We received a warm welcome. The room was nice. The location of the property was ideal for our overnight stay before travelling to Devon the following morning. Breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. Our arrival was later than planned and our host gave us a very helpful suggestion of a nearby pub to get an evening meal.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, but one’s bed at home is always the comparison.

It was a pleasure to stay in this historic house - the friendly hosts made us feel very welcome. Easy enough to find and sufficient private parking. Large bedroom with seating area - well furnished and attractively decorated with view over large garden. Good electric shower. Very good breakfast. Will be happy to return.

The steps and stairs might be too much for someone with limited mobility although there is one ground floor room available.

Friendly helpful who facilitated late arrival without fuss. Room was homely and comfortable not hotel chain type but with character. Nice little touches like a plug in night light and trouser press. Breakfast was really good with some interesting and unusual options available. The staff:owners are really keen that you have a good stay. Excellent for price.

Couldn’t get the TV to work but I’m sure if I’d arrived earlier I could’ve got staff to resolve so my bad.

We wanted to break our journey down to St Ives from Manchester and this location was perfect, just a few minutes off the M5. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Real value for money. Nice friendly welcome. Excellent full English breakfast with great coffee, and delicious homemade marmalade on toast! Would definitely book this again.

The cooked breakfast was absolutely superb. Very nice coffee in a cafetiere and there was lovely home made marmalade. I stayed in the Tudor Room which had a lot of genuine character The excellent modern lighting and good shower in the en suite were excellent and the bed very comfortable.

I cannot think of anything to dislike.

Absolutely gorgeous farmhouse dating from the 15th century, very friendly and welcoming owners, lovely garden and an excellent breakfast (choice of full English, vegan and spicy Mexican - and the homemade marmalade was superb. I wish I'd though to ask if they sell jars of it.) A quirk of Yallands Farmhouse is that it is surrounded by a modern housing estate, but from our room - the Orchard Room, overlooking the farmhouse garden - you simply wouldn't know it. Turn the corner from the estate through the farmhouse gates, and you're in a little rural idyll. Facilities are very good, with a delightful dining room - the oldest part of the farmhouse - and a relaxing guest lounge, as well as a small but perfectly serviceable en suite shower/toilet. We stayed overnight to attend a family do on the other side of Taunton. It was a blazing hot June weekend, and the room was nice and cool. Our hosts had thoughtfully opened windows and put a fan in the room to make it very comfortable. We're already planning a couple of weeks in the south west next year just to give us an excuse to stop over at Yallands a little longer.

There is nothing to dislike. It was superb.

The Farmhouse itself is beautiful and the owners were lovely. Excellent breakfast and comfortable rooms.

The plumbing was interesting, pretty sure the whole house heard when I was having a shower, at least I could certainly hear someone taking a late night shower. The location, though in good proximity to what we came to see, seemed to be on a housing estate, which was as amusing as it was odd.

A superb halfway haven for people travelling from London area to the west country. Everything was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming. Excellent cooked breakfasts with home made marmalade an added bonus. The jacuzzi bath was an unexpected and welcome extra! The farmhouse is in a beautiful setting.

Everything perfect. No complaints.

The location is excellent and was surprisingly quiet, the hosts most welcoming and friendly. A good selection of breakfast items, cooked breakfasts were just lovely. The bedrooms were both very clean, with lots of attention to details, including those 'little extras' that travelers sometimes forget, such as cotton wool pads!! Thank you.

A great historic old farm house with all the facilities we needed for our short break in Taunton, very comfy bed and a very tasty full english breakfast ,but the best thing is the hospitality of the owners chris and Karen very lovely hosts and extremely helpful (ie safety pin )in every way thank you for our stay it was great 👍
