Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Celebrating a birthday and the space was amazing. Welcome Sangria; delicious. Beyond that, wonderful space for making you feel like you just might be in the Mediterranean. Absolutely great service from EVERYONE working in this beautiful, small space. When we arrived, there was a wonderful smell of banana muffins. I made a comment of how wonderful the smell was I got to sample the batch right out of oven! Also, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening that I'll say, rival DoubleTree!!!! Absolutely fantastic CA local. The Laguna Trolley stops in front of the hotel so that is HUGE. The space is amazing, clean, well serviced and we met some wonderful people also celebrating a bday so, many, many laughs in the pool with spritzes!! Lastly, people say the rooms can be small. YES BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN THEM! Great time and kudos to Jordan, the GM and everyone there, great CS. Thank You!

Feather pillows and noisy air con.

The view from our room was lovely! We could see the ocean & we loved eating our breakfast out on the patio. The included breakfast was a great touch and made us feel like we were really on vacation. The room was small but had everything we needed for a quick 2 night stay. We loved the pool area and everyone was so nice & accommodating. The welcome drink when we arrived was also a nice touch. We would love to come back and are thinking about booking our baby moon here in the next few months. The included toiletries were also a nice touch and smelled lovely - I also almost bought the robe it was so luxurious. The water took a little while to get hot but once it did, the waterfall shower was lovely after spending time at the beach.

Honestly everything was great for the most part, except my husband told me he saw a cockroach while I was sleeping run across the bathroom floor. That grossed me out but luckily I didn't see it & it's an old building right near the water so am not surprised. It definitely wouldn't keep me from staying here because everything else was so lovely (the staff, the decor, the BED & PILLOWS!, and the views from various spots on the property).

Location was great, even though we payed extra for an ocean view and it was a street view not directly on the water as we thought it would be. It was a great location for the fact I did propose to my fiancé this day so the ambiance was a very nice environment for this special occasion.

Breakfast was okay. The person selling us the extra free breakfast and welcome drink with parking pass really knew how to sell. For us we would have opted out for breakfast if we knew what the options would be. Another thing was the wifi was hard to get access to our phones and the parking spaces were very limited.

Very friendly and welcoming environment, private and homely. Breakfast is great and I like the small and quality selection. The hotel interior is very pleasant and perfect for holiday and the spa and pool are also well-structured with decorated environment with a view. Every corner was well decorated and its overall beautiful hotel. Parking spaces are also safe and tight but convenient.

Only thing was that the room is little small and the towels were always a bit wet maybe due to the moisture?

Wonderful stay, really wish we could have stayed longer! The trolly shuttle down to the beach is a bit hit and miss but the staff were so friendly and professional - the included free room service breakfast was delicious and a really lovely touch. Gorgeous grounds and interiors, really well thought through. We will be back again!

The parking is a little tricky but probably to be expected in Laguna and appreciate that is is free so thank you!

A wonderful small boutique hotel that's puts a capital C in their marketing description of curated. The design and feel of the hotel is very stylish which we felt was a fusion of Moorish and Mediterranean style blessed with Southern Californian charm. The service from front desk, chef and everyone else was amazing, so friendly, attentive and nothing seems a hassle. The little touches from live music and mimosa's at the weekend, to arrival calming white wine sangria and the "evening peanut" cookies were superb. Our room was beautifully appointed (reality matched the marketing pictures), clean and Cowshed bathroom products are extremely nice. We ate a few times in the hotel and the food quality was excellent even though the selection not extensive. Overall a magical place to stay for a few days to take a calm moment.

Nothing significant.

Beautiful, Creative and Tranquil gardens, buildings, decor. Amazing staff who are helpful, friendly and clearly enjoying their surroundings, their customers and each other. Sunset view is the best. The property is just the right size. Any bigger would make it feel like a hotel instead of an Inn. The energy of an old-fashioned Inn is delightful!

I cannot think of anything that should be different.

Location of the hotel is great. It is very close to lots of shops and restaurants. Everyone was very helpful and very nice. The only suggestion is maybe put a dehumidifier in each room as it gets very humid and feels very damp.

We love this place it was like a little quaint Boutique Hotel with so much Beauty to see around it looked like we were in Italy but we were in Laguna Beach we had great service we had all the people were super nice I cannot say anything nicer about this place

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. We didn't use most of the facilities and services, but breakfast was offered, and there is nice-looking pool. It's an authentic historic adobe house, very pretty. Room was clean and comfortable, Bottles of wine and water were in the room for purchase.

Not avoidable, but lots and lots of steps, which of course is the character and charm of this hotel.
