Amazing location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and rooms were clean and comfortable.

We were on the second floor and the gym is above on the third. I believe there is a treadmill that was used and the noise of running came through the room quite clear and went on for about 20/25 mins. Was quite annoying. Ask to stay on the first, third or fourth floors if poss.

Facilities in our room with kitchenette wete good. Loved the balcony looking out on to garden and lounger chairs. Beds comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful but forgot to get instructions acted on, eg re housekeeping and sorting out beds. Jacuzzi was great. It was a large pillared cool pool with lots of jets and good cool off after sauna/steam room.

We had asked for two single beds but the bed was made up as double. As we arrived latish they said they would do that the next morning and we could use the sofa bed which they managed to find linen for.. The next day we came back after a day out to find the room the same and unmade, despite sign out saying please make up room. So we had to ask again and finally beds were sorted.

Beautiful characterful building with views over the bustling Flores with its quality shops and cafes or peaceful garden with refreshing little pool to the rear.

Absolutely nothing not to like.

Room was incredibly spacious and clean. Hotel is in a great location and very central. Bar and outside area was nice and a good price. Nice facilities and toiletries in the room.

We were told that the pool and spa was closed for maintenance during our stay which was disappointing and did not get a chance to use it.

Unfortunately, my son and I had a very difficult start to our stay, as I became seriously ill upon arrival in Porto and had to be hospitalized shortly after. I was traveling alone with my son, and in a very vulnerable and uncertain situation, the hotel staff truly stepped in. They took caring and attentive responsibility for my son and did everything they could to support and help him. Their kindness, helpfulness, and human approach meant the world to us during a very challenging time, and I am deeply grateful. It’s rare to come across such warm-hearted staff – they made a difference I will never forget.

Everything was fine.

The reception staff were very welcoming. The room we had was massive compared to many other hotel rooms. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable.

Only reason I gave a 9 rather than 10 is that the noises from the street kept us up for a long time, only died down closer to midnight.

The location is great. The spa facilities are small but good. The garden is a great place to escape to enjoy the view with a glass of wine or to eat breakfast. Perhaps the best is the value this hotel provides versus other places to stay on Rua das Flores

We noticed small spots in our room and other locations that showed some deferred maintenance. We stayed here 6 years ago. It seems the pandemic and the tourism economy have had an impact.

Luxurious property in the center of all action easy walk to activities restaurant sunset spot and river. One of the best looking properties I’ve ever stayed in my life probably… Breakfast delicious luxurious and good value fast prompt service. Maria front desk 5 stars. Helpful friendly went above and beyond her way to explain attractions and travel info.

Noisy around 7-8 am happened to be construction of the store across the street. Also stays noisy/action til 10 pm. Once at night every night British people passing by singing songs loudly or cursing/talking/laughing after midnight… didn’t the Queen teach them some manners?! I mean come on! All others keep it quiet! I’ll make sure to do the same if I ever pass by through England. Though no desire somehow… even locals in Lagos were mentioning how the Brits ruin the value with their behavior…

The location was perfect. Everything is around 10/15 minutes max walk away. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The room was very clean and the shower was great ! The hotel itself is very beautiful and the apartment was big with high ceilings.

The pillows were uncomfortable, they could definitely be improved. The room was not soundproof, you can hear every step from the apartment above and in the hallway, especially from the bedroom which disrupted our sleep almost everyday ( we stayed here for 9 days ). We had a terrace with our apartment, but on the first days of our stay we weren't really able to make use of it as it rained, so it would be good if there was a part of the terrace that was covered. The water in the spa area was cold which didn't allow us to fully enjoy the beautiful roman bath style pool.

A little jewel. The street entrance from R. Da Flores does not seem impressive. Pretty tiles, simple lobby and check in area. Our villa on the 4th level was close to perfect. A lovely and spacious garden in the interior courtyard was our sanctuary. Views of the Porto tiled roofs and the Cathedral. Breakfast and bar area comfortable. My traveling companion scheduled a massage at the spa which she said was great. The location was convenient to everything. The immediate area has restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. Shopping good. Metro and local buses within walking distance. Staff was so nice and always helpful.

Only two minor things. Room electrical outlets were abundant but not where they are needed, near the bedside or sofa. The bathtub/shower lacked a grab bar and was a bit slippery. The shower head itself would not be useable by anyone over 6 feet tall without removing the spray arm. So very minor in the scope of things, but something the hotel might look at.
