Good location next to several restaurants and only a mile from the Gondala/downtown. Great value in terms of location vs. cost. Rooms were dated but were roomy and looked and smelled clean. The European shower rooms/spa baths were a nice touch. Staff was responsive and friendly. Coffee in the lobby in the mornings was good quality. Parking was included and easily accessible. Stayed here for a snowboarding trip to Heavenly and I feel this was a great option.

Building is a bit dated and no breakfast/food on site; however, the Red Hut was a good breakfast option and <5 minute walk.

The location was ideal and close to all the activities we were doing on our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the king suite with the fireplace. The jacuzzi in the room was the best but seemed like it could be a little more clean. Love the open shower and comfy bed / linen. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

The rooms can be pretty noisy probably due to the building being older. Unfortunately for us we had a VERY loud person staying above us and was weirdly up all hours of the night pacing and stomping, waking us up between 1-5 am. Very bizarre. You can hear the water from the jacuzzis being ran from the other rooms but wasn’t a big deal for us.

Loved the jacuzzi and double showerheads right there in the room! The price for these luxuries was an incredible value, considering other hotels in the area charged roughly the same for only the basics. Location was perfect -- directly across the street from the lake, close to restaurants and coffee. Ample parking on site (and free!), never had trouble getting a spot, even late at night. Comfortable bed. Staff were very nice!

The floor had an uneven lip across it (part of the room was a couple inches lower than the other), so at night I worried I'd trip if I had to get out of bed for something. There were lights along the lip, but they were too bright to have on while sleeping.

Everything was so great, the close parking to our room, the veryyyyy spacious room. Once we walked in, the first thing we saw was the jacuzzi&shower. Let me tell you, it was huge. It was nice to have our own private area to relax. The size of the bed was king & idk what kind of bed it was but I sunk in & didn't move. I was able to get the sleep I've been needing for days. 1000% would book again

The dining table was an little wobbly&the lighting system was a little confusing but we were able to figure everything out. The TV was at a weird angle but since it had the swivel mount, we were able to maneuver. Maybe a little more pillows for comfort.

The room met our expectations! My husband and I stayed during a blizzard and we were still content with our stay. They plowed the hotel parking lot and supplied shovels to help get our car out after the snow downpour. The room was spacious and for the days we decided to stay in we were able to connect a gaming system to the tv to play movies. This hotel is in a nice spot to walk to food as well as views. The shopping center is super close too. We aren't snowboarders and were hoping to explore the town. We felt we were able to do so well at this spot despite the snow. We plan to revisit Tahoe in the summer.

The provided coffee was not excellent but that is no dis on the quality of the stay. I agree with some others the paint could be retouched but that is to be expected at a hotel that a bunch of people stay at. It's not the newest spot to stay, but it was still very clean and confortable.

The size of the room, shower and spa. At check-in the staff was cordial but usually they’ll point out things that you might not be aware of like the wall switches to the spa tub, the WiFi password, bike rentals and general info. They did tell me about the morning coffee and they did check me in early. ALL of the staff were nice though and the stay was good.. they all spoke english and were helpful when asked. The spa/tub showers were fantastic and the indoor and outdoor common areas were a nice option, as well as the bike loans. The rooms and property were kept clean. The price on bookings was the best considering everything you get.

I notified the front desk upon check out of the bed in 117 needing to be replaced, one whole side is sunken in terribly! Luckily I managed being alone in it. The walls are so thin that when there were kids upstairs playing for hours, there was a lot of thumping and running, however; I did call the desk about 10:30 pm and they were aware and managed to tell them again to stop. ( Apparently, I wasn’t the only one affected)

Beds, spa, staff, linens, staff was informative. The beds were next level, we stay in Marriots with our family discounts and these are the types of linens and quality beds we have slept in at large luxury hotels.

Front desk staff didn't seem to be loving their role, but I also wouldn't say they gave any bad customer experience, but certainly was not exciting or very welcoming as someone in the hospitality industry. If the front desk persons personality matched the experience that was offered from the hotel I think this would be a 10/10 experience. It can be a bummer checking into a vacation with someone with bad energy at the front desk. Even a "how is your day going" didn't prompt a response as I sat in awkward silence to get my room key. I recommend offering bonuses for guest comments, or something to incentives the experience between front desk and guests. Still a wonderful experience though.

We were able to check in fairly late and the gentleman at the front desk was loaded with helpful advice he was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was been renovated and was extremely spacious , nice and clean. The bed was high-end and comfortable as could be. The location in South Lake Tahoe couldn't be any better access in both directions to food, lake, entertainment etc. It's really one of the most ideal locations as you can go either direction and really map out your day from it. Great place!

Clean up the back entrance to the building a little too much clutter and trash by the back exit door which also happens to be the best entrance for anyone who has a car as it is the entrance nearest the parking lot.

A great room. I had stayed at the Postmarc before and was aware of the spa rooms and bed. For me it’s a great place, location is great. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take advantage of the spa bath but I was welcomed on arrival and pleased with my stay.

There’s nothing not to like. I would only say that breakfast would be a bonus on staying here. The other facility that is available is the use of bicycles for guests. Again I couldn’t take advantage of that but it is a great facility.

We had a room with a jacuzzi bathtub. Spaceous, nice. The hotel is within walking distance to the center, sidewalk along the road though and it might be more inviting to have a walk a bit away from the main street. Parking is fine, the staff was friendly and an IHOP is just next door for breakfast.

Although the lights in many hotels have improved in recent years, this one could improve, in this room. Also, the presence of mirrors all around the bed is not helping a lot in this respect, and the mirrors is something to get used to ... and does not make the space between mirror wall and bed bigger (~1 ft)
