Clean and relatively close to the airport

The staff didn’t respond to my message asking how to get to the property and didn’t provide any instructions on booking so I paid €10 for a short taxi ride to the hotel.

The location is unbeatable—just a few minutes’ walk from the terminals, which made my arrival and departure incredibly smooth. Perfect for travelers with early flights or late arrivals. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the soundproofing was surprisingly effective given the proximity to the airport. I barely heard any noise from planes or traffic. Staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. I appreciated the early breakfast option, which had a good variety of fresh items—ideal for catching a morning flight.

The only minor downside was that the restaurant menu felt a bit limited in the evening, but there are other dining options nearby if you're willing to explore. It’s not luxurious, but it delivers exactly what you need for a stress-free stay.

Nice quiet room and reasonably comfortable bed. Room was clean and hotel is very conveniently located near the Hamburg airport and with good bus connection towards downtown. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The mattress was a bit 'worn out' so that some areas were too soft and the rooms could do with a few more hangers and opportunities to put away clothing when staying longer than just a single night. Also, there is no kettle on the room, so if you want to make your own hot drink (tea or coffee), you have to go to the reception to ask for hot water.

The room as clean, just enough space for comfort, the bathroom was also enough space to be able to move around comfortably. Most importantly, the room was clean. Convenient location close to the airport, the lobby area is tastefully decorated, the staff receptionist was super friendly and welcoming, the hotel is located in a nice area, not much to within walking distance to grab a bite, but that is also a bonus since the sidewalks are clean and no city characters I endured while staying near central station during my stay in Germany at different cities.

Not that it was a big dislike, but the listing said I was getting a king size bed and ended up with a queen size. Upon carefully checking my booking confirmation, I found that the room selection stated King Bed but the description stated queen, perhaps this is something that needs to be corrected on the website.

Clean, nice breakfast, helpful staff

When we first arrived we were very tired from a big day. I tried to speak German because I wanted to try my German as I have few opportunities in Australia to speak German. The receptionist said "Shall we continue in English?" when I was giving details. I said I didn't mind either way. However, rather than speaking a bit more slowly in German, she simply pressed on in rapid German and then when I didn't understand, reverted to English. It would have been more respectful for her to acknowledge my attempts to speak German and had patience with that. I thought she was quite rude and abrupt.

I love Motel One and we stay in their hotels whenever we travel... this one was well located and they have a parking lot that you pay for at reception (i think 18€ per day?). The breakfast is good as always but in this hotel the choice of food was a bit limited, for example they have fried eggs at Motel One Berlin and here we only had a boiled egg. Apart from that, the room was really clean and comfortable. The bed is super nice and the shampoo/soap smells amazing.

The prices at the bar, at the reception, are really too much! You would pay that much in a fancy bar in the city center. The TV doesn't have a classic QR code/chrome cast system, but something old-fashioned, so we didn't manage to connect our phone to watch Netflix. Even though i love their hotels and breakfasts - the price for 1 persons breakfast is a bit too much for that what is offered (still much better from other hotels in that price range.)

We had a very quiet room and comfy bed and generally slept very well during out stay at Motel One Hamburg Airport. The room and shower were clean and staff were extremely friendly - for example, on the day of our check-out, they offered us free coffee while we waited for our ride to arrive. The location was very convenient for us, as it was walking distance from the airport and also provided us with good bus routes into the city and to family living nearby.

A bit more options to hang clothing (like a small closet or additional hangers) would have been good as we found it difficult to properly manage our clothing (in particular after rainy days with wet clothing). Also, while we could get hot water for a tea or coffee at the reception, having a kettle in the room would be much more convenient in particular during the night.

Room is small but the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very serviceable. The breakfast is excellent and runs until quite late, as does the checkout at midday. The position is ideal for the airport, which must be the motel's primary function and so the staff were friendly and efficient with an ever-moving clientele. The parking was also very straight-forward and reasonably priced. Bed and breakfast plus parking represented very good value for money this close to the airport.

Everything was perfect, we arrived quite late and the staff were so friendly and kind that they made a stressful day better. The room was lovely, clean, nothing at all negative to say. The bed was super comfortable, even with my 6 year old wriggling around next to me all night, the shower was brilliant. No complaints at all, would definitely stay here again as an airport hotel, the airport was a lovely (in the sunshine!) walk, no more than 10-15 mins along greenery rather than the main road next to the airport entrance. Amazing check-out time as well, makes you feel like there is no rush. Really enjoyed it! Thank you so much!

Excellent location walking distance to visit family 10 min., which was the main purpose of our trip to Hamburg, and walking distance to the airport 15 min. through the forest. Couldn't be better. Also convenient for bus, U Bahn and S Bahn to Hamburg-Mitte. The room was modern and very clean. Never had to wait for elevators, which is unusual in many hotels these days when you travel the world. The staff was also very service minded.
