Staff were fantastic, very friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm and the location is amazing as it is right next to the main street, and only a five minute drive from the three sisters look out. beds were comfortable and clean and water pressure in the shower was amazing.

The ceiling in the bathroom was a bit worse for ware. visible mould spores on the ceiling and a bit of peeling paint. there were a few missing tiles on the floor but weren't the biggest issue. Windows rattled A LOT with the wind, but conditions were worse than normal the weekend we visited and older hotel windows tend to be rattly anywhere.

Its located at a quiet and convenient location just at the end of the shopping district of the main st of Katoomba. Its roughly a 10-15min walk from the regional train station. The room is reasonably sized that comes with a mini dining table+chairs and a pantry thats well supplied with utensils and free coffee/tea sachets. It also has microwave and fridge which is a good option for those who want to have frozen meals (although they have decent restaurants down the shopping district). The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, they have a reverse cycle split system which is a plus point during colder seasons although it does get a little noisy when its switched on because of the condenser unit right behind the walls but it doesnt really bother me much as I switched it off once the room is warm.

The location was great. Walking distance to shops, restaurants. Close to three sisters, echo point etc. The room was a good size, and had a small kitchenette. Great heating and the bed was very comfortable. Discounted buffet bfast available at a nearby sister accommodation, which was very good.

Unfortunately, we went on the busiest weekend of the year for Katoomba, a running event. We could not change our weekend and were forced to pay double the room rate, which was excessive. Not sure if this is legal? Normally, the room rates are very good. The hotel is on the older side and there are a few stairs, so request a ground floor unit if this is a problem. We had no issues with noise and would stay there again.

Location is excellent for transport, shopping, cafes and restaurants. It is very quiet. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The room is of a good size.I enjoyed my stay but would have expected a better maintained room.

Although the daily cleaning was good the room really needed a Spring clean and some maintenance work. The window corners, shower door-tracks and carpet at the desk legs showed accumulated grime. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked and some with missing bits. The tile grouting has been lost between a number of wall tiles and the shower floor. The “kitchenette” cannot support any meal preparation. There is a microwave but no container to use in it and no other means of cooking. No sharp knife. The sink is also the only wash basin.

I liked being able to check in any time with the key from the lock box, and I liked the informational text just before I arrived. There was beautiful clean linen and fresh pillows on the comfy bed. I liked having everything I needed in the room without having to leave it - bathroom, fridge, microwave, kettle. The shower was wonderful, great pressure and heat. Plenty of power points and a heater.

In the informational text, there was advice to open the front door. I followed these instructions to the letter several times without success. Perhaps these could be removed or checked, and moved further down in the text. (If I'd realised straight away that the "front" reception was in fact the door in the car park, and open all the time, I would not even have gone to the front door.🙂) I was unable to figure out how the air conditioner in the room worked, but I didn't really need it. Also the cistern ran constantly, so may need some adjustment.

Beautiful place great location convenient and comfortable. Definitely worth it and would return .

They need to leave more kitchen amenities, dishwashing detergent cloths to wipe bench , olive oil and salt and pepper were practically empty. These small things if available should be filled not left with drops in it. That was a little disappointing, to wash dishes with barely enough detergent. Also possibly small Pan and pot too. So not using huge one for one person.

The bath was big and exactly what we were looking for in a place yo stay at. The location was right in the centre of town which made getting out and about so easy. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Our room was separate from the rest of the other rooms which gave us more of a sense of privacy. The air con was great to have on those cold mornings and evenings. We didn't expect yo get a complimentary bottle of red wine in our room, made it feel that little more special.

The room could've been a little cleaner. The toilet water would run through the night. Aand one more than 1 extra roll of toilet paper. Kind of wish the tv had Netflix or streaming for those lazy chill out moments.

The accomodation is on the main road and close to Katoomba station (within a 10 min walk). There is parking on site and it is a quick drive to Echo Point to see the famous Three Sisters. A breakfast buffet was included in our stay at a partnered accomodation opposite the station. It was like visiting an aunty or grandma's place and provided a home-like feel. This gave us a good start to the morning.

They have shampoo and body soap, but no conditioner (maybe on request but we didn't try this). We booked a room for two adults but we only received one body towel and no floor mat/towel (so bring your own towel or ask them for extra).

Met my expectations for a motel. Close to everything. Rooms are inside the building not directly off the street. Room smelled nice. Bed was ok and (i brought my own pillow). Has heaters in room and bathroom. Fridge, microwave, kettle, dishes was useful.

it didn’t affect me much as it is a motel. but you can hear clearly when ppl are coming to their rooms, and can wake you if they do so late at night- given the heritage style of the hotel, the wooden floors would make noise if someone is walking (could clearly hear them talking). But it didn’t bother me as the star rating for the motel kind of corresponds to that experience i guess. And i was out all day so i am speaking for evenings and night time. Fridge was noisy a little but nothing that would stop you from falling asleep.

Microwave, utensils in kitchenette. Biscuits, herbal tea... White spa bath and towels. Toilet was new... Hair dryer. Nice light furnishings. Table, chairs, cushions. Heater. Roomy room. Comfotable, cosy and warm. Very clean. Quiet.

Old toilet seat crazed plastic. Couldn't turn the spa off. Solution was a bit unsafe. The breakfast is reliant on being able to get up the hill. Man and woman employees were impatient. Construction substation work at the front.
