Everything was perfect: the hotel staff, breakfast, location and the room itself

Charging of one night cost as a safety deposit was not convenient. This problem is that the hotel does not use it as a part of the total payment and does not return it immediately after check out. They charge this amount of money a few days in prior to check in and then do not accept nor reject this transfer. So the deposit is locked for pretty long period of time and then is returned as an unclaimed funds according to your bank policy (in my case it is slightly longer than one month)

The cool and eclectic interpretation of Venice - beautiful interiors, lovely spacious room with comfortable bed, amazing bar with great service and very creative cocktails, good breakfast and lovely front house - especially Marco. Location is great if you want to be away from tourist hot spots and enjoy a more quieter and cooler Venice close to great galleries - bearing in mind we have visited in quiet December and everything was misty, we still enjoyed the location. I am sure in summer it would be stunning.

- i would say the restaurant staff was the opposite of welcoming and service was poor - slow and no smiles ( total opposite of front house and bar) - not sure bathtub is necessary in big rooms - shower would be much more comfortable

The hotel is perfectly located, away from the tourist crowds, but it's only 15 minutes from St Mark's Square. You can easily reach the hotel by water bus or water taxi. If you prefer to walk, it takes 20-30 minutes from the train station. There is a lovely garden in the courtyard of the hotel, which fortunately was overlooked from the bedroom of our room. The room was large, very clean and stylish. Also my compliments for the bathroom, really clean, comfortable and great cosmetics were provided.

The hotel staff never locked the door with a key after cleaning up. For me, entrance hall and dressing room is quiet dark, one reason is because you have to keep the curtains closed because the windows from the hallway face directly into the windows of the neighboring house, which is an arm's length away. Strangely, toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided, only mouthwash. When I booked the room I indicated that we were coming to celebrate our anniversary, but the staff did not respond in any way to this point. I think for that price, hotel can easily provide transfer.

The property is in a quieter area but easy to walk to Ponte dell Accademia. Beautiful boutique hotel with a beautiful garden. The restaurant was fantastic. Food was really good! The hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. The reception team went above and beyond in helping when my travel companion had to go to hospital.

Exceptional staff, especially Maddalena who booked our dinners and was the epitome of hospitality. Big, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, sparkling clean, fantastic bartender, lovely views.

My AC did not work well during a heat wave, so I had some uncomfortable nights. They were not able to fix it, and they also ran out of fans. They comped a night for the inconvenience, which I appreciated, but they need to get more fans/portable AC given how hot it gets in August. Check the weather before booking.

Beautiful location, quiet neighborhood within proximity of everything! Beautiful hotel design, the room was comfortable and smelled so nice! The staff was helpful and so friendly.

The breakfast food was sub par, stale bread buns, tiny avocado toast. Would’ve expected more compared to their elite dinner options.

The hotel was fantastic—our suite was truly exceptional, beautifully decorated with a playful and unique touch. The communal areas were equally charming, warm, and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive; they went out of their way to help, even providing me with a brush when I needed one. Their hospitality made the stay feel extra special.

This hotel was a delight, with spacious rooms and a wonderful view of the water. The staff was incredibly accommodating, helping us call restaurants to make reservations and recommending different ways to get around the city. Its right by a ferry stop, but we really just walked everywhere we wanted to go. We loved our adorable room, with delicious coffee from a real coffee maker and cozy robes. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. The building is gorgeous and the desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, though we speak next to no Italian. It was not particularly close to the Rialto or San Marco but we preferred it that way. There are a few excellent bacaros behind the hotel and so many beautiful canals to explore. Highly recommend.

Elegant design makes this place stand out in pictures — and even more so in real life. What is great is that this is not its only upside. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped; many of them face the inner court, which is a paradise of tranquility. The service is good, and the concierge is truly knowledgeable and well-connected to get you what Google can't.

The only area of improvement I can think of is the breakfast — the service is great, but the menu selection isn't.
