When: Jun 2025 Booked this hotel for a night in Bergen, before we heads up to the fjords and also as a rest stop coming out of the airport. The Airport is not far from the hotel and that’s kind of the point when I chose the hotel but not too near to the city to avoid the masses. The hotel itself is located well into a residential area (I think), but not too far from the main highways. Nearest shopping center is about 10 mins away (for those seeking food, groceries or just need some items before head up to the fjord) Hotel – The facilities are great. I super like the lobby. It’s light-filled and have occasional games for those to play. Parking – The hotel have parking and put up a sign about you have to pay directly to the parking company via the app. The reception staffs knows nothing about those app or how it work. For those non-Europeans that’s not used to the concept, you’ll have to experiment it for yourself but it’s not difficult. Rooms – Not sure if it’s cultural but the rooms are oddly shaped in my view. We got 2 rooms at level 4 (had to change one room as it was not cleaned properly – but the staff handled it quickly and gives us another room). The room are dated, with little things failed to work. In my case lights not working, switches and so on. Not a big issue, but it’s a sign that hotel is not being looked after or their QA is rather slack. Bathroom- This hotel’s downfall….i had 2 rooms, in all shampoo or shower gel canister was empty. I had to call to reception. Again the staff was quickly get them for me, but not great when you are halfway through shower to find everything being empty – twice…………….. Again highlight the QA is wither sleeping or forgot to work. Breakfast – Excellent selection of bread, cereals, muesli, fruit, dairy and non-dairy, hot and cold food. In the USA, the Quality Hotel (Quality Inn and Suites) properties are mostly the cheap, not that great quality roadside motels. I was very surprised to see the complete opposite here in Norway. We needed a one night stay before an early flight and as this place is only a few minutes from the airport, it seemed like a great choice. The hotel is nice, looks modern, the staff was amazing. The room is very nice and comfortable, had a great sleep and a very good shower. The breakfast is pretty much the best I have had in a long time. So many options, and variety, even a selection of cakes. Would stay again any time! The only annoying thing is parking. You need to go on a website which says “Parking doesn’t get much easier than this.” and then it does not recognise your number plate. That part is absolute rubbish!

We had an outstanding stay at this hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations! The room was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. One of the highlights was the breakfast—delicious and offering a great variety of options. The hotel also offers fantastic amenities, including a well-equipped gym and indoor gaming facilities for some fun and relaxation. The lobby area was vibrant and a great place to unwind. For anyone traveling to Bergen with a car, I can't recommend this hotel enough. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. 10/10!

Clean, new, beautifully designed and decorated. Best breakfast I’ve had. Superb choice. Clean and efficient staff.

No tea or coffee making facilities in room .. but downstairs it was available so all ok. Needed better instructions as to how to walk to tram for easy access to city. Some maps of walks in the area would have been handy. Lovely book in the room with pics and details of Bergen but needed more info for immediate area.

This was the best decision for Bergen (and surrounding area) without a doubt. The hotel is just lovely, very modern, specious. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff just beyond friendly and helpful. We arrived by car and left it at their parking (7.5 eur per day) and used the tram to visit Bergen - best decision ever. It takes only 30 minutes (Sandslivegen tram stop, you can buy the 24hour ticket for 9eur at the stop so it is the best price performance if you ask me), you can stop at the Fantoft and take a short walk to the Fantoft Stave Church and then take the same tram to the City centre. I mean - Bergen is very manageable by foot so going into the centre with a car would be crazy (e.g. we paid 16 euros for 2 hour parking when we hiked to the top of the Urliken). The hotel offers a lot of space for reading, they have board games, etc. Good coffee available 24h/day. Just great. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

The bed was too soft and after three days my back started to hurt. But this is just a personal preference. I believe more people prefer soft beds to hard. It wasn't a deal breaker.

Enjoyed the spa/sauna area on arrival. They book time slots so that it doesn’t get too crowded. Restaurant was very busy with tour groups, so make sure you book even though reception staff told us we didn’t have to. Luckily they squeezed us in otherwise we would have been out in the rain on our motorbike again to get a meal. Underground parking was well appreciated for the above reason.

Hair dryer was missing in room, but was replaced by staff when notified. Not a big deal.

Spacious room with sitting area (couch and desk); fridge and ironing board/iron INSIDE the room! Most comfortable bed of all the places we stayed during our ~2 weeks’ travels. Spacious bathroom and great shower. Would welcome face/wash cloths for the shower but most of the hotels we stayed didn’t offer these either. We had read prior reviews and did pack our own -thankfully! So close to the airport (1.5 miles) and also close to many restaurants; huge mall too. Huge and good breakfast! Great place to stay in Bergen!

We liked everything about our stay here; only one night and convenient to airport next morning. One other thing that would be great (in addition to offering guests wash cloths) is to offer free parking. It was an additional ~$8 US.

Comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast buffet! Perhaps one of the best buffets I've had in a hotel.

A couple of minor things: a more comfortable desk chair would have been welcomed rather than that uncomfortable cube. Tea/coffee-making facilities in the room would have been a nice addition too.

The hotel was truly delightful. The staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating. The breakfast offered an impressive array of delectable options. The rooms were immaculate and well-appointed. The restaurant provided a charming ambiance and the haloumi salad was particularly exquisite. The proximity to the airport and the availability of ample parking greatly facilitated our stay.

I booked this hotel on very short notice from Sydney Australia for my parents who were stranded in Bergen due to a medical emergency whilst travelling. My father cannot commend the staff enough for the care and compassion extended to both my mother and him during their short unexpexted stay in Bergen and is forever greatful for how caring the staff were of their circumstances.
