I enjoyed the size of the room. It has a little seating area in front of the mattress. My kids were able to sit while eating instead of eating on the beds. We were on the 4th floor, we had a nice view of the city buildings. They also had a small desk area, so I was able to do some catching up on my homework while we were there. The bathroom was clean, and the mirror in there had great lighting. We got a small leak in our bathroom after the rainfall and they were on top of it. They were offered to move us room but we figured it would be easier to just stay since we were only stay one last night and it was a small one. I would definitely stay here again. They were great, and my kids enjoyed it. We were walking distance to a lot of shops, small playground areas, and restaurants.

Honestly, there wasn't anything that i didn't like. Even though they have a small parking lot, they did accommodate my husband when we arrived late one night and couldn't find a spot. Fortunately, he found one. They do provide a parking permit, although I'm not sure if it for street parking or for parking in there lot since I didn't ask. But regardless of that very minor inconvenience, I would still recommend this motel it was a great place. I loved it still a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property is in a great location in Hayes Valley! We were just around the corner from the main area with lots of restaurants and boutiques. There are also grocery stores nearby. The staff are extremely friendly and were incredibly helpful during our stay. Thank you to Biren and his family!

The room itself was small with basic amenities, but had everything we needed to live comfortably for the week. Sometimes our keys would stop working, but the staff were very accommodating and were always available to print us a new key.

Location of this Inn was great! We had a show at Bill Graham and it was walking distance, about 4 mins walk. We went to eat a meal in Hayes Valley (around the corner, around 3 mins) then went back to the Inn to get ready for the show. After the show, we simply walked back. We also got free parking at the Inn which was GREAT and service from the front desk was excellent! Clean rooms, hot water, free wifi, and everything you'd need for a night stay. Highly recommend this Inn especially if you're going to a show anywhere nearby.

The rooms were small but that's expected for the city and the area. The bathroom was a bit dated BUT their vanity mirror had a backlight that really helps if you're putting on makeup.

1. Parking is FREE and they have ample parking spaces. Room rates are very affordable. Parking cannot be reserved in advance, however, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re worried about safety, there were no visible signs of homelessness or drug use around the hotel. Luxury cars, such as Teslas and Lexus were kept safely in the courtyard overnight. 2. It’s located a couple of walkable blocks from City Hall and the Civic Center. That location makes it very accessible to mass transit whether buses or the old-fashioned trams that run all the way to Fisherman’s Wharf. 3. The hotel has recently been refurbished. This results in modern furnishings such as very, very comfortable beds with duvets and soft pillows. Bathrooms can be equipped with a jacuzzi or regular tub and tiles are clean and well-kept. For makeup users, the bathroom mirror is the very popular LED-lit one which, if you’re attending meetings, makes for a smooth application. 4. Last, but not least, are the reception assistants, Biren and Chirag (Chris.) Both were friendly, kind, accommodating and a fount of information about sightseeing and how to get there.

The Inn on Grove is in the middle of Hayes Valley, a great area in SF. It is close to shopping and some fantastic restaurants. It was easy to get an Uber or hop on the bus to get to other areas of the city. It is close to USF. The staff is very helpful and helped us with an early check-in. The beds are comfortable, and the room is clean. The Inn is on the older side, but it is kept up nicely. I would stay again!

This was my first time staying here and it exceeded expectations. The owners are exceptionally nice and the room was very comfortable. The price was also outstanding for 2 king beds. I love Hayes Valley and it was fun to be able to walk around the neighborhood to many fun bars and restaurants. Also there is free parking on a first come, first serve basis which was a huge plus. I will definitely stay again!

The gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and gave us a lot of helpful information and suggestions on activities both nearby and around SF. We arrived a little bit earlier than the check-in time and he was kind enough to ask the housekeeping staff to clean our room first so that we could check in a little sooner (we had no problem waiting for check-in time regardless, but we really appreciated it)! Super friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and great location.

Great location in Hayes Valley within walking distance of Alamo Square. Hotel was clean. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and snack opportunities within a few blocks. Kind and helpful staff who let us check-in when our travel was early and book an additional day last minute. Limited free parking that always had some open spots

Small as advertised. In-unit AC/heat was loud and blows on the bed.

Check in was quick and they were polite and friendly. Central to everything we wanted to do for a 1 night stay, so walking was easy. Parking was very limited for the number of rooms they have (Which is normal for the area), we parked on the street until we had an opportunity to get a parking space. The room itself was clean but seemed very minimal. The window AC unit worked fine. The shower had good water pressure.

The windows didn't open and the room had a faint cigarette smell.

Clean sheets and clean room (more blankets than in other motels we’ve been so no cold night). Location is nice in Hayes Valley. Parking was definitely a plus. The new manager is really helpful and will make your stay comfortable !

Can get a bit noisy sometimes (sound isolation is not great).
