Central location in the beautiful village of St Keverne. I had a large well equipped room with a bay window looking out on the square with an en-suite. The owner met me on arrival and explained that the bar area was having some emergency maintenance completed and would be out of action on my stay. However my room was superb and breakfast could be and was catered for. There is another pub in the village that I managed to get an evening meal at so I was satisfied.

The bar, sadly not being available. A nightcap was laid on outside the room's for everone free of charge if required, so no real complaints. Cheers Jeremy!

Nice large room and bathroom. Very clean, comfy bed. Lovely evening meal. Cold milk in fridge on landing & nightcap drinks for guests a nice touch.

The only thing that stopped our stay here being perfect was the lack of staff in the restaurant. I assume several staff had been given the night off since it was Flora day, therefore the girl running the restaurant & taking the orders and serving food could not get the food out quicker because she appeared to be doing three peoples jobs at once, including serving drinks at the bar! (an oversite on the management or perhaps they just thought it would be quiet?)

I was delighted upon arrival at the view of this exquisite little hotel set in the village square. I was greeted by a warm welcome and given a little tour of the place by Jeremy, the landlord. The inside of the pub is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, everything is immaculately clean. The garden at the back is well appointed and looks out onto the most beautiful countryside. My room was spacious and comfortable with huge windows overlooking the village square. The staff were friendly and helpful. The small menu was wonderfully inviting and I ate a delicious dinner in a cosy setting. I had a great nights sleep and awoke knowing that I’d have to have another night there, so I extended my stay. Just go there, it won’t disappoint.

We spent a week at Three Tuns and we liked everything. The room, as well as all the common parts of the hotel, are very clean. The hotel has a soul, which the owners 'accompany' and cultivate. The room was perfect: comfortable, bright and full of little touches (great products in the bathroom, bottles of still and sparkling water on the table, tea, coffee, biscuits). The breakfast is delicious, with a wide choice of options, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We also dined several times at the hotel and again found everything delicious. Finally, the location. We liked St Keverne immensely, it is a village where there is a sense of community. One could spend hours simply watching the comings and goings of people on the square overlooked by the hotel, which is also the centre of the village (but which remains very quiet!). There are also beautiful walks to do from the village itself. And then there is Coverack, Porthallow, the coastal path... the Lizard Peninsula is a place to discover without stress, simply by letting yourself go. And between walks, drop by Roskillys, which is just a stone's throw away. Ah, I forgot. The hotel is truly pet friendly. Everything is done to make everyone feel good, bipeds and quadrupeds. What can I say? We very much hope to return one day. And may that day be soon! Thank you Naomi and all of you for making three tuns a place where one simply feels *good*. Beautiful little pub, fantastic staff. Owners helpful, friendly and very welcoming. Many of the staff are young, but brilliant. A credit to the pub and the management. Couldn't fault our stay. Food was incredible, so good in fact that we ate in the pub every day for our 8 day holiday. Brilliant Breakfast, and plenty of choice. 1st time I've stayed somewhere and actually felt full up from the Breakfast. Reccomend the lamb rump for the evening meal.

A bit of noise from the kitchen extraction unit in our room, but that's it.

The setting was lovely. 6 lovely bell tents set in rural surroundings with an assigned picnic bench and parasol to use on fine days. The shared bathroom facilities with shower, toilet and complimentary toiletries and toilet tissue were well stocked and a lovely touch and kept very clean. The fridge was stocked with milk to accompany the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in the bell tent. Also more to replenish if needed. The hairdryer is also a well thought out addition. The breakfast was second to none. Absolute winner along with all staff encountered. More than accommodating. The umbrella in your tent is also a great idea and much needed with our great British weather. The heater/air conditioning unit was brilliant especially as the tents draw the moisture and it can feel quite damp at times but this little star sorted that out in a jiffy. Bottle of water also was very welcome on arrival.

The bell tent although it looked amazing when we arrived was dusty and wasn’t cleaned throughout. Maybe a dustpan and brush could be left in each tent for use throughout the stay as when you walk along the path it is inevitable that you pick up bits on your shoes and though they are left at the door, if your canine friends are accompanying you, they can bring in freshly cut grass etc. I found this quite difficult to keep clean even though it’s a small area. Minor detail which doesn’t detract from everything else that is amazing about it!

The Three Tuns was so quaint! We stayed for four nights at this pub/restaurant/inn. The beds were super comfy. Breakfast was amazing--you choose from a made-to-order menu and select your time between 8 and 10am. All the food was excellent, and we overheard other guests and locals also commenting on just how good the food has been since the place came under new management. A complimentary nightcap was included. Our room had a view of St. Keverne's impressive historic church. Parking was provided for guests around the back, since the village square gets busy. St. Keverne is a small historic village within a reasonable drive of lots of places of interest in the area. The cherry on top, though, was the family who run the Three Tuns--such genuinely friendly, hospitable, and helpful people who made our stay extra pleasant. There aren't a lot of rooms/tents, so like in a bed and breakfast, the few guests received personal attention. I can't say enough good things about our hosts or our stay.

As for downsides, there weren't any that couldn't but be expected. Our room in this old inn was on the small side (though our bathroom was extra big). The shower water pressure could have been better. Our kids stayed in one of the glamping tents, which was surprisingly nice, but due to the rainy weather had a somewhat cool, damp feel to everything, and they had a semi-outdoors bathroom. Also, with how good the food is at this otherwise typical old-style pub, you might need to reserve a spot for dinner! But I'm being picky, since none of these issues really detracted from our stay.

The hotel was nicely decorated, warm and welcoming. Jack at the bar was especially friendly—his brother, too who served me for breakfast. I also found out he was the head chef and only 17 - The food was amazing and I heard other guests compliment the quality of the food. I also learnt they were brothers and had been working there since school so really understood business well. They are a huge credit to the management and Punch Pubs & Co. The room was immaculate, and the bed/duvet/pillows were extremely comfortable. The housekeeping staff must take a lot of pride in preparing the bedrooms. I thought the complimentary port and whiskey was an excellent touch, quite unique and much appreciated!

The only criticism was the shower wasn't as powerful as I'd of liked. If that was sorted you'd have perfection!

I missed my flight, so we didn't arrive until 2am. Naomi was really responsive to messages and arranged access after hours. We were only staying a night and were gutted we couldn't enjoy the pub experience. It is such an attractive pub. We had a gorgeous breakfast, every bit of it was delicious. Hosts were wonderful. We would love to go back - because of our delay we missed out on the the night time experience. Beautiful rooms, building and the church and graveyard were lovely to wander around.

Missing the pub experience, but that was my fault.

We loved The Three Tuns. Our room had a lovely view of the church and had everything we needed. We ate in the pub restaurant and the food was really delicious, as was breakfast. The free nightcap is a lovely touch. All the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

It could do with a deep clean in some corners but I am confident that the new owner will be addressing this.
