Great location for the airport and easy to reach from the tram system. The room was welcoming and comfortable and very quiet. There's a paid for shuttle bus to the airport on the half hour but you need to go next door to the Marriot hotel to get it (I wasn't told that so missed one but the airport is barely five minutes drive away.)

The bedroom floor creaked every time you stepped on it - and you could hear it creaking from other rooms. That really needs sorting out as it was so irritating. No kettle in the room but staff will make you hot water on request.

This is such a lovely little hotel, close to the airport, within walking distance along a quiet neighbourhood walking and biking path. It is so close to the airport, yet it is super quiet. The family that operate it are very nice, always trying to find more ways to help you, they really go above and beyond. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is excellent and they offer it from 4am onward, which is perfect for even the earliest flight you might have from the airport.

I don't mind it, but it might be a problem for a few travellers with mobility issues and/or lots of luggage: there is no elevator. So be sure to ask for a ground floor room, if this is an issue. Everything else is fine.

There is no lift, if you have heavy luggage and an upstairs room. The room is quite small, so again - if travelling with lots of luggage it’s a bit tricky.

Good value for money. Very clean room with everything we needed. Comfortable beds, nice linen. Good shower with instant hot water. We didn’t have time for breakfast, but the dining room was welcoming and the coffee smelled great!

Everything was fine, but there was slight traffic noise from the road. It was an easy 15 minute walk from the airport, on a well-lit path, but this wouldn’t have been fun if it had been raining!

This is a very pleasant hotel within walking distance of the airport. It is close to public transport links and there are a variety of restaurants nearby. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. A very nicely presented breakfast is available from 4 am. Although it is situated at a busy intersection, the sound proofing means that noise is minimal.

The location is a 10 minute walk from Hamburg Airport! I had a late flight and staff were available at reception after 11pm. The hotel is basic - but perfect for a one night stay following a late flight or before an early flight (tip - for early flights from Hamburg Airport, be there 4 hours before your flight. The airport is a big chaotic mess in the mornings with mega long queues to get through security - even the "fast lane"!). The staff were very helpful in getting luggage to upper floors. Breakfast was excellent. Typical German/continental breakfast with many options of breads, meats, cereals, yoghurt, fruit etc.

There is no lift to the upper floors, so managing luggage can be difficult. However, while my room was only on the first floor, in reception, another guest had a room much higher. The staff offered to take her luggage to her room.

The room was too warm for my liking and although it was a nice room I thought it was a bit expensive… compared to other airport hotels in Hamburg however this is probably the best value you will find.

Breakfast was very good. Room was spotless and comfy. Breakfast was great and available from very early onwards. Ideal for early flights from the airport. Staff were very helpful. A shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the airport on a regular basis we used this which was included in the price. Location for the airport is perfect 15 minute walk or 5 minute bus shuttle.

We stayed on a very hot night 30 degrees C plus air conditioning or a fan would have been good but at this price air con is probably a big ask.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. Helped us with all our needs. It’s a little dated but the quaintness of the hotel makes up for it. Would definitely stay there again. Close enough to the airport if you wanted to walk or you can take a shuttle.

It's a fit for purpose hotel. Close to airport with early breakfast 4.00 am onwards and 5 Euros per room shuttle in conjunction with hotel next door. Decor is very dated but clean. No lifts, is a bit of a challenge with large luggage. Good German breakfast with fresh buns
