Staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs e.g., providing us with a kettle on request. The breakfast was really good too. Also there's a lovely man named Carlos across from the hotel who deals in car rentals, and provides parking as well as great deals. Lastly, there's lots of local amenities and some superb restruants just a stones throw away.

The location was closer to the airport than I had imagined which meant there quite a few planes coming in and out. There is also no pools of water nearby, except for an imported sand beach with wave breakers in walking distance... not really comparable to the back sand volcanic beaches you can find in the north west side of the island.

Great location, the staff was very kind - I had to check out at 4AM and they left a packed breakfast for us to pick up on the way out :) . Beds comfy, room clean.

Unfortunately we were a bit unlucky as there were other very noisy guests and we couldn’t sleep properly because of the shouting & door slamming. Poorly insulated, you could hear the traffic too. Other than that, an overall good experience.

Enjoying the renovated room, loved getting rid of those old carpets. Beautiful wiew from our room/balcony. As earlier a very god choice of breakfast. And a very serviceminded nice staff, quick answers before arrival and during stay.

Slippery bathtub, would be better with a change to shower. The bed a bit hard, but ok. Could use a bench or something for the suitcase and two chairs in the room.

Perfect location. Incredibly kind and helpful staff member, who also helped up with an early morning taxi booking. The rooms don't have air-conditioning and the staff member very thoughtfully gave us a fan that did the trick for a comfortable nights' sleep. Very cool town, too, and we managed to catch a local music event.

Great hotel in a top location with a good breakfast and very friendly staff.

This is just a personal preference, but for me the bed was a little too firm. Also there was a sewage smell from the bathroom that wasn't very pleasant but I wasn't in the room a lot so overall for me no problem.

The view from the room was amazing, the staff was very friendly, the location was central and with a lot of parking

The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, and the breakfast was poor, specially fruit wise since Madeira it's a place known for having lots of tropical fruits locally

Close by the airport, great option if you need a nice hotel for early flight. Breakfast had enough choice, was a nice start of the day. Ocean is very close by, you can easily walk around the city from the hotel.

Rooms are simple, slightly on the smaller size. Terrace is just a step out size.

It was very nice spacious and clean. Beautiful bathroom and balcony with a view at the ocean. The staff were nice and helpful everytime I needed something.
