I have been here every year for the past 15 years, so that should be the answer :) every thing. The Location is the best as everything is around you, breakfast superb and opens early at 6.30 which is a big + for early check-outs etc. The SPA is one of the reasons I choose this hotel it's really nice with beautiful swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and relaxing room. The rooms spacious and very comfortable and clean, the inside and out Bar area is very nice with reasonable prices.

Not much not to like, just the smoking in the inside bar is very annoying especially the cigars :)

The hotel offers a lovely buffet breakfast with both hot and cold options. It’s in a great location right by the Danube River, just a short walk from the Old Town. The room was clean, spacious, and had a classic elegant feel, with a comfortable bed and a view of the river.The location was fantastic for exploring Bratislava on foot. The breakfast was varied and fresh, and the staff were professional and helpful. I also appreciated the wellness facilities – the sauna and pool were a nice bonus after a day of sightseeing.

The decor felt a little dated in places, and the soundproofing could be better – I occasionally heard noise from the street trams with window open

What I liked most about this hotel was the river view – I had a room facing the water, and I highly recommend it for the wonderful view. The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was spacious, clean, and nicely done. The building has a charming 60s character that’s been well maintained, giving it a unique feel. The staff were fantastic, especially in the restaurant and bar, where the service was warm and attentive. Breakfast was simple but very nice, with a good atmosphere. I also enjoyed the wellness area – the pool was pleasant, the sauna was good, and the massage was excellent.

There were a few things that could be improved. The lift was very slow, which was a bit frustrating. Taking the stairs wasn’t much better, as there’s a heavy door that swings back quickly – I actually hurt my arm on it. The gym also felt outdated and could really use an upgrade.

The staff were amazing, helpful, and friendly. Service was really good . The location was fantastic., right in the old town and with views of the river.

Breakfast was limited, and hot food was cold. The containers for the hot food had no hot water under them until our last day. There was no toaster until the last day. The heater under the hot water wasn't kept lit, so my tea wasn't hot. But staff are lovely. Also, the pool doesn't open until 2pm. I would have given them a 10 had the breakfast been better, and the pool opened from early in the morning.

A truly unforgettable stay – absolutely perfect! We had the most amazing experience at this hotel in Bratislava. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Upon check-in, we were surprised with a free upgrade to the hotel’s master suite – the best room available! It was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. That gesture alone made our day and set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Everything about this hotel was just perfect: the warm and professional staff, the delicious and varied breakfast, the unbeatable location right in the heart of the city, and the incredible atmosphere that made us feel so welcome and at home. We genuinely loved every second of our time here and will definitely return. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. Highly, highly recommended!

Location is great ! Very close to the bus stop and walking distance to old town. Rooms are very comfortable and the river view is amazing.

I booked two rooms for our family of four and selected the “breakfast included” option. However, upon check-in, we were told that breakfast was only included for the adults, and we were charged an additional fee for our children. This is incredibly frustrating—when choosing the “breakfast included” option, it’s reasonable to expect that it covers everyone in the booking, not just part of the group. There was no room for discussion, and we were forced to pay the extra charges. Booking.com, you need to make this clear to customers in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Great room and price for the room, it is located near center with easy access to main attractions. Room was quite and clean with a loot of space and closets.

I did not like the price for parking, there are not many hotels, that don't have their own parking. And here i think it was booking's problem when i was searching for place it did not said that there is an extra price for parking. After i booked it, i saw that it was specified, and the price for parking was in my extra search criteria for choosing final location.

Clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of options. Vegan options were available at breakfast i.e. soya milk and margarine alternative. Happy to store our luggage after check out as our flight was later in the evening. This allowed us to explore the city for our last few hours suitcase free.

Once checked out, you're no longer considered a guest thus use of spa facilities revert to full price. We therefore decided not to use these or book any treatments and instead stored our luggage and explored the city one last time.

Staff is polite, breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable, I think it should need a bit of renovation, but other than that everything is great.

I think that 30% of the total hotel price for parking is a lot, I think it should be a bit cheaper for hotel guests. I think there should be one more person working in lobby bar, as its really hard for one person to keep up with 10 tables, props to him for mixing the drinks and bartering at the same time, but I think its too much for one waiter, as the wait time is a bit long…

We spent here only one night but It was great stay. Breakfast was really tasty and the room was big - we took one with the view towards the river (Keep in mind that you will hear the public transport/cars then). The whole building is also quite interesting and we really liked it's architecture. And if you like cats then... next to the hotel is great cat-caffee :-)

The parking is quite expensive but at least you don't waste time trying to find a free place close to the hotel.
