The location was extremely convenient if you are taking any water busses. It was only a seven minute walk to the San Marco station, and less than a five minute walk to San Marco Piazza. The breakfast had several options and even our children (7 and 9) were able to fill up before heading out for the day. The beds were comfortable and the room was easily big enough for our family of 4.

The Wi-Fi was non existent in our room (family room 109). Spotty does not even describe it and this made it very frustrating for us when trying to plan our days.

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The location was excellent. The view from the balcony was perfect

Beautiful property. Rooms are very traditional Venetian as you can see from the photos of the place. The location is superb!!! Right in the heart of all the action. St Marks square is literally a 5 minute walk from the doorstep. The reception staff are fantastic. We had to leave early for our flight and the man very kindly arranged an early breakfast bag that we could take with us. He also sought out all the ferry times and locations so that we made it for our early flight. The buffet breakfast is great. A nice variety of Croissants, cakes, cereals, cooked bacon, scrambled egg and sausages, jams, toast, ham, cheeses, fruit juices and tea/coffee etc. Would absolutely visit again.

This wasn’t an issue. However the hotel is based right next to a canal. The locals tended to start work early 6am each morning delivering goods into the area from the boats. They didn’t seem shy of making a noise so early so we were woken up early each day. This isn’t a fault of the hotel, our room was at the front. So I’m sure a different room would not experience this. The hotel and staff are fantastic

Very nice hotel in an amazing location close to all the attractions...just a couple of minutes walk to San Marco square and the ferry. The room was a good size with a kettle and mini snacks. Breakfast was good with lots of varieties.

The location was confusing on Google maps and Venice roads are like a maize. It took us nearly an hour going around the area and the directions given by the hotel were not helpful. I had to contact the hotel and ask for someone to come to collect us as we were 2 minutes away from the place and it was nearly mid-night. Angelos at the reception came a collected us...really appreciated.

The position is perfect, right in the center among the nice shops and restaurants. Our room was having a channel view and it was worth it, I could have stayed for hours watching gondolas passing by. This view is one of my greatest memories of Venice. Breakfast was nice and the stuff was managing very good serving it, without making anyone wait, even thou there were quite a lot of people. The room was very clean and cured. The staff were helping to bring bags up the stairs. The man at reception was very helpful and friendly.

Thirst thing that we were told by the woman at the reception, that our room is for two, and we have to additionally pay for the third bed and that it doesn’t matter what is written in my confirmation (my confirmation letter was for 3 people). Since we refused to pay additionally, we were brought to the room with 3 beds anyway. So they were just trying to collect money twice, be aware of this trick. Also, the room was much smaller than at description on booking.com and I’m still not sure if we were really having the room that we have ordered, thou the window view was right as we ordered.))The woman at reception was rude and even insulting. Luckily there was a man the next day and we have changed the perception of a hotel to the better.

Our family room with view on the inner courtyard has red walls and a giant chandellier made of colourful Murano glass – it took some days to get used to so much colours in the room. The beds are comfortable, there are two fridges and the air conditioning is a strong one – we had to use it carefully not to catch a cold. The staff is (a bit surprising) mostly of Asian origin, being very kind and helpful and speaking fluent English. The continental breakfast is tasty, whatever you choose. Piazza San Marco is at 5 minutes walking distance, just like the Vaporetto station San Marco (Vallasero). Hotel San Moise is a good starting point to discover Venezia.

We were in a "family room", but I haven't realized in advance that this literally means 4 beds in one room = no separate bedroom for the kids... or us). There was a very limited space to put the wet clothes and towels after returning from Lido beach. Only a few available sockets to charge the phones

Excellent location and value for money. The staff at the hotel were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was small but as I had not booked a superior room it was to be expected in Venice. There were coffee and tea making facilities in the room which you sometimes do not get in Venice. The bathroom was amazing with a lovely walk in shower and fluffy white towels. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality to set you up for your day.

The only down side was that you had to walk outside to reach the breakfast room.

Great location, excellent front desk service, and staff were very helpful and polite. We were able to get a water taxi to the hotel and also from right outside the Hotel on the day of our departure. Good buffet breakfast in a lower level of the Hotel allowing one to look out at the Gondolas as they row past a panoramic window. Very pleasant decor, plenty of Murano glass on show and the courtyard was very nice, I can imagine it would be great during the hot summer. Location was excellent, Piazza San Marco is about 4 minutes away on foot, and the hotel is just at the end of the main high-end shopping street.

The bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Our stay in March meant there was no air-conditioning available (starts in April), our top floor room was excessively hot (26 degrees at night).

The room was like a period scene totally fitting in with the venetian look. Breakfast was included and sufficient in size to last most of the day touring the sights. The location of hotel San moise was unbelievable it is located down a side alleyway just 150 meters from St Marks Square. Fantastic Price was decent for the area NO complaints from US.

Outside lacked a touch paint / tidying up.
