Lovely room, modern and immaculate. Location is ideal on the main street of Pitlochry, but slightly removed from the busy centre. So much to see and do all within a local distance. Breakfast was excellent, and I have to commend the staff who work hard to provide an excellent service.

Not much to be honest. We had a fantastic stay.

The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel was busy but the staff worked well and breakfast was well organised with tables cleared promptly and hot food always kept well stocked. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Although the hotel was B&B only their recommendation for food, The Bridge Restaurant, was excellent. It appears to be another part of the family business. The hotel has ample off road parking and I noted several EV charging points if required. There is no lift/elevator but this fact is notified at the time of booking in case a ground floor room is required. The hotel is licensed with. a wide selection of drinks available and also has outdoor seating on a large patio. The hotel is located a short stroll from all the town's facilities.

I have no complaints. Perhaps a couple of biscuits with the tea/coffee making tray would be nice.

Staff was very accommodating. My wife is handicapped and although there is a step in the front door, they gave us the access code to the back door which was straight in (she's in a scooter). There are about 10 rooms on the first floor, no elevator required. The upper floors are reachable via stairs only. Breakfast was very nice and you can't beat the hotel location. It's a 3 minute walk to the edge of the small town and maybe 8 minutes to the center of town. The rooms have been recently redone and are quite nice. Other highlights: -Lots of parking. -lovely breakfast -small fridge in lobby, if you need to store anything. -nice outdoor sitting area with a view.

The location is excellent, with the property in great condition and well-maintained. Free parking is a big plus. Rooms are spacious, including the bathrooms, and the clean, comfortable beds ensured a good night’s rest. Breakfast deserves a special mention — I would rate it 5 stars. Being vegetarian, I especially enjoyed the crispy, layered hash browns. The coffee machine was another highlight, producing coffee that tasted better than many specialty cafés.

There were no trolleys available for baggage, so we had to carry our heavy bags all the way to the room, which happened to be the last one in the corridor. Also, there is no lift, so staying on the upper floors can be inconvenient if you’re carrying luggage.

We stayed at the Westlands for 2 nights at the Easter Break, in a family room as we took our 15 year old son. I have not been to Piltlochry for 20 years ,since I had my first child, so it was nice to see how much It has changed. The Westlands is located very close to all amenities. The room was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable enough. . There was even a water dispenser outside our room, which was very handy as it was a very warm weekend when we visited. Even though we stayed 2 nights, the room was even tidied while we were out for the day. Breakfast was very good too, choices to suit all needs. We would book the Westlands again for definite if to visit Pitlochry again. Highly recommended. A place to eat, we would recommend Victoria's, 5 mins walk from Westlands, staff really nice and friendly and food is really good too. Just to say, there are plenty of eating places to choose from.

Spacious rooms with big, comfortable beds and nicely appointed bathrooms. It was all spotlessly clean. Nice, good quality breakfast selection. Overall, comfortable and peaceful. It was a last minute, one night booking after visiting Pitlochry the previous day. We found the location to be excellent.

Just minor: There’s no aircon so the room got a little hot even with the window open (it was unusually warm for the region). The shower pressure was a bit weak. The shower unit itself seemed out of place compared to the high end fittings in the rest of the bathroom. Just an observation, not an issue.

You. Kindly upgraded us and the space was very much appreciated. Staff were faultless; very kind and nothing was too much for them. Room was clean and well appointed. Room facilities too. Very nice. Very grateful.

If I’m to call out something, I’d say the breakfast room is fairly soulless. I totally get the turnover of people and breakfasts, but it wasn’t a relaxing meal by any stretch and the porridge - which I love - was fairly cool, rather than piping hot. Small things really, but I don’t like being ‘down’ on the hotel, as it really was a lovely stay overnight :)

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The bathrooms were exceptional with all new facilities. The breakfast was good. It was self serve but with lots of options and cappuccinos! The location was beautiful with shops and places to eat within walking distance. Their suggestion of The Bridge Restaurant was absolutely delicious. The Hermitage is a beautiful place to hike and is only about 15 minutes from Pitlochry.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

Spacious and clean rooms, good breakfast options, plenty of parking spaces, walking distance to Pitlochry town, short drive to Blair Castle.

The breakfast room can get very busy, nothing much the hotel can change considering the number of guests - just be prepared for a less relaxing experience. I understand they have an ”affiliation” with the Bridge restaurant, but the way how the receptionist was trying to push that option was beyond acceptable in my opinion. Check around before making your dinner choice, especially if you are on a budget.

Bedroom was very roomy, lots of plug points, USB sockets, kettle and tea /coffee supplies, hairdryer and large TV on the wall. Huge shower cubicle with soap and shower gel, also a cute vanity kit. Bottle of water with glasses on a small table with two very comfy chairs. Very large super king size bed as well.

Buffet breakfast - had all the usual options, juice, toast, coffee, tea, and other coffee drink's from a machine, cereal, cold meats and yogurt. Hot selection was in the metal containers, which I found kept the food- i.e bacon , sausage, hash browns etc, lukewarm. This was the only issue I found during my stay.
