Very clean, comfortable and well decorated room with good tea and coffee facilities and crockery if eating in. Excellent breakfast brought to the door. Literally just off the A30 so very convenient for breaking a long journey up or down to West Country. This made for a bit of road traffic noise but with trusty earplugs in, it did not disturb me (especially in the winter months) Could park car very close to the unit for ease of access and sense of security Excellent value for money for a solo traveller Highly recommend it

The room was lovely it was warm and the shower worked well. The extras like milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, and orange juice were very much appreciated and such good value. The hearty breakfast was exceptional, all piping hot, and the eggs benedict were fantastic. We had a wonderful good value meal at the Sidmouth Arms in Upottery as recommended by the hosts at the B&B. Hosts Cara and Steve were very friendly, helpful, and always on hand. Plenty of parking and great value for dogs at only £6 each extra charge when we stayed for one night Just a few things that didn't bother us but may bother others, there is nowhere to walk from the door. Our dogs are not fussy and happy to do their business on the gravel drive, so not a problem for us. A short drive away is NT Dumpdon Hill Fort, which is a great walk with stunning views over the surrounding area and great for furry friends. The property is right on the A30 which is very convenient, the road noise didn't keep us from sleeping, but if you feel it will, this may not be the place for you. The traffic noise was much less at night. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay again with or without the dogs.

Cara and Steve are exceptional hosts and the breakfast was amazing! A brilliant selection to choose from, served piping hot and beautifully presented. Despite being alongside the road there was no noise issues and perfect for accessing surrounding areas. Room was clean and warm despite the sudden change of weather, bed was comfortable and lots of tea and coffee supplied. We will definitely be staying again!

The location was easy to find, and perfect for our needs - as we were meeting up with family in Honiton. Your B&B offer was excellent value - the cooked breakfast, with local produce, was faultless.

There was nothing not to like. Just one very small piece of feedback: in our room there was a step down from the bathroom to the kitchen. When we first arrived, my wife missed her step coming out of the bathroom and stumbled. Not wishing to ruin the beautiful floor tiles, but it might be worth exploring if there's a way you can highlight the step visually in some way.

Steve and Cara were such friendly hosts. We arrived on foot, on a walking holiday in the Blackdown Hills. They picked us up from the end of the nearby lane so we didn't have to walk the last 500m along the dangerous A30 and dropped us back to the lane on the other side of the main road the next morning. The room was lovely - very clean and comfortable and the breakfast (eggs benedict and vegetarian fry up) was excellent.

Nothing really - obviously would prefer B&B not to be right on main road but it makes up for it in many ways.

The rooms are to a high standard with quirky decorations, Cara and Steve are fantastic hosts. We will be returning. The breakfast was cooked to perfection with locally sourced produces used. Lots of wildlife to see on the valley behind the accommodation we saw 3 deer grazing.

The only downside side is that the road can get a bit busy to pull out of the car park. The footpath stops you need to drive to get to get out and about.

Stunning location and the rooms were beautifully. Gorgeous decoration with modern shower and a smart TV with Netflix (kids enjoyed that!). Lots of lovely little touches that made it feel really warm and welcoming. Stuff like orange juice and cold water waiting for us in the fridge, a box of board games under the bed. The owners were really friendly and helpful. You can tell they want to help make your stay as lovely as possible. Breakfast was delicious and they have so many options.

I travelled 4 hours for a job interview in Honington... Great location to access Honington itself. Room motel style self contained ground floor with parking straight outside the door... Like it's own little cottage, very comfy bed, great shower, well thought out kitchenette. Lovely little touches like milk and OJ in the fridge, coffee, tea etc even a jar of corn flakes. Full English breakfast brought to the room to eat on the table provided at a time pre arranged. Steve and Cara are most welcoming... thank you both

Perfect location for a stopover when travelling to Cornwall. We have stayed here before and would happily stay again in the future. Warm welcome, great hosts, a very comfortable bed, heating that made the room cosy on a blustery night, a powerful shower with plenty of hot water, a mini fridge was a bonus, a lovely private courtyard, and a scrumptious breakfast. We asked to change a few items to our breakfast order, which was accommodated to perfection.

Iwouldn't change a thing the ambience and style are perfect as well as the amenities

Cara was a great host and provided a fabulous breakfast each morning. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower room was well appointed. Plenty of safe parking. Good base for touring East Devon and Somerset.

Fair amount of traffic noise from early morning to late at night from busy A road. Willow Room was a little small for a four night stay.
