Cosy,clean comfortable bed , good functional tv with lots of channels - tea,coffee in room , good showers and breakfast - lovely helpful host - couldn’t fault it - 15 minute walk into town

Property great but Had to figure out buses and where they left from- it’s a long way from the station - but there is a bus after the walk into town - and from the station into town on bus D - there are many bus company’s that cover town and surrounding villages - can be confusing due to lack of signage. 801 Pullmans co was great to get to villages like Bourton and Moreton

The friendly welcome was great. .my room was ideal size for just me. .The window opened wide, which I always like to get plenty of fresh air. .,My bed was so comfy! Very cozy room with a homely feel. .there was 2 shower/toilet rooms, which were very clean. .T.v was a good size, and I felt relaxed in my room. . . The breakfast was fantastic! Exceptional eggs on toast! Amazing. . Location wise it was only a 16 min walk to the coach station/town area. . Corner shop across the road too. . Fantastic value for money!

Only 1 thing I didnt like was the pet dog roaming around at breakfast! Personally think dogs should be kept away from guests especially around food. .

Alice guest house is an exceptional little retreat 15 minutes walk from Cheltenham, town centre. You would never know such an idyllic, beautiful, calming retreat existed just behind the front garden wall. As someone who travels a lot and loves the countryside Alice, felt like being in Dorset, more than a built up city area in Cheltenham. From the exquisite back garden, the flowers, the unique little touches, Alice, is a visual delight and I would stay there again for definite next time I'm in Cheltenham.

A warm welcome. A fantastic "budget" room, just right for me! A nice bed, an ensuite toilet and shower (shower was fab), Kettle on a shelf with tea and coffee etc, a TV on the wall and plenty of electric sockets. A lovely small room, just right for a weekend away to relax, which was what i was looking for! Breakfast in the morning was just right to start my day. Great tip from the host of the local taxi company to use (Starline Taxis) who's App was really useful to get me around the Cheltenham area, with reasonable fares and a great service. I will be returning to Alice Guest House again in the future (already planning for 2025!)

Cute house much much bigger inside. A lovely welcome from owner Karen. Who gave me a set of keys to come and go at will as long as I locked the front door. 2 sets of stairs to room with huge suitcase and once there had space to store it. Room was bijou with 4 poster bed and everything antique, even the duvet cover looked like it was a bedspread by the design. Wall mounted TV, kettle, cups, tea and coffee. I dont like 4 poster beds and antique rooms but it was clean and tidy and the sash window opened for ventilation. The bathroom was on landing 2 steps down, choice of 2. Step in shower with stack of bath mats to take and put in basked once used. The house was quiet and I slept well. Next morning down to breakfast in the back of the house a sun room extension looking into the garden with the residential wooden chalets. I was greeted by the owners cute dachshund puppy and sat down at one of the two big tables. table was set for breakfast with condiments jams and butter. I just wanted toast and coffee which was served in an individual cafetiere, a nice touch and lovely thick crunchy toast.

I did not realise I could not park outside and was worried leaving my car out of site since I have had 2 cars stolen over the years. I also now realise I dont like a room without bathroom and having to creep out of my room in the dark to go to the toilet even tough a light was left on, I was concerned I would not be able to unlock my door again.

I had a wonderful stay in Cheltenham. I received a warm and friendly welcome in a well-located B&B. The beds were very comfortable, and there was tea and coffee in the room. The bathrooms were clean, and towels were provided. A smashing breakfast set the day up nicely and the host was very kind in letting us leave our bags for later collection. Milo the friendly dachshund was a great bonus too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

The idea of having little huts in the backyard is quite a nice one and I liked having my own space. The location is also great a 15-20minute walk both from the city center and the race course. The host was lovely and allowed me to store my bag before the room was ready as I arrived before the check in time. The breakfast was also nice and freshly cooked. It was possible to choose from a list of options, including different types of eggs, fried beans, toast, etc.

It got a little cold when I was there, but the duvet was enough to keep me warm. The reason I give this an 8, is because the hut was quite damp, which wasn't so comfortable. The shower could be better, but I understand why it was small and electric because of this being a hut.

Very kind, thoughtful welcome. Comfortable bed , very clean ensuite, excellent breakfast! Pleasant garden seating area. Close proximity to beautiful Pittville Park with very good eating facilities in the adjacent park to this. Plenty of small shops and larger supermarkets within walking distance.

My room and location weren't what I expected from the booking description. The worst aspect was that there were no parking facilities on the premises. Adjacent streets close by I was able to find eventually a parking place. It was very stressful finding this after a long journey. I feel this should be mentioned in the booking details.

It was just an overnight stay but I received a curtesy call checking the booking and my eta. Alice was super welcoming, friendly and helpful. I had a really lovely room which was very comfortable and breakfast was great.

There was nothing I didn't like. My satnav got me there no problem but I missed the sign, as the entrance is not on the road. Perhaps a more prominent sign if that is permissible? Parking is on the street less than 50m away.

Lovely little home tucked away on a non descript street very close to Cheltenham town centre. Pretty garden with 2 chalets one of which was mine. So quiet! Very comfy bed and superb shower pressure! Stylish Moroccan themed decor. The owner has another property over there which looks delightful. Breakfast made to order. Milo the little dog was an extra delight! I would stay here again.

All good. (Larger towels and an armchair would have been welcome).
