The owner introduced himself and l phoned to say running late they told me my room number .Nothing seems to be a problem and very clean,tidy units . Every thing you needed was available for cooking and we also committed to ourselves never used a shower cover before no foggy room .Had all the safety equipment easy access available like fire appliances etc . We were down for the concert so just had my motorhome service thought still drive it down to make sure it was working well .They found a spot to park it for me ,

Good sized studio room. Lovely linen with our towels folded into amazing holders with facecloths tucked inside. Decent extra blanket and milk bottle

Not many Sky channels to choose from. Nowhere in bathroom to place personal stuff while using it such as cosmetics or shaving kit. Outside stairs beside the room need noise proofing

Friendly staff, well equipped, great shower

The units upstairs had noisy floors which meant when they needed to walk around through the night we were woken up. Also, my misunderstanding I think, but we were expecting a separate bedroom but it was a studio layout.

It is very new, clean, accessible to the beach and facilities are working perfectly. Cannot think of any downside to the place. Highly recommended for small family to stay.

My wife commented that there is only one small pot to cook Maggi mee. To me it's a small matter and the positives far outweigh this little inconvenience.

Hotel has all the basic amenities that travellers need. It even has a coin-operated laundry which not all NZ hotels have.

A little bit far in terms of walking distance to the town centre, but not too far off to be honest. However, if you want to be near the Buffalo Beach, then it is about a 3-min walk going there.

The shower was the best. The water pressure was amazing!!!!! Best shower I have ever had. The place was well stocked with essentials. Even given milk on arrival for a cuppa. Friendly staff, helpful with great local knowledge of were to go and what to do.

Very helpful and friendly manager who responded quickly to any request for assistance that we had. The kitchenette area was well equipped. The shower water pressure was excellent. Towels were changed daily even though we did not request it. Very nice.

Great location, clean and modern with full kitchen facilities. Owners very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Water pressure in shower is phenomenal, like having a massage after a day's activity. Sky TV in the room is a bonus.

Location near town centre with excellent communication from owners. Room looks new, very comfortable with cooking facilities which is a plus. Has paid laundry facilities which I did not use. Would stay again if around Whitianga area.

The location is convenient, and the room was clean, plus the amenities provided in the room were useful. It's barely a few minutes walk from the Buffalo beach and a few mins drive to Whitianga Wharf and great many eateries.

It's a bit pricey for a motel.
