The attitude of staff, excellent breakfasts, sensible approach to room service and energy saving as a result.

Duvets are too hot for me, so I take my own cotton sleeping bag liner. The level of lighting in rooms is poor, and is so in most hotels regardless of energy saving. I found it almost im[ossible to read , and there was insufficient light for me to clearly see and handle objects on the surfaces, and especially in my case. Along with many other guests over 60yrs old, I have Macular disease in both eyes and require much brighter lights, and clearer printing, than most hotels have.

The location was superb. You could easily walk to the major landmarks in the city centre of Stavanger. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of food, vegetables, and fruit options. Complimentary coffee and iced water were available 24/7. The room was of a decent size with a double bed and a sofa. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The best of all was the friendly and helpful bareception staff!

My room faced the courtyard, which made it quiet but also very dark since I had to close the curtains to avoid being seen by other hotel guests across the room. The lowest temperature setting on the air conditioner was 19 degrees Celsius, and the bed was not directly beside the open window, so it was a bit warm for my preferred room temperature.

We stayed in the Comfort Hotel Square in Stavanger for one night as part of our Norway trip. The bus service in Stavanger is very good so were able to get a bus from our ferry into the centre and just a short walk to the Hotel which is just above the Old Town area. We had a small double room with excellent ensuite shower room. There was plenty of room for our gear and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful at all times. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of hot/cold options. Again the reception supplied hot water/milk to make tea in our room. Great location with short walk down to the harbour and into town. Public bus service again is easy to manage to get to airport. We would have no hesitation in staying at the Comfort Hotel Square again. Many thanks!

Staff were always helpful, whether it was about taxis, finding things in town or certain foods. Breakfast was amazing, i'm still not over how good the chia pudding was! The place was spotless, comfortable, quiet enough for rest, but close enough to the town centre to reach anything on foot in a few minutes.

We really heard the lift going up and down, made quite a bit of noise, but got used to it.

Our stay at Comfort Hotel Square was comfortable and enjoyable, with large and clean rooms offering a great experience for our visit. The hotel's location made it convenient to access the city center and cruise terminal, while its friendly staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast was good, and the underground public parking offered ample space and convenience. Overall, our experience was positive at this Stavanger hotel.

It was a very convenient place to stay. Very close to town and the station. It was very quirky (hipster) and a good area to socialize with a bar with tasty local beer.

In the bathroom there was not very much privacy, there's a piece of artwork in the room that comes away and you can see through a window into the bathroom. Hilarious, a bit weird or kinky...you choose. Anyway, it meant staying as a couple, if you need to go number 2, you may as well be in the same room doing so, so we used the toilet in the lobby.

Buffet breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious but one thing to note if you want a writing desk and all the other guff then this is not the hotel for you. Rooms are practical and for sleeping. Staff are out of this world as in Super Friendly and always happy to help.

From the train station Google maps sends you up some stairs if you have heavy bags this is challenging - might be useful to mention on your website that if you are walking from the station with heavy bags it is better to walk in front of the Radisson Blue and then turn left up the hill.

Close to the city center, hotel bar open at night, very friendly personnel. Public parking with charging spots under the hotel.

The breakfast wasn’t bad at all, but I’ve seen a bit more variety at other places. But it’s still nothing to complain about, the selection was good.

Great breakfast, kind staff, great location. Very central and easy to find. Great value for money in Norway. Highly reccomend!

The decor is a little bit odd, the faces on the hearboard a bit unsetlling, I think an update of the art could be great change, as I didn't love the presence of a monster like figure overlooking the room.
