everything breakfast amazing well laid out and cooked to order, staff and owner extremely welcoming nothing was too much trouble . The bedroom's welll laid out and spacious we had a family room and it was perfect. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities generously topped up every day the linen and towel where immaculate and spotless.The bathroom with shower was also spotless toilet rolls supplied when running low . The location is less than a five minute walk for the beach and local shops an eight minitue walk away. if you fancy further afield bus to Gosport ferry is directly outside the property and its a three min walk for the bus stop to go to Fareham.

Quiet location, large & spacious room (family room) plenty towels & toiletries, tea & coffee facilities, fresh drinking water, spotlessly clean, lovely view of the garden. Plenty choice for breakfast; cereals, fruit, pastries, and cooked breakfasts made to order. Lovely friendly staff. Close to the beach, or short drive into Gosport for shops & restaurants. You can also hop on the Gosport ferry across to Portsmouth for more shops & restaurants at Gunwharf Quays, Spinnaker tower, Historic dockyard to visit some old Navy ships. Short coastal walk to Southsea where you can get the 45 minute ferry to Isle of Wight or for more of an experience its a 10 minute Hovercraft journey

Lovely hosts Sharon and Jill made us feel very welcome and prepared a wonderful fresh english breakfast to order and a lovely fruit salad every day. You can walk to the small town centre and beach in 5 minutes. Perfect place to visit the Plymouth, Southampton and go bird watching. Good drivable distance from heathrow airport. Parking spaces in front of house are very convenient.

Very minor things: toilet lever needs a little getting used to/ not that easy to operate, little space to store bags (we used the spacious bathroom), it gets pretty warm in the breakfastroom with more than two people.

The atmosphere was very welcoming. The owner and staff were helpful nothing was too much trouble. There was a great choice for breakfast ranging from fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal to a full English. Gluten free was also available. Room and bathroom clean and tidy with tea making facilities. Car park on drive. I would stay again no problem.

Have nothing to dislike.

Attractive, great location near the high st of Lee-on-The-Solent with a good selection of amenities and just down the road from the beach as well as good road links to other nearby towns. Parking right out front on the driveway! The owner had to go out for a few moments, but on our arrival we were prepared for and an envelope with the key messaged to us so we could go straight to our room and unpack. Beautiful room overlooking an attractive landscaped garden with the added feature of subtle lighting at night. Well appointed bathroom with walk in shower en-suite. Nice clean towels, soap etc available. Very comfortable beds and pretty bedding. Everything in the room worked, that’s not always the case in some places we have been. Good choice of TV channels! Room Service kept things well stocked, such as teas and coffees, milk, biscuits etc. very nice breakfast room, plenty of choice & a well cooked breakfast and good coffee. Staff are lovely and friendly as are the hosts guests every time we have been. Definitely stay again!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property

Really lovely welcome from the owner. The room was nice, roomy and clean with a view on a superb garden with a pond and fairy lights at night. Very quiet area, no street noise as facing the garden. Nice bathroom. Small private car park in the front of the house so no need to park in the street. Very good breakfast. Lovely pub nearby to have dinner. The beach and some shops are very close too.

A convenient location offering a choice of room styles. Very well organized and the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad and lots of sides in addition to the cooked breakfast. The breakfast room is available in the evenings if you want to bring in something to microwave or a takeaway. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My fellow guests included regulars that were there on business as well as pleasure.

Had a lovely welcome from Carol. She showed me my bedroom and bathroom, which was perfect for me. The room was spotless and airy, being as the windows were open!! Being as I was there only for the night I pretty much crashed out on the bed and had a mug of tea and fruit that I had brought with me. Morning time came round and was greeted with a very hospitable and warm hello from the staff. Breakfast was delicious!! Definitely ticked all my boxes! I would definitely go back even if it is just for the night again as they were all very friendly.

Easy to find with parking outside. Owner was really helpful, letting us check in just before lunch. It was a hot day but there was a fan in the room along with fresh drinking water. There was also the usual tea and coffee making facilities. The room was exceptionally clean with good quality bedding and towels. We also had toiletries and a hairdryer. Although the room was pretty compact it was perfect for our one night stay and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb with a nice choice of scrambled egg with smoked salmon or full cooked breakfast plus juice, cereal, fruit and toast. Leeward house is really well placed for the sea and the town which has cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. We will definitely stay there again.

The host and family were amazing so thoughtful went out of their way nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was brilliant all fresh cooked to order which was done in super quick time and cooked to the way I like it. If there was one thing and it’s picky as I could not find fault in the whole stay is that a full length mirror in the room or on back of door maybe (there was one at the top of the stairs on landing and the mirror above the desk to be lowered so you can sit at the desk and put your make up on
