Location, walking distance to everything, if tired, we were renting electric scooters and driving around, very close grocery stores, nice restaurants with terraces if walking a bit down closer to the gates. Free coffee 23:30 till 11:30, very nice.. Nice rooftop, 24/7 access, nice terraces. Very nice shower and soaps. Nice staff.

Hard bed, a bit small, 1 blanket for 2 people, the key was barely working for the elevators, had to change it twice, very annoying. Windows view towards the trains, i could wave to the passengers, i didn't mind since their sound insulation was awesome and barely heard them but somebody might keep that in mind., but it's definitely not shaking the walls and stuff. One more thing to consider, for 3 days i was paying for the coffee, grabbing one from the machine and going, but one time a lady didn't allow us to take the coffee ourselves and insisted on making it for us, which made us feel like we were some thieves or something. Guys, just make clear rules, whether we are allowed or not. Other than that, the staff was awesome and really helpful.

Big comfy bed, quiet uncluttered room, lovely roof terrace. Free cold water on tap was much appreciated. Attractive communal space. The reception staff were great, very welcoming and helpful.

The location is good in terms of proximity to the city, and inside the hotel feels very safe, but the street it's on is quite down at heel.

Location was great as only 10 minutes walk away from the cathedral and 3 minutes walk from the train station. Our walking tour started 1 minute up the road too so we were very happy with the location. The guy who checked us in and out at reception was super friendly and really helpful. The room was small (we actually booked the slightly larger basic room so dread to think what the smaller one was like) but very clean with basic toiletries (body wash and had wash only) which was fine. You can refill your water bottle all day/night and get free coffee up until 11.30am every day which was a nice touch.

Our room overlooked the street which was fine as it is nice to hear the everyday life passing underneath, but there is a problem with street people/drunks who could get quite vocal at times. The immediate area around the hotel felt a little unsafe due to this, but we encountered no problems. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been nice.

The best choice in koln to stay. We have 5 times that arrived to koln. We change this year to this hotel and was awesome. The facilities are totally new! Is awesome because you are to the side of the trains but the room are totally quiet. The bathroom is really nice. The design of the hotel is really lovely. The staff amazing, always help us. And the price is lovely. Near the train station. For us is a hotel that we always going to choice. Most of the hotel in koln are old or dont have the facilities of the urban loft!!! Our best hotel in our 23 days of trip! And the rooftop is an excellent view to take rest and a lovely beer.

The Hotel is in a great location very close to the Cologne Cathedral, with friendly staff and comfortable rooms with all basic amenities. The private parking is very convenient when visiting by car. The hotel is offering free drinking water the whole day and free coffee from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. every day

The price of full breakfast at 17 Euro/person is extremely high (In Germany you can have lunch for less). Also although the rooms are in general clean and well maintained, there are parts that are neglected. In the case of my room the curtains for example were dirty with visible stains.

Rooms were very clean and spacious and beds fairly comfortable. The hotel is modern and have all the modern requirements for a pleasent stay. Located close to the train station.

Not having tea, coffee or water in the rooms is unusal for a 4 star hotel. The bar was never really staffed and you did have to wait a while to be served. The showers were very powerful which was good but also flooded the bathroom if you weren't careful. Checking in took a really long time which after travelling all day isn't ideal. The area the hotel is in isn't the safest and even the waitress in a local restaurant told us it was a hotspot for drug and alcohol abuse.

Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Great WiFi - perfect for work. Free welcome beer. Fast checkin and checkout.

Overpriced breakfast (€17 and nothing fancy - cold scramble eggs - machine coffee). I had an ant invasion in my room! I did not take any food with me, I arrive around 22hs and went straight to bed. I went down next morning to have breakfast and when I returned they were everywhere, particularly on the bathroom floor and the stand below the TV. So maybe previous guests brought something in the room and it was not properly cleaned (just a guess because the room looked actually very clean)

The staff were accommodating and super friendly. They helped, answered questions, gave directions and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I have never seen a hotel prepare rooms early for guests and just ask them if they would like to check in and worry about their convenience. The location was excellent. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We were even able to walk to the zoo, it was 2.7 kilometres but we did it in under 30 minutes.

More selection at breakfast of fresh cut fruits perhaps. Other than that, breakfast catered to everyone's needs.

Comfy, clean!, good looking design. All very welcoming. As I asked, the guy in reception gave us a quiet room to sleep well. And he did. The room was very quiet. I didn't hear nothing during the night. No noise. In the morning I asked some questions about the city and the guys in the reception elaborated on everything with patience. From the roof we could see the huge church. See enclosed photos from the hotel. Location- close to the center. 15 min' slow walk from the huge church and 10 from nice restaurants.

The elevator- every time you use it, you have to use the keycard. This is irritating AF to reach it every time in the pocket. Coz you can't rise to floor 5 for example if you live in 3. For what? +if ppl from different floors enter the lift, you get mixed up. No fridge in the room. Good that I didn't order the breakfast. Looked too simple for the price. But I don't care about this. The view of the church from the roof was way smaller than expected from the photos on the site showing the view from the rooms. If it were important for me, I would be disappointed.

Efficient processes, good vibe, relaxed and friendly. Cleaning staff always smiley :) Lovely coffee available free up to 11 am - with oat milk option - spot on! Decent-sized room and spacious double bed. Handy location- please do visit the Ludwig museum which is close by - and the cathedral is near too! Loved Cologne!!

What we didn’t like was far outweighed by what we did like, but…Close to station which is obviously handy but stinks of pee round there and you have to go through tunnels under rail track and roads to get to many cultural sights - a bit dingey. Off-hand attitude of staff member who was at reception desk was a bit unnerving, but didn’t last too long.
