Very new and modern. Lovely air conditioned room and ideal for an airport overnight stay.

Bit apprehensive before arriving as to whether I would be able to find it okay as Google Maps seems to show it as Novotel when you use the walking mode. Must admit I am still confused as to whether the establishment is Ibis or Novotel or both but I spotted the building in the distance as bus arrived then found a couple of location signs along the way. Check in assistant was very direct and hardly made eye contact. Appeared distracted with another staff member monitoring the movements of another guest. Would be helpful if there was a condominium in room as I ended up going back to airport terminal for a meal and whilst there received an email promoting the facility.

The Ibis Styles was a pleasant surprise following our long haul international flight. We had a late arrival (almost midnight) and early connecting flight (6.20am) & we’re looking for somewhere inexpensive to sleep a few hours. Although the motel offers a convenient shuttle we were able to walk from our terminal to the motel & back to the terminal the following morning. The staff were so friendly & welcoming & made the check in process seamless & stress free. The room was lovely, bed was extremely comfortable & amenities fantastic. Our only disappointment was that our time here was so short. We will certainly utilise the Ibis Styles for accommodation at Melbourne airport in future.

Absolutely loved this hotel and I would go as far to say it is the best traveller hotel I have stayed at anywhere in the world. All you could need was located right in the hotel. Everything was thought of in the room for business/leisure travel. Tea/coffee facility, ironing board, iron, makeup mirror, desk space. Rooms are new, very nicely decorated and furnished. I had a cool view of the airport runway through a fully glassed wall. The convenience to the T4 car park is so handy. Just cross the road and the hotel is just there. Likewise cross the road and the airport terminal is right there. Very nice dining choices for any budget and taste. Pub style restaurant or finer Italian restaurant and trendy bar area. The coffee and lunch in particular the freshly made salads at the ground floor cafe was delicious. The Aerofoil workspace located in the hotel was perfect for me to work during the day before my flight and is very stylishly designed. Monitor provided on desk space which was so great and complimentary tea/coffee if you don’t want to buy from cafe. I also loved the self serve check in which was so quick and easy.

The guy checking us in initially told us there was no shuttle back to the airport in the morning because of road works. We had golf bags and regular bags so this would have been a big problem for us. Luckily I overheard someone else who wanted to arrange a shuttle back to the airport at the same time and this was all ok for them. It turns out the guys had the wrong dates. But nonetheless, we booked this hotel knowing we could access the free shuttle. I would have been very cross if we were not told we couldn’t access the free shuttle at the time of booking.

Called for the shuttle but the Shuttle was unavailable when we arrived at the airport at 8:30pm but it’s just a Short 10min walk, it was a bit confusing but just walk towards T4 then keep walking straight past the long term carpark then you will see the building on your left cross at the pedestrian lights and your there. All nice and flat easy with wheeling suitcases. Nice clean rooms, Bed was comfy Restaurant on ground level is upper class Italian with high prices. But stays open till 10pm which was great for those late flights. Food tasted good but not the price tag that went with it. The discounted buffet breakfast was $20 down from $40 the breakfast isn’t worth anymore than $20 at the same restaurant. See reception for the discount vouchers. Will I stay there again yes I would.

The hotel is really new & great value for money. It was super clean, the bed really comfortable & bathroom well stocked. Right outside there is a construction site but we didn’t hear a single noise as the windows are double glazed. There is a wellness centre & gym but our stay was really short & I didn’t get a chance to experience a massage or facial. A restaurant & bar are on site. When I asked about the breakfast at check in, I was told it was $25pp. We knew we wouldn’t get money’s worth so decided to just stop in but not prepay for brekky. There was plenty of choice & we saved $$. The man on the desk at check in was very friendly & helpful & upgraded us which was nice.

A true airport hotel - 5 min walk on formed path to the terminals from the suburban bus station under the carpark near Rex terminal.. We caught the 901 bus from Broadmeadows and the hotel is a 2 min walk under cover in the opposite direction to the terminals.The price was realistic- let's hope it doesn't go up after the hotel " honeymoon period" Our queen room was comfortable enough but not huge. We had a restful sleep .The downstairs bar is a beautiful space but drinks are expensive. Have already recommended Ibis Styles to friends.

A room set up for 2 should have 2 chairs. A very light blanket as an alternative to the doona would help guest comfort.

The ultimate proximity to the airport - literally across the road! Perfect for a late arrival flight from Darwin. Check-in was one of the fastest we have experienced thanks to pre-booking and pre-payment. All this, at 1 pm, was very much appreciated. Despite being at the airport, the rooms are very quiet we did not hear a sound outside (except for the roadworks just below our window in the morning but by then it was time to wake up anyway). The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Perhaps a suggestion might be an extra blanket and pillow to be available in the wardrobe.

Everything was very good. We will certainly be back if ever in Melbourne.

A very comfortable room with perfect light-blocking blinds for our layover (we did not have time to enjoy the facilities but the lobby and restaurants looked inviting). A large comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. TV monitor shows updated departures. Hotel shuttle to/from terminal is available free of charge. When you arrive, call the hotel to be picked up from your terminal. Shuttle back from hotel to terminals departs each 20min in the morning, I booked it upon arrival. It was perfect for our layover purpose.

The hotel is quite new so everything looks nice and fresh. There is no phone in the room, everything has to be handled via TV. As is often the case, the shower door would benefit from insulation so the water does not leak onto the bathroom floor.
