Beautiful modern and minimalist style. The staff was extremely nice, helpful, well-mannered and courteous. I loved my room and all the bells and whistles. Centrally located.

My room was super noisy, but I was a corner room facing the loud street. I probably could’ve asked to be moved, but I didn’t feel like it and I really loved my room. But… it was super loud and loud til very late. I wore ear plugs and was fine for the most part. I would suggest for them to double pane the windows, we have that in America and it’s not that expensive to do and can install easily from the inside.

Perfect location in the old town, with a view of the cathedral from our room and easy walk to the train station. Definitely took advantage of the spa access that was included with the room and loved the unique facilities. Appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was very spacious. Stayed over a weekend but didn’t have any problem with noise from the street reaching the room. Would also highly recommend having lunch at the hotel restaurant and getting the tasting menu, which was delicious and a good value for what you get.

There were a couple of design flaws in the bathroom in our room, namely the location and orientation of the toilet paper holder (super awkward and inconvenient) and the toilet seat and lid combo, which didn’t seem to actually fit the toilet and thus was continually shifting and sliding (loudly) whenever being used - really annoying.

The suite was excellent with lots of space. The style was industrial (room 100) which I like. Although the bedroom had no window it didn’t feel cell-like. Bathroom was huge and well equipped. We ate dinner in the restaurant, sitting just around the corner. Our waitress Agatha, was great! The food was outstanding (we had the entrecote steak). We also enjoyed breakfast which was also of the highest quality. Our favourite things about the hotel were the location and reception staff who problem solved and always greeted us with a smile.

Great location and nice clean rooms. Spa was lovely but needs some improvements.

Fire alarm went off several times on our first night for long periods, which I understand is there for our safety but no form of apology or explanation the next day. Spa is great but does not have a pool, just a walk through plunge pool which needs some form of handrails as it is an accident waiting to happen. Pillows were very flat, which some people would hate they should make it easy to change these to your preference as a 5 star.

Having recently stayed at Hotel Pod Roza, I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. As Krakow’s oldest hotel, Pod Roza offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern luxury that is simply unmatched. The elegant, classicistic interiors, combined with the warm and welcoming atmosphere, create a truly unforgettable ambiance. Spacious Accommodations and World-Class Amenities The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The bathrooms are particularly impressive, featuring high-quality fixtures and luxurious toiletries. One of the highlights of my stay was the spa. As a guest, I had complimentary access to the spa facilities, which include a Finnish sauna, a steam room, and heated stone loungers with soothing massage jets. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's restaurant is a Michelin-starred establishment, offering a truly exquisite dining experience. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Unparalleled Location Situated in the heart of Krakow’s Old Town, the hotel is just steps away from the main market square and other major attractions. This central location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Exceptional Service The staff at Hotel Pod Roza were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable hotel experience in Krakow, I highly recommend Hotel Pod Roza. With its rich history, luxurious amenities, and prime location, it's the perfect place!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We arrived quite late to Florianska Street which is very touristy and always seems to be packed. I was a little anxious but then we stepped into the beautiful calm oasis of the Hotel Pod Różą. The welcome we were given was so charming that it set the tone for our whole trip. The rooms are lovely. There is everything you need and they are full of things you didn’t even know you needed! They are quite austerely furnished in dark woods in a rather masculine style. No fancy frilly cushions you don’t know what to do with but clean lines, very functional and rather beautiful as well. We were staying in single rooms on the 3rd floor and the beds and furniture are Biedermeier style and very comfortable. The beds seemed a lot bigger than regular single beds. We all remarked on it. The air-conditioning works perfectly which was a boon in 31° heat. The rooms have parquet flooring, high ceilings and are really well lit. I have a sight problem and I dread staying in hotels because they usually have ‘atmospheric’ lighting and are so dimly lit that I find it hard. I usually take extra lighting with me but no need this time because the lighting is perfect. You can have it as dim or as bright as you want. I did not use the spa because the lighting is so low and it makes it a hazard for me but my companions did and liked it, saying it was small but very nice. The breakfast is really good. Simply don’t recognise the few negative comments I read in other reviews which had worried me a bit. First you get a tray of ‘appetisers’ and home baked bread. There are things like tapenade, mortadella ham and cheese, yoghurt with granola, houmos, tomatoes sprinkled with chives, herring with onions, tartare of salmon and then you can choose one hot item from the menu: everything from Polish sausage, Eggs Benedict to a delicious mushroom & Gruyère omelette or bacon and eggs with caramelised onions.

There is genuinely nothing. I just can’t fault it.

Location was amazing. I don’t think you could get better for being right next to the main square. The spa, although very small was super relaxing. Staff were very nice. Really lovely stay. Room 410 was big and amazing bathroom.

The bed was big, however the mattress was too small for it so they had put a duvet or two at the end to make it fit. The hotel had told me it would be 150zloty for the transfer but the driver charged me 180 which grated on me. Hotel maybe should have advise I download the Bolt app which is like Uber which I did for the journey back to the airport and it cost 39zloty.

- The location could not be better - The staff is amazing and is very helpful. The hotel is beautiful and is a two minute walk to everything. I was on the top floor and it was relatively quiet from outside noise. The bar and restaurant are also lovely. Despite booking the hotel because of the spa, I got wrapped up in the adventures of krakow and never made it to the spa. But I did tour and it is as beautiful as the pictures.

Big one for solo travelers- there is no secondary lock on the door. No pad lock. No latch. It’s an out swing door and key card only. I almost changed hotels because of this fact alone but felt safe enough to stay. If I were to do it again, despite all of the above, I wouldn’t stay here solo because of this factor. I hope they add a secondary lock.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel located right in the heart of the old town in Krakow, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful streets and historical sites, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent spa situated in an ancient basement. The atmosphere was serene and inviting, offering a unique blend of history and relaxation. The treatments were top-notch, allowing me to unwind after a day of exploring. Additionally, I was impressed by the quality of the toiletries provided. The shampoos and shower gels were exceptional, adding a touch of luxury to my daily routine. Overall, this hotel combines a fantastic location with wonderful amenities, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Krakow.

Perfect location, just a few steps away from the main square, with many restaurants and cafes nearby. In a walking distance to the railway station and all key Krakow attractions. The room was fantastic - clean, spacious and elegant, perfect for a romantic stay. There was a delicate smell of old wood furniture and floors that reminded me of a castle. From our window, above the rooftops of other buildings, we could see the Mariacki Church towers and we could hear Hymnal very well through open windows. An extraordinary experience. The bed was big and comfy, although better pillows wouldn't hurt! The SPA was very nice, we had it all to ourselves in early afternoon for over an hour which was an additional bonus. The only additional thing it could have is a swimming pool or at least a jacuzzi but I appreciate the space is limited. The SPA looks magical, with the stone walls and the high ceiling and the dimmed lights. The herbal scent from the SPA spread across the hotel - in a good way :) The staff was super polite, we felt properly pampered.

There was some noise outside the room very early in the morning, at 5am, as if someone was carrying something heavy up the stairs, for 10+ minutes. Whilst I'm not particularly annoyed it happened, I think the doors could do a better job at reducing the noise - both ways.
