Big comfy bed, quiet uncluttered room, lovely roof terrace. Free cold water on tap was much appreciated. Attractive communal space. The reception staff were great, very welcoming and helpful.

The location is good in terms of proximity to the city, and inside the hotel feels very safe, but the street it's on is quite down at heel.

Efficient processes, good vibe, relaxed and friendly. Cleaning staff always smiley :) Lovely coffee available free up to 11 am - with oat milk option - spot on! Decent-sized room and spacious double bed. Handy location- please do visit the Ludwig museum which is close by - and the cathedral is near too! Loved Cologne!!

What we didn’t like was far outweighed by what we did like, but…Close to station which is obviously handy but stinks of pee round there and you have to go through tunnels under rail track and roads to get to many cultural sights - a bit dingey. Off-hand attitude of staff member who was at reception desk was a bit unnerving, but didn’t last too long.

Super stylish and very nice clean hotel. Easily reachable from the central station. Supermarkets and eateries right there. Super nice view from the roof top, seeing the cathedral and main train station. Had a window view over the train tracks. But was aware of this when I booked the room. So I knew it might not be possible to keep the window open because of the noise. Two window glasses do the job though and earplugs help as well. So not a problem for me, although I am pretty sensitive to noise. A comfy big bed and a nice big screen to have a chill night in was definitely a plus. Lovely and good working shower. Simply a fan of the modern style of the hotel overall. A big colourful lobby to relax/be social and free water all day/night was definitely a plus too. The hotel staff was very friendly and easy to talk to.

Unfortunately my heating system didn't seam to work. It was very warm in my room and I couldn't manage to cool it down. Keeping the windows open at night, wasn't an option, because of the train tracks right there. I went to asked for staff assistance. The staff member showed me in person how I can turn it down and told me it seams to work. But unfortunately it didn't. At least I was able turn it off completely and kept the windows open for a bit to cool the room down from 24 degrees to be able to sleep. I was visiting by myself with a small suitcase, so the smaller room size didn't bother me at all. I actually enjoyed the cozy pocket size. Just be aware it's a pretty compact room and two people, who are travelling with more luggage might want/need a bigger room size.

We had a wonderful stay at the Urban Loft in Cologne. There were 5 of us, staying in 3 separate rooms and all were clean, modern and comfortable. We did not get the breakfast, but we used their free water station to refill our water bottles on our way out each day, which was nice. We had a 9 passenger "mini-bus" and had no problems parking in the hotel's small-ish garage which is located around the back of the building. The garage elevators take you to the ground floor just near the front desk which was really convenient! The hotel location is really nice, being about a 10-minute walk to the DOM and less than that to the main train station. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Cologne.

The showers, while clean and very modern, did allow a significant amount of water to go outside the shower due to the design of the shower ("open" concept). Not a huge issue, we just placed towels on the floor to keep the water from pooling.

The staff were amazingly nice, all 3 we encountered! Location was great, 10 min walk from the centre. Design is very comprehensive. Also, unlike most of these hotels downtown with cubicle-size rooms, the insulation actually worked, we couldn't hear any of the neighbours, no cardboard doors between rooms etc!

So on-site parking was easy, but there is no system to guarantee parking, even though parking is a listed, searchable feature of the property. This added quite a bit of stressful anticipation to an otherwise already full day drive, but ended up nicely. The negative part is the unplannability and uncertainty only.

Clean comfortable rooms that were enjoyable to be in. Staff were friendly and the location was great, walkable to the cathedral and main train station.

The rooms although stylish lacked some features that would have made it more comfortable, for example, there was no space for bags/suitcases and minimal shelf space, for two people who stayed for 7 days this made it cramped, also there was no hooks for towels in the bathroom and no counter space on the sink.

Great location for us to explore cologne. Ten minute walk from station and all the attractions. The location is quite "rough and ready" but we found it to have character and friendly and not unexpected for so close to a train station. Just mentioning this in case you're expecting a more up market area due to its central location. The shower as with other urban lofts we've stayed in is fab and the bed was very comfy. We also had a view of the cathedral from our window. Great stuff.

No kettle in the room, no massive issue but we do like to have one when possible.

The room was really cute and compact. Smart uses of storage, hooks, etc. It was a tiny bit expensive but I think it's because of the Christmas season. The area was great in terms of walking from the train station but we ended up Ubering home instead of walking because it seemed a tiny bit sketchy at night. It does look over train tracks but the double paned windows truly blocked out all of the noise.Small touches like a water station/coffee station were great + made our stay even nicer.

I was surprised to find that breakfast wasn't included in the bill, and it wasn't clearly mentioned that it would be an extra charge.

The location is great if you're traveling, it's a fun little street and right by the train station. I like the facilities like the rooftop terrace and the large lobby with plenty of seating and books. The rooms were really clean and the shower was hot and powerful. The staff were also all really nice.

The rooms are definitely klein aber fein. Not tiny by any measure but definitely on the smaller side. I also think (and this is common for many places now unfortunately) the breakfast is massively overpriced. €17 per person per night is crazy unless they offer a particularly fancy cooked breakfast (they don't.) At that price I'm always going to seek out a breakfast cafe and get a better meal for the same or cheaper price.
