It was a lovely stay in a great location in Porto. The room was very nice and the breakfasts to go - were a nice treat. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The lock on the door came off - and we were lucky that we had some tweezers in our purse, if not we may not have been able to get into our place late at night when we returned from our outing. Thankfully we had a great response from the management.

Eduardo was awesome, always caring for our wishes and providing tips to the best restaurants in town. He was also very understanding to our specific breakfast wishes and made sure that they are fulfilled. The breakfast itself was also great, different breads, croissants, Marmelade, orange guice and meat/cheese, so everything you could wish for. The room (01) was spacious and well decorated, also had a separate kitchen and a small balcony which we very much liked. Also, air condition and heating was in place and already running when we were coming - along with a great wine to start the trip. All in all it was a beautiful experience!

Although we enjoyed our trip very much, few slight things could have been better: - The room itself is quiet regarding the city and street noises, but rather noisy if someone walks by on the stairs on the floor. I guess that's hard to come by since it's an rather old building, so you just go with it. - The room service had not cleaned up the room, we were only there for 2 nights so that was no problem, but for longer stays it could - The wifi sometimes worked not that great Apart from that it was a beautiful trip and we would still visit the Norte Soul again!

Spotlessly clean, well appointed and equipped apartment. Great - in the high temperatures - that the air conditioning had been used to make sure the apartment was a pleasant temperature as soon as we checked in. Well-maintained communal areas and made the most of some original features in the design/layout of the building. Good location to walk most places and easy access to transport including main train station/links to the airport. We were a family of four, including two teenage boys - the sofa bed and main bedroom were easily enough space for a short break. Two bathrooms were a boon. Lots of nice touches, coffee pods, washing pod, cheeky wee bottle of wine too!

Check-in was a bit annoying. Either give a code or meet at the apartments, don't give a code that doesn't work until you've met us at the apartment. On arrival though, staff were there quickly and were really helpful.

We stayed for 3 days, my husband, my 12 yo daughter and myself. Porto is pretty expensive in terms of rentals, so when I found this apartment for a decent price in the city downtown I didn't have high expectations. A day or two before the trip I got a welcome email with check-in instructions. We arrived really late, after midnight. The instructions were straightforward and we had no issues finding the key and the apartment. I was nervous that if we had issues then there'd be no one to talk to at night, but it all worked like a charm. The apartment was ready for us. It smelled good, the windows were open, so the air was fresh. It was an easy task to convert the couch into bed, fresh(!) linen was inside, it smelled so fresh and was good quality. There was a big bottle of water and a bottle of white wine in the fridge - oh thank you! It was so needed after a long late night flight! The kitchen has all you need - mugs, plates, silverware, a coffee machine, a kettle etc. There's also a washing machine and some laundry pods (!) and a dryer rack in the closet. The apartment isn't big, but it's functional in every way. The "garden" view is nothing special, but the apartment is very quiet despite being located on a busy street. The location is wonderful - right in the middle of all the action. Yet quiet enough because we had a garden view. A special shout-out to the management folks. Any request was answered quickly. We didn't know how to turn on the coffee machine and they came and explained. We asked for a late check out, and although somebody was supposed to check in right that afternoon, they let us check out at 12:30! We asked to keep our luggage after we checked out, the team helped us roll and store the bags in their office around the building. Thank you so much, guys, you've been extremely helpful and sweet.

Our apartment was on the 2nd floor (technically 3rd) with no elevator. A bit challenging with luggage. The wi-fi didn't reach the bedroom. We had to move the router to get it working. There was a low buzzing on off noise, especially noticeable at night, coming from some part of the building. It was pretty annoying, to be honest, but bearable.

Amazing location close to all main attractions of Porto - everything can be reached within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and the room basic but nice. The breakfast was very good and delivered to the door every morning. There's a coffee machine and fully equipped kitchen, also a complimentary wine and water were a nice touch. Very kind and responsive hosts. We had an appartment 07 at the top of the building so it was also very quiet during the night.

It's a historical building, so there's no lift (it wasn't a problem for us but it can be difficult for some to carry up the bags) also the wooden stairs were a bit slippery. The bathroom could be a bit updated or at least better maintained.

The hospitality was amazing! I was greeted by Hilde! He was so nice and has the most gorgeous eyes. But back to review he was very sweet and helped me to my room. I think it was amazing they had a map that highlighted must see places in Porto and Most were walking distance from this place or a very inexpensive Uber. I actually took the bus which was cool. The room was clean, bed was comfy, and the shower pressure was great! All important for a comfy stay for me. Breakfast every morning left at your door, was ok. They were prompt to respond and very sweet and helpful with ideas of things to do. I was traveling solo so it was much appreciated! I would definitely go back. They also give you a super convenient key code so you dont have to worry about carrying a key around that you might loose! Love that too

Its not much i didnt like. I would just note, if you are a person who uses wash cloths or bath cloths they do not provide but no big deal, they have bath towels and hand towels. And lastly be prepared to carry luggage upstairs. I pack a lot but I lucked out being on the 1st floor and Hilde helped me carry it up. There is really nothing bad to say about this place. It was perfect for my short stay

An amazing location just a short walk from a fantastic range of bars and restaurants as well as the river front. The apartment we had was huge with lots of room and a separate kitchen/living room. It included everything you could possibly need, including a washing machine which was a handy bonus. The staff were super helpful and met us at the property and then spent time talking us through a map that they had marked up with lots of recommendations of places to visit and answering our numerous questions. There was also a welcome bottle of chilled wine waiting for us!

There was nothing negative to say about our stay. A perfect visit from start to end.

Location was really near Sao Bento station, host was agreeable with a slightly earlier than 3pm check-in. There was both a free bottle of 1.5l water and green wine in the fridge to enjoy and it was very much appreciated. Host happily shared a list of things to visit and eat in Porto. Lastly, there was a luggage locker available to use upon request, and the locker was right beside my apartment unit on the 3rd floor. Just needs a one euro coin to operate, and saved me a lot of trouble and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my day before my scheduled train ride back to Lisbon.

Shower door was difficult to shut tight, as a result, water spills out and flood the toilet. There was too much water outflow for the mat to absorb as well.

We loved everything about our stay here. Eduardo was very accommodating and helpful from day one. We only stayed for two days and we wished we could've stayed longer but unfortunately we couldn't extend our stay as the place is understandably fully booked out. If you're considering staying here and it's available, book it! It's really well situated in the centre of Porto. Ten minute walk away from the promenade. And it's a really cosy and clean apartment. If we're ever back in Porto this is where we will stay.

It was awesome having a code to get into the building as well as a code to open the key box in the lobby. This is so helpful when you have multiple people in your party who may be returning to the apartment at a different time from the rest of the group. With this system, the key will always be either in the key lock box in the lobby or up in the apartment with the person(s) already home. No one ever need worry about being locked out! The apartment is located a short block and a half from the train station, and a short walk to the upper level of the famous Ponte de Dom Luis I on which you can stroll over the river to Gaia. The location of this apartment is PERFECT for walking just about everywhere in Porto.

Shower was a bit slippery. I let the management know and asked them to consider purchasing a rubber mat for the floor of the walk-in shower.
