily from the amenities room next door. Check in was so very smooth and effortless, just used the instructions to unlock our door. I wish we would have stayed longer!
