The location is very nice in terms of the landscape/nature/peace and quiet, though quite away from the Heidelberg city center (ca 30 min by public transportation). I guess the hotel guests are mostly people participating in the events nearby, like myself. The room was simple, clean and comfy enough for 3 nights stay. What I particularly liked was a big balcony and a comfy bed.

There was a broken light in the corridor just outside of my room, so when I was coming back at night it wasn't easy to put the key into the lock (I had to use my touch sense instead of vision), so I advice to repair it.

The hotel is located a bit farther from Heidelberg’s historic center, but this was easily manageable by public transport or car, and the quiet surroundings made up for the distance. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel as it had air conditioning which worked very well during a period of very hot weather. Having a balconey was wonderful. Being away from the centre of the city and next to a forest was very relaxing.

I found out after I arrived while reading the information provided on the QR code that a double room comes with a fridge, but a twin room does not. Had this been mentioned on their website I would have booked a double room as I stayed for five nights during a period of very hot weather. This was disappointing.

Overall, we had a great stay. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with a generous selection. The hotel has a lovely biergarten with a small play area, which was perfect for the kids to have some fun and release energy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. While the hotel is a bit far from the city center, it worked well for us since we were traveling by car. Communication with the hotel was smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hotel ISG Heidelberg. Everyone was so friendly at the hotel from the staff at Reception to the lady clearing breakfast. We were made to feel so welcome. We paid a little extra to park, but we were happy knowing that our car was safe and we had a guaranteed place. Breakfast was good, everything we needed and plenty of it. Evening meals were huge, a little too large for me, but very good. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Great ambiance, retro-vibe while comfort is on par with todays standards. Staff is super friendly and really making an effort. They made us feel welcome during our very short stay.

All was great. One point to mention is that there is a frequent bus (every 15 minutes?) on the road below the hotel. This is a bit annoying when sleeping with the windows open, but didn’t bother us too much.

I love the area. but it is very far from the city and it is good if you plan to stay for longer period of time. We stayed just for a night so we missed exploring the near by areas. For 2 to 3 nights stay, I would say it is amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly and everybody spoke English which is so important in hospitality industry. I would definitely stay again

Good breakfast but little expensive for a kid because my child hardly ate anything and for 15 euro something it was too much. He ate I guess 5 euro worth of breakfast but for adults it is fine.

This hidden gem is a great place to stay if you want to just relax.ithas parking that could fill up so get here early.. the rooms are very clean and nice with a good A/C . My room had a balcony and had a nice view . The restaurant for dinner serves very nice meals .

Nothing big only that by the time I got to breakfast the scrambled eggs were finished. I was told it would be refilled but wasn't by the time I left.

The location of the hotel is very good, the equipment is fantastic, you can take a walk. Our room was very clean. The hotel is not new, but in good condition. Each room has a large balcony, my balcony had a great view of the city. If you don't have a car, you can get there by bus, the bus stop is opposite the hotel

The sad thing is that there is no cash at the counter to give change. My friends and I were looking for small money to pay without change

Nice location not far from the Heidelberg center (10 minutes by car). Ideal for families, as it was very quiet and had private parking. Great breakfast and nice staff. Bonus was the Bauhaus-inspired decor!
