Everything was fine and the bed comfortable. The hostess was really very helpful and kindly met us with our bags at the station upon our arrival and took us back there after our lovely stay. She kindly also offered to take us to the station when convenient but we did not take this offer up. Bathroom facilities were very good. Area was very quiet.

The garden view is limited and thus, should you return early, there is just terrestrial tv which can be viewed from the bed. The inclusion of a tv with catch up services would have been really useful given that, although you can see the garden, you don't really seem to be able to sit out in it so it would be helpful to have other possibilities. It is worth noting that the accommodation comprises a room and en-suite within an apartment and that this is within a larger apartment owned by the host - however, there is good privacy. Please note that I am British - not German!

The hospitality of our wonderful hostess. Comfortable bed, good shower. secure parking and central location in Truro. There was much to like.

The only crit .... the slow draining of the handbasin. I use a wet shave every morning and require a full basin of water.

I usually don't write any reviews but now I really have to. It is very hard to explain how wonderful our stay at Chy Bre was! Mary was the most helpful and kind person (and host) we have ever met during our travels. Everything was so perfect, comfy bed, big bathroom, amenities, location (close to the city centre and bus station etc.) and we were even given a ride from the station to the apartment with no extra cost! The room was cleaned everyday up to a very high standard and even our dirty clothes, which we had left to dry for the day, were washed, dried and ironed by Mary when we were out. I would suggest Chy Bre for everyone who is looking for a nice place to stay at Truro. Thank you for everything!!!!!

The property is ideally located within easy walking distance of Truro city centre. It also has the added bonus of free garage parking. Mary is an excellent host.

We liked every aspect of the property

Mary is an absolute pleasure of a hostess: kind, warm, welcoming and funny. She was responsive and informative, and even surprised us at the train station when we arrived! The room was perfectly sized for our 2-night stay, with all the amenities (and more, with biscuits, a selection of teas, and toiletries!) and sparklingly tidy. Mary clearly loves running this B&B and her passion shows in every detail. We did not partake in the breakfast – it's an extra add-on – but I'm sure it would have been delicious. Truro is a wonderfully walkable city, everything is within a 10-15 minute walk and Chy Bre is in a residential area about a minute from the centre. Plenty of shops and eateries explore in town, Truro Cathedral of course, and the train station is nearby for easy connection to other Cornish towns.

Absoultely fantastic all the aspects of our trip and stay in Truro. Mary picked up at the station and gave all the informations we needed. She's been very kind and friendly. She was perfect in all details and we enjoy our stay at Chy Brie very much

The location is great within easy walking distance into Truro - restaurants and shops but still in a very tranquil building/area. There is also great, safe underground parking which is invaluable in Cornwall. Mary is a wonderful, helpful and hospitable host and the room was very comfortable and very clean. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Lovely comfortable accommodation near Truro city centre. Mary was an excellent host recommending places to go and restaurants to try . ( Even picking us up and dropping us at the train station.)

The accommodation is a medium sized self contained room with double bed tv and en-suite bathroom situated within the hosts apartment but is private. Car parking is underground and the whole place is only accessible through a security gate to which you will be provided with a code. The continental breakfast was plentiful, though incurs a separate charge. Property was clean and very comfortable.

Nothing it was the best property we have ever stayed at in Cornwall.

Mary was a lovely host who was very helpful with suggestions where to dine and visit. The room was small but adequate and serviced daily. Secure underground parking was provided.
