We (family of 7 adults and 2 young children) had a wonderful 2 night stay with Karen and Chris at this delightful farmhouse filled with character and history. Karen and Chris are so warm, friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Parking, WiFi, large comfortable en suite bedrooms, a lovely garden and outdoor seating and the most delicious freshly cooked breakfast topped off by Chris’s delicious home made marmalade made for the perfect stay. We will definitely be staying here again if we are in Somerset - thank you Karen and Chris for making our time with you so special and perfection every way

The property is well kept with character and charm. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and there was ample parking available at the property. I was really impressed with how comfortable the bed was and how powerful the shower was! It was a very pleasant and affordable stay.
I couldn't figure out where I was supposed to go to be greeted when I arrived so had to ask a guest who happened to be in the garden how to get the attention of someone to let them know we'd arrived. But other than that, everything was fab!

We received a warm welcome. The room was nice. The location of the property was ideal for our overnight stay before travelling to Devon the following morning. Breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. Our arrival was later than planned and our host gave us a very helpful suggestion of a nearby pub to get an evening meal.
The bed was a little uncomfortable, but one’s bed at home is always the comparison.

The farmhouse is a very attractive building in a quiet location yet within easy distance of Taunton town centre. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities I needed (tv, wifi/en-suite bathroom). Lots of choice for breakfast. The hosts are friendly and efficient. Parking and access was easy. Overall a very pleasant stay and value for money was excellent.
Nothing to dislike.

We were made so welcome by Chris and Karen. They have a lovely old farmhouse in the middle of a 1970s estate so very easy to get into Taunton. The breakfasts were good and filling. Room was a little smaller than we expected but we were not there much so it was OK. Next time we will book the deluxe double - and yes, we hope to return

It was a pleasure to stay in this historic house - the friendly hosts made us feel very welcome. Easy enough to find and sufficient private parking. Large bedroom with seating area - well furnished and attractively decorated with view over large garden. Good electric shower. Very good breakfast. Will be happy to return.
The steps and stairs might be too much for someone with limited mobility although there is one ground floor room available.

Friendly helpful who facilitated late arrival without fuss. Room was homely and comfortable not hotel chain type but with character. Nice little touches like a plug in night light and trouser press. Breakfast was really good with some interesting and unusual options available. The staff:owners are really keen that you have a good stay. Excellent for price.
Couldn’t get the TV to work but I’m sure if I’d arrived earlier I could’ve got staff to resolve so my bad.

Lovely farmhouse with an interesting history. Beautiful cozy room with lovely soft pillows and duvet, great shower and the room was unexpectedly big. The traditional English breakfast was really delicious and we had homemade, very tasty, marmalade on our toast. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We wanted to break our journey down to St Ives from Manchester and this location was perfect, just a few minutes off the M5. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Real value for money. Nice friendly welcome. Excellent full English breakfast with great coffee, and delicious homemade marmalade on toast! Would definitely book this again.

The cooked breakfast was absolutely superb. Very nice coffee in a cafetiere and there was lovely home made marmalade. I stayed in the Tudor Room which had a lot of genuine character The excellent modern lighting and good shower in the en suite were excellent and the bed very comfortable.
I cannot think of anything to dislike.
