Beautiful modern apartment located in a very old district. Staff attention to detail and helpfulness was great. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good quality crockery and cutlery, as well as kitchen appliances. Grundig blue tooth speaker was a nice surprise. If using Uber, get dropped off at Porto Cathedral to avoid getting lost in the maze of little alleys. Cars cannot drive up to the apartment.

You have to stand on a ledge below the window to get a view of the river. There is no view from the room if not standing on the ledge. The ledge is too narrow for a chair. This was disappointing.

Great little place in the old town. Great staff. You can’t drop off outside in a car, but make sure if you’re in a taxi, that they drop you by the cathedral nearby. It’s 2 minutes walk from there.

Bed was the width of the room with access on one side only, ie, tucked into an alcove [studio apartment]. This made it hot but there was a spacey fan which was needed all night. Early Nov. Wouldn't like it in Summer. Sitting chairs were hard.

Views, bed very comfortable , lovely breeze, well equipped kitchen, lots space. secure, High up in old town. Lots to eat nearby. Greta coffee in little cafe just below our window

Instructions on h9ow to get there by foot were inadequate. Please in future mention in blurb about arriving at top of hill, at the back of the cathedral , and then going down Albas street. We unfortunately came from the bottom and it was awful dragging the bags up hill over cobblestones. Back ache++++. From the top would have been much easier Barking dog nearby went all night one night. Hot water system low volume , so had to space out our showers.

The location is quaint and has the best feel of old city… the view from the window is beautiful! It’s so close to many attractions!

Great location as it is so near the cathedral but very quiet. The bells don't start until 9 am. The views from the top apartment are wonderful day or night. It has been modernised inside although the road dates from medieval times. Beds were comfortable and there were 2 toilets in our apartment. There is no microwave but it has a double hob and oven . The key access code allows you to arrive at any time so you don't need to worry about a plane being late. It is also under 10 minutes walk from Sao Bento station. It is easiest to find after heading up to the cathedral as that route is well lit if you arrive late.

The bed only has one bedside light and table which is difficult for the other person to read in bed. It would be great to get an extra light to fix to the shelves next to the vacant side. Otherwise everything was very good.

The location was absolutely perfect and the view was worth every penny! The location was perfect and we found it was a good distance from the main tourist area but close enough to pop in and out of the apartment if we needed to. The reception team organised a taxi for us back to the airport and this was absolutely superb. It was reliable and prompt. We have no doubt we will return to the property. Amazing!

We were offered your opportunity to book a taxi to the property but as we were unsure of arrival time, we used an Uber, which was a big mistake. The driver literally dropped us right in the centre of town with two suitcases and finding our way up to the property was difficult ……. not to mention the fact that we went the wrong way and encountered several flights of steps. If we had used a normal taxi service, then this would not have happened. After an exhausting search we then arrived at the property but they allocated us the wrong room on the lower ground floor. Unfortunately this meant we’d carried the suitcases down stairs in error …..and we’d need to carry them back up! However the new room was quickly allocated by the property reception team and the room was absolutely amazing!

The location and staff are excellent. A little tricky to get to by taxi but it is worth thr effort. It is a great historic location...easy access to riverfront and the sites of Porto. Our room had a great view as well.Staff arranged an early morning ride to the airport which worked out great. Would stay again. We stayed a week and had a leaning half way through. I Wish there was a fan in the bathroom to help with humidity

Great location, it was a beautiful apartment. Had everything you needed and really spacious! The view from the balcony was incredible. You are next to the Porto cathedral so there is music from there with street artists performing but this was sound proof as soon as you shut the balcony doors/windows. The views just outside the apartment are also incredible. We could check in early too which was really useful.

Porto has a lot of incline, so something to be mindful of with this apartment. Loads of different ways to walk to the apartment with a lot of hills - but that should be something you should be used to in Porto.

This was a great location next to the Porto Cathedral and Bishop's Palace! We walked everywhere, but the train station was a close option if desired. The view from the apartment was fantastic! Windows open for fresh air and city sounds. Closed windows provided peace and quiet. (Our unit was on the 3rd story.) All the modern conveniences were available in the unit. There's a clothes washer and dryer available for the apartments on the lower level. Our hosts were wonderful and assisted us with dinner recommendations and reservations, and breakfast orders. The building is on the oldest street in Porto which gives one the essence of the old world city. Because of the historic location, Uber/Bolt pickups and drop-offs are not available directly in front of the unit. It's not really a problem because it is very easy to walk to a pickup spot by the Cathedral Square.

This is probably not a good location for people who are mobility challenged. If you drive to Porto, parking is only available in paid public lots which requires a short walk with luggage to the apartment location.
