The room was very big and it is great to have parking available - but you do need to leave your key with them as they often juggle the cars around so that people parked at the back can leave. We didn't have an issue with this, but just be prepared to leave them the key. Its is a great location right near the famous old town, and then a short - but steeply uphill, walk to the castle.

Breakfast was fine but it wasn't as good as we had elsewhere in Albania. It was buffet and so not freshly cooked for you and also the table cloths used were ripped so it looked a bit run down.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of Berat. The room was beautifully decorated in line with the traditional decor (especially the wooden ceiling) and it had a gorgeous view. The bed was comfortable and the air con was very much appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is parking right in front of the hotel, which suited us perfectly.

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy breakfast. We found the selection limited and did not find that foods were appropriately covered. We felt the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly prior to our arrival. We found there were items in the bathroom bin and a sticker in the shower. However these issues were minor and only limited to the bathroom.

Fantastic location situated right on the heart of the centric zone of Berat, I really enjoyed it as it connects you right away with the center of the city. The historical Mangalem can be reached on the side of the road and the famous castle of berat is 10 minutes away by foot from the hotel. As per the room we stayed in it was nice with good equipment, and it brings together the traditional Albanian culture with a bit of modern. The hotel all around was impeccably maintained, very clean and to not talk about the breakfast, its abundance and quality. Thank you for everything Onufri Hotel team. Will be visiting again for sure. Definitely recommend. 10 out of 10

Room had a great view of the surrounding hills and beautifully carved ceiling. A nice buffet breakfast in the mornings. Very helpful staff when we checked in, they even let us park our motorbike in the garage below. You can walk up the hill to the castle, but we recommend doing this early in the morning before it gets too hot!

No drinking water is provided, but we found this common during our stay.

Location, Beautiful Restored Hotel Property, Great Parking and yes amazing staff. Even i forgot my trouser in the Hotel and the staff took care of it and sent it to another city where i was staying without a hassle through local transport. Overall great experience and i wish we would have stayed there more.

Unique and beautiful hotel with character. I came with my family. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The break fast was a feast and amazing, a full hot breakfast plus cold extras such as yogurt, bread, homemade jams, pancakes and a selection of fruit. The location is perfect, in the heart of the beautiful Old Town, a few minute drive to Berat Castle. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking outside the hotel. Upon request laundry was done for 10 euros for a large bag of clothes. The hotel overall was spotless, very clean. Only downside was that we didn't stay long enough. Thank you for everything Onufri hotel team. Will be visiting again for sure. Definitely recommend.

The hotel looks like it was recently renovated with nice comfy beds in large rooms, clean bathrooms and facilities overall. The lighting was very good with warm lights, none overhead which really enhanced the ambiance and added to the charm of the hotel. The patio by the restaurant was lovely. It was quiet, comfortable, very clean. Excellent value.

There was nobody there when we went to check in, no bell or way to call so we just had to wait until somebody came along. But the waiting area was airy and comfy. The stairs to the reception are fully outside with no overhead cover so if it is raining, it would be a precarious situation for children/older people to walk up the marble winding stairs in slippery conditions. The number of staff were not adequate during breakfast and it seems the hotel was fully booked so they couldn't keep up with the demand. I'd give the hotel a 10 if it weren't for the breakfast inadequacy.

The location of the hotel was really nice because it was literally in the old town and was really close to the castle. The rooms are nice and authentic style and the service was polite.

The parking situation is bad, too many rooms and not a lot of parking spaces. They ask you to give them your key of the car in case they need to move the car which was not ok for me personally. The breakfast could be a bit better, add some variety of meals to it.

I am a tour guide in Albania. I work with many hotels and I try to help people find the right spot to stay. This is my review: Location is perfect, right by the old part and the center of the city. Rooms are very clean and modern. Breakfast is more then enough. Staff is very friendly and positive. The hotel is very big and showcases the elegant style of Ottoman architecture. A very good price per quality ratio. Highly recommended!

I liked the location, conveniently located in the old town, minutes away from the castle, super clean room, awesome architecture, amazing view, delicious breakfast and restaurant, and what's most important, family owned business with everyone from the staff super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended and will stay over and over again in every visit to Berat.
