Spacious, tastefully decorated room with a gas fire place, sink and nice cups and glasses. We had booked a room with patio (Sunset Suite) which was lovely "but" it faced the other way, so we could not see Morro Rock from our patio. There is a nice bar / seating area between the two wings of the building where we had dinner and a glass of wine with a great view of Morro Rock. There is no breakfast but a Keurig machine in the room and there are coffee and basic pastries in the lobby. The person who checked us in was super friendly and the hotel also has a wine bar onsite and a business that organizes activities (boat rental, etc.). The location is excellent, free street parking, in walking distance to all the waterfront businesses and a super short drive to the "downtown".

There is nothing we didn't like but some guests might be sensitive to the calling noise from the seals which we heard all night long. We enjoyed being so close to nature but that might not be for everybody.

The property is located right on the water with beautiful views and easy walks on the Embarcadero. A deck is provided without Adirondack chairs looking out at the estuary, and there is a wine shop and adventure shop within the building. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room, the Junior suite, was lovely with plenty of room and windows with beautiful views .

Everything was wonderful however there is a walkway right outside of our window so we had to be cautious of our lack of privacy. That was easily overlooked as we had beautiful views.

We loved the view from the beautifully appointed room and the location in Morro Bay was excellent. The hotel provided very welcome extras like binoculars and umbrellas - both of which we used and we enjoyed watching the world go by from the window seat while the fire cheered the room in the evening once the shutters were closed.

The mattress had a waterproof cover that made the bed a bit hot and uncomfortable at night and slightly spoiled the otherwise idyllic experience.

We loved our time at Estero Inn. The location is perfect along the waterfront, there are lots of nice eateries and shops nearby and you can rent boats or kayaks next door. The staff are lovely, really friendly people, and the rooms are fantastic. The wildlife is spectacular too - in two days we spotted sea otters, sea lions, ospreys, divers and grebes and a bald eagle. There's so much to explore in the local area. If you like wildlife, you can walk down to the boardwalk trail or drive to the elephant seal viewing point north of San Simeon. Kayaking on the bay is recommended, and good value.

I like a larger room with a view because we do all our walking and activities during the day and usually stay in at night. I like a hotel with 2 beds and the shower was large. Nice coffee set up on a long countetr with fridge and microwave.

It was very unusual not to have a front desk person until 3 and then she does double duty in the new wine room

Great location, very comfortable, nicely presented and well equipped.

Our only concern was that on arrival (after a very long and tiring day on the road), the receptionist insisted on charging our card the full room price, although we made her aware we had already paid for our stay via booking.com. However this was resolved very quickly (refunded) the following morning by a more experienced member of staff who was extremely friendly, professional and helpful.

The room was very comfortable and had a really nice home feeling with a wonderful view. I love the location because it was still on the main road of Morro Bay to where we can walk, but it was towards the end where it was kind of out-of-the-way of the major cluster.

We didn’t like the parking situation. There’s not much choices besides the two spots in front and then the side but a lot of the time just around it’s because of the boating center that they partner with.

Estero Inn is right on the bay and the view of Morro Rock is magnificent! The check in staff person was lovely and helpful, it was so nice to be welcomed by her. Parking is right outside the Inn too. And across the street is a new Mexican restaurant where we had a terrific breakfast the next morning.

This property was great. The decor of the room was super cute…made me feel like I was staying in someone’s home, not a hotel. We had a lovely view of the ocean from our balcony. The fireplace was an added touch. We loved that there were both a fridge and a microwave. It is located within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Location is perfect if you want to stay by the bay. It's at the end of the embarcadero where it is quiet. The view from the balcony is nice.

The shower needs to be fixed. When you move in the shower it makes very loud noises and feels like its going to fall through the floor.
