Breakfast was fantastic, we had dinner on site too however the restaurant was closed both days so we had to eat in the bar. The pillows were the best I have had in a hotel!
The only odd thing was the room layout, you walk in and there was a big wardrobe right away, seemed odd to have that right in the doorway, but that is really nitpicking.

Location was good, around 10 minutes' walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and next to the National Express station. Easy access to the local bus service. The room was a good size for 2 people and it was good that the window could be opened to allow fresh air in. The bathroom was a good size with a decent shower and lighting. Breakfast was good, it was great that there were veggie/vegan options ready in the hot buffet, saved me asking for the kitchen to make them, which is normally the case in other hotels. The daily complimentary water was a nice touch as many hotels have stopped this too.
The room TV didn't have access to connect HDMI cables, which was inconvenient as I was working from the room one day of the stay. The shower needed some grout maintenance and the water pressure from the shower and sink wasn't that good. Housekeeping didn't clean the room until we came back from an afternoon out and chased reception to find out why they didn't come despite us leaving the sign on the door to clean the room - even then, they just rinsed the used coffee cups and spoons - I would have expected these to be properly washed or replaced. The tea/coffee was not topped up either, there was not enough provided for our full stay.

Great location in the heart of Manchester. Clean and modern rooms with good facilities. Comfortable beds and quiet particularly on the upper floors.
The air conditioning is on a timer, meaning it switches itself off after 90 minutes or so - so you end up waking up hot multiple times throughout the night. Really disappointing given the price paid. Housekeeping when staying multiple nights don’t make up your room until very late afternoon, often 4-5pm just as you’re arriving back from a day out wanting to freshen up. I have stayed multiple times and these are two things that put me off staying again.

Everyone was very helpful, and always ready to help. I was in room 1108, on the 11th floor. The lifts was well maintained, and very easy to understand. The room itself, was very homely, and extremely comfortable, with all the facilities you can ask for in a room. I was able to play my music, without having to disturbed the next room. Even though it was it was in the heart of Manchester, I felt well insulated from traffic noise. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a great night sleep, on my 2 night stay over, with no outside noise to disturb me. The set up for breakfast, in the morning, was a buffet, and you have a great selection to choose from, including Vegetarian stuff. Overall very happy with my stay, and will be back again.
There nothing here I didn't like.....it was perfect

Very central Easy check in and checkout Lovely hotel with nice bar area/ gym / comfortable beds Air conditioning Tea and coffee and water in the rooms Bath and shower was nice to have First hotel I’ve stayed in that had a small recycling bin
The hotel should remove parking from their listing - as this is misleading as they have none. We parked 5 minutes away in an NCP that did early bird for 12 hours and then moved onto the street which was free after 8pm. We couldn’t seem to control the a/c as it seemed to be set by the hotel and kept switching off randomly. I could find an area just to sit and work quietly but maybe I missed it.

The location was fantastic, really close to some great sightseeing locations, public transport and great food and restuarants. The customer service was good, really quick and efficient. The rooms had a lot of powerpoint sockets with usb ports - makes it so convenient for international travellers who don't have adapters on hand.
The first room we checked into was damp near the hallway in front of the bathroom. We initially thought it was a plumbing issue. It wasn't very pleasant, but we were swapped over to a different room immediately. The shower looked aesthetically pleasing, but I suspect its design is part of the reason the first room had wet carpet. The shower screen does not provide enough coverage, so there was a lot of splashback outside of the shower if you weren't careful. There was also a little bit of black mould in the grout corner, but otherwise, it was fine and clean enough.

The location is very good, you can easily walk to all the important landmarks of the city. The area is very busy, even at 4AM there were many people on the street enjoying the end of their night out. The rooms are well equipped and modern and the gym in the building was well equipped and empty in the morning.
The breakfast did not have too many choices besides the Traditional English Breakfast and the staff was very busy, so there was big waiting time to find a table and to restock what was already missing from the buffet. We also had dinner on one of the evenings in the hotel and I would not recommend that - I think the waiters were a little rude and inpatient.

We walked into the hotel foyer and was greeted by a lovely gentleman. He asked if we needed any help checking in and also advised us of the best way to travel to the concert we were attending. He was so friendly and helpful. Our check in was for 3 o clock, however we got an email to say that we could check in early which was very handy because we arrived in Manchester earlier than expected. The hotel was clean and supplied all the facilities needed. We will be booking to stop here again.
The only thing I would comment on was the hand soap dispenser lid had broken so it was hard to get the soap out.. But that's just being picky I couldn't really fault the hotel
