very close to the central train/bus station and shopping district, but not on a crowded, noisy street. it was very clam and quiet. breakfast was superb! wifi was working fine. spacious room. friendly staff.

room temperature could be a little higher, since during my stay the outside temperature was between -8 and -2 degree. because window could not be open, there is fresh air blower in the room, and it causes wind. when the room temperature is low, the wind produced by the blower is uncomfortable. apart from that, there was a very long hair on the bed. i think it belonged to one of the house-keeping ladies. maybe it would be useful to wear bonnets to prevent such unpleasantness.

Excellent location - in the very center of Gothenburg, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, shops - for those interested in shopping. Public transport stops are also over a hundred meters away, but we went everywhere on foot, because the city is very beautiful and walk-able. Breakfast was superb & tasty - an unexpectedly large selection for Comfort chain hotel, and in the evenings there was an opportunity to eat a simple dinner and drink beer/wine right there in the hotel bar/restaurant. Although the room was really small, it was comfortable and cozy, you can't hear neighbors or street noise. Maybe only at night it was a little too hot, but + is that you could open the window. The evening/night receptionist was very nice and helpful! :) & of course price - for all the benefits - 100% satisfied Thank you for the welcome - and if we manage to return to the Liseberg carousels in the summer - then definitely you will host us again!

The hotel is well located, close to the central station and bus station, which was handy for me. Also the location is close to the city centre, so you can just go walking to see the main sights. Breakfast was booked in time slots - that I didn't like much, I had to wake up a bit early to have it, but in the end, it wasn't a problem for me - the food offered really compensated that! My room was clean and comfortable, wi-fi worked in all areas.

Not an issue, but I didn't like the time-slot breakfast but being a weekend and hotel was full, that was understandable and the staff was super friendly and they made all efforts to accommodate a time for me.

Our family of 6 (2 + 4 grown up young people) had the BEST time here. We loved how laid back this place is and how comfortable. The staff were so helpful and friendly (shout out to Lars and the lovely man on the desk through the day). The situation was very central - right opposite a bakery and 5 minute walk from bus/train station. The rooms were small but very cosy and well-appointed and the breakfasts were sensational 👏 (I even tried chia, milk and fruit this morning!) We've had a brilliant time and we're really grateful, THANK YOU ALL X

Good location and comfy bed. Very close to the station and shops. Place has a good vibe and staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and lobby / bar area had a nice atmosphere.

The rooms are very small. The bathroom is very small, including the sink and location of the toilet which is cramped to say the least. You won’t want to spend any time in there, but at least the lobby has areas for working should you wish. I only stayed 2 nights. Not sure I’d want to stay longer.

The location was excellent, very close to the train station and to the city center. The area was quiet, with shops around. You could also use a shared refrigerator and kitchen, if you chose to do so. Very clean and nice staff.

The room was quite little. We were a family of 4, it was good to sleep in our beds, but it was quite complicated with the luggage in such a small room. It was ok because we stayed for a couple of nights, but for longer intervals it would have become a problem.

- the name of the hotel, I went to the other one "confort hotel" instead of "confort hotel city" The person there told me it happens often. - no international channels on TV - having to choose a slot for the breakfast, the principle of holidays is to not have a schedule for anything so this breakfast slot is annoying. - strong urine smell in the bathroom - I was alone but for a couple, the room would be too small

Location was excellent, hotel generally clean throughout.

I note the room is described as compact but it’s the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in! Rate was really expensive but I stayed during the Gothia Cup so obviously paid a premium. Breakfast was really congested, not much space to move around. Shower design could be improved to prevent the water escaping from the cubicle.

The location was amazing, right in the middle of the city with so many things to do around the area! Breakfast was satisfactory, I don't think I'd have any complaints for the breakfast services. The staff were super kind and welcoming which was a really great start to our stay.

The only thing I wish was different was our room. It was meant for 2 people, but it was quite difficult having to move around, especially with our luggages as well. I wish the room was a bit more spacious. I think this room could've worked better for just one guest.

Breakfast was fantastic, very good selection and time/window to eat. Modern design. Day reception staff were really good and helpful. Location is very convenient. Kitchen/fridge (all guests shared) is very useful.

Night staff made us feel uncomfortable/ unwelcome in the reception area. We were told the kitchen was closed and the lobby was closed at 10:30pm so we couldn’t hang out or use the bar. Unwinding in the bar of a hotel at the end of a day before heading up to bed is something I expect from any hotel. We booked a double room and we’re given a room with two single beds. Didn’t complain though as we knew we wouldn’t spend much time in the room on our trip.
