The BNB hosts, Maz and Alan, were welcoming and helpful, as well genuinely interesting people. The tropical fruits breakfast was an experience in itself, and we got to try a few fruits we’d never even heard of, let alone tasted, plus a few of our favourites. In addition to this, the homemade muffins and yogurt were delicious, easily better than the shop’s stuff. Beyond the food, the surrounds are quite beautiful, with a pool, tranquil tropical gardens and a selection of different seating areas, depending on the placement of the sun, shade or transient fengshui. The interior is eclectically decorated, in a good way, almost like a personal museum. The room was comfortable and tidy, and the bathroom clean and spacious. The BNB is not far from Palm Cove, although we preferred to take the bikes the other direction along the beach path, which is less busy and goes a lot further. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d happily return here.

Precisely everything is perfect! The house is spacious but cozy at the same time. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast is interesting with all the tropical fruits some of which we had never seen before. The owner are a beautiful couple. They are so lovely and treat the guests as family. This is a B&B that you don't want to leave. They are worthy of 100 out of 10!

There's not such a thing that we don't like.

My wife and I spent a very comfortable night, and then the following morning breakfast, with Alan and Maz at their very welcoming home. The proximity to the beach was refreshing, our room was comfortable and clean, and there was an inviting pool to use too (though we did not have time). Breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious (thanks Maz!), and we enjoyed Alan's friendly banter of his family and life, backed by a 'tour' of his amazing memorabilia collection. We certainly enjoyed our brief visit, thanks!

Maz and Alan were fantastic hosts and went above and beyond. They were incredibly helpful, tending to every little issue we had, Alan fixed my sunglasses and Maz provided aloe Vera for mosquito bites. Maz homemade breakfast is delicious and for Easter there were some additional Easter eggs. The house is unique and full of treasures which Alan is happy to explain. The room is equipped with everything you need and even has basic cooking ingredients and shower gel etc. It felt like a lot more than just a place to stay! Great host, my wife and I were made to feel like family and those breakfasts. Each day Maz served up a selction of tropical fruits, homemade yoghurt (the wife wants me to buy a machine to make her own. Thanks maz...) You are only 300 metres to Clifton beach and we were able to take leisurely strolls along the beach to Palm Cove to have a sunset dinner, whilst listening to the waves roll in. I can not recommend Suth Pacific Bnb highly enough. If the rating system was out of 5, I would give it 6 and if out of 10, I would give it 11.

There was nothing we could fault.. I tried, honestly, I tried, but could not find anything to fault. Nothing! I guess if I tried, the only fault would be not booking more time to be able to soak up the ambience of Clifton beach and its surroundings.

The best stay we could have imagined - the hosts Alan and Maz; location; room; breakfasts; conversations; nature walks nearby. The B&B home was set in serene, suburban yet rainforest like surroundings. Our room was large and comfortable in every way. Wonderful breakfast that included exotic, delicious tropical fruits. We felt three evenings is a lot less conversation time with Alan who has a world of diverse stories and information to share. We intend to go back in future and stay with them again.

We loved our stay at the South Pacific B&B. We were welcomed warmly by Maz after our long international journey. Their place is a 3 minute walk to a beach and waterfront path, which we enjoyed several times, as well as a short walk or drive to Palm Cove. The room and private bathroom were comfortable and had everything we needed, with a sea breeze and plenty of light and room to move about. The back patio and pool area were gorgeous -- and a perfect place to enjoy my early morning coffee, which was provided in the room. Finally, the breakfast was, in my daughter's words, "one of the best I've ever had," with homemade yogurt, muffins, a platter of local fruits, and a selection of cereals, juices, and coffee or tea. Fortunately, we will be returning next week for another night before we depart from this stunning part of Queensland.

Very friendly and attentive hosts. Beautiful setting out the back overlooking garden for breakfast. Tropical fruit at breakfast was delicious with variations each morning. The room had everything we needed including sunscreen and even a beach bag, Maz thought of every possible thing a visitor may need. She also gave excellent recommendations abut the best options for outer reef day trips.

This bed and breakfast is located right on the beach, but a fair bit outside of Cairns proper. You'll be wanting a car if you plan to go into Cairns, but if you want to just bum around on the beach/the property you won't need one. There is a small little resort area about a 15 minute walk up the beach where you can go for dinner, and the beach walk is really lovely and romantic. Walking distance from a small shopping center with a grocery store as well in the other direction. Breakfast was excellent too, and Maz is great about accommodating dietary restrictions if you let her know in advance.

The homemade yogurt and muffins for breakfast including all types of fruit that I have never heard of. Also the bed is huge and the place is very clean and well looked after. Maz and Alan are amazing hosts both. Stayed for my Ironman Cairns and they were very accommodating to my need. The area was stunning next to the beach including a direct trail into Palm Cove.
