Our stay was very pleasant. + daily room service / clean towels etc. + amazing location with BART at a 5-min walking distance + lots and lots of nearby restaurants/bars + the staff was friendly + wi-fi was quite fast + they keep your luggage after check out

- Hot water was not working when we arrived but it got fixed after a few hours so... not a problem at all - The street can be a bit noisy during the night but we slept - The mattress was not the most comfortable but still acceptable

I was a little nervous about the hotel, but it turned out to be great. The room was large and was well equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It was clean and had nice windows to open for fresh air. Perfect for a quick stay. The area was very convenient with a small market near by for water, etc.

As expected, the street noise is pretty loud, but it was not a deal breaker. The bathroom had minimal supplies so I recommned bringing your own soap, etc. I would stay again for a quick trip. Anything more than a few nights I would book something nicer because the beds were not the best on my back.

The property is in great location, close to everything I needed / wanted to and see. It’s very reasonably priced and there were no surprise charges, everything is exactly as it says in the listing.

A tiny little mice did sneak into my room, but that’s not the hotel fault, I brushed it out in no time.

Excellent hotel! Location couldn't be better for the Bart Station to and from SFO Airport, to Oakland and Berkeley. Valencia Street for food, nightlife, entertainment and shopping. Walking distance to Mission Dolores Park, Castro Street and Market Street.

It was right in the center of everywhere I needed to be! Great location for a first-time SF traveler.

My room got pretty hot, and there wasn’t great access to cold water or AC

Excellent location just a bit off Market St - the neighborhood is quiet enough and the transport connections (Muni buses, Bart trains) are just around the corner

Walls in the room were not super clean. Room maintenance service worked for the first 2 nights but then it stopped.

Location was great, the area around has some great food and bars. The hotel was good and it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the toilet, shower in room was great

There is no lift so a few stairs to climb. Not an issue for us but just be aware

The guy on reception was so lovely (maybe he’s the owner?) and let me check in early and also leave my bags the next day when I checked out. Legend! I had just come off from 6 weeks on a boat and I was shattered so it was nice to crash. Location cool,and good for the money. Thank you

Super nice little hotel! Everything was as advertised, and the subway and bus lines were less than 5 minutes away. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby and a few budget options too.

The street was loud some nights.

Hotel was safe and clean, it's no frills, but that makes sense being cheap for the city.

Just know that if you have a car you will have to find a parking garage.
