The breakfast buffet was amazing. We especially liked that there was Turkey sausage instead of pork sausage. I also really enjoyed the little walking path outside! Most of the staff were unusually friendly too.

The blanket for the pull out sofa was thin and pathetic. We like to sleep in a colder room but couldn’t because the bedding was insufficient, especially in winter with temps in the 20’s. You should supply an actual comforter like what is provided on the main bed. Also the pillows were very insubstantial. When we asked about a pillow for the pullout we were told to use one of the pillows on the king bed rather than providing one or two for the sofa bed. In addition, the scrambled eggs at breakfast seemed fake. They were an odd consistency and the color seemed not natural.

Many hotels state that they are dog friendly, but I truly felt that at this location! From a wonderful dog path around the property with doggie bags and trash receptacles to doggie treats offered in the lobby, I felt that not only was my beloved pet allowed, but that he was also welcomed.

My only room concern was an air conditioner that was leaking and causing the carpet around it to stay wet. Once the management was made aware of this as I was checking out, I am confident that it was repaired for the next guests. ( I didn't alert them my first night of our 2-night stay because we were so pleased with the room and its location, I didn't want to move to another room.)

Our room had a great view of the pool and lake. VERY clean. From the time I walked in the lobby, I was impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. Check in was a breeze. The Orion Amphitheater is 5 minutes from this hotel, so that was a plus since that was our reason for the trip. Also, Bridge Street is only a mile away that has plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose from. The room was adequate in size. The bed was comfortable. Smells tend to bother me and get my attention...but this entire facility smelled clean!!! From the lobby, elevator and hallway to the bedsheets and air quality in general, I was impressed! Some hotels can smell musty or just not fresh, but this place knocked it out of the park on cleanliness and freshness. If I ever find myself traveling to Huntsville again, this place will be my go-to for sure. The continental breakfast was good also. They had eggs, sausage, potatoes, make your own waffles, options for cereal, yogurt, bagels, juices, coffee. And checkout wasn't until Noon!!! 5 star review from me!

I did not like that I had to leave the lovely room and go back to work...but, that's just life.

Room was nice…very roomy, comfortable bed, clean. Staff was nice. Location is great. Easy access to the highway.

Don’t let them put you in a room on the first floor by the back access door. People come in and out that door at all hours. They also allow dogs and the room across the hall from me had a large dog that barked periodically when it was disturbed by the outside door. Breakfast was probably good but the staff let several things run out…fruit, bagels, pastries. I was in a hurry and wanted a banana. When I asked for one they immediately refilled the bananas for me. Again, nice staff!

Breakfast was good and hot. The cook was very pleasant and attentive to the stations in the breakfast area. Shower pressure and temp was perfect. We felt safe in the location and noise was not an issue.

The bathroom ceiling/shower appered to have mold/mildew in some spots. Pillows on the bed were not supportive for head/neck support.

Danielle was absolutely wonderful. Everything we needed they were willing to bring to the room and right away if we needed. Helpful with suggestions too

Sink drained very slowly and the elevators started going out. There was a dirty towel left in the bathroom when I first got there. Oh and some dude watching kids swim. I think he was staff. Creepy

My preference is always to stay where there is a complimentary breakfast because I love meeting and talking to the other guests about our travels and the location I am currently in, and of course having a breakfast that feels like home. It was wonderful. I just would like to see more choices that are diabetic-friendly and, other protein options such as turkey sausage and bacon. In regards to the hotel location. I believe It was Josh who recommended we take a room on the 4th floor and we were extremely happy with his suggestion. Many thanks to Josh for suggesting we take the room with a view of the water as my partner and I really needed the beautiful and relaxing view. She said she got the best night's sleep that she'd had in months.

Please make sure the grits are done.

I really liked the location. The hotel and our room were incredibly clean. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel.

Our air conditioner was a little loud and it was pretty easy to hear other guests above us (unfortunately moving around very late at night ) and outside of our room. Other than that, we really enjoyed the hotel.

No room service everyday. Traveling with children for more than a day, in one room makes it difficult to have a good stay and keep a clean and comfy room. We had been told soon arrival we could request room service and they would do the basics such as clean the bathroom and make the beds. We had requested it on our second day and the staff wasn’t so nice but said she’d make it happen. Nobody ever came:( my only other complaint was breakfast. Paying as much as we did and for breakfast to barley have any hot food the entire stay was a downer. But the overall experience was great! That was the only two complaints our whole trip.

Everything was close to where I needed to go. Staff was great. Also, the price to stay was great!

Breakfast could have had real sausage patties or links, not smoked sausage. Also, the omelets were cooked too long. For me, I would have liked scrambled eggs instead the Westen omelets. Other than that, it was good.
