For starters when we arrived we were greated with complimentary champagne in the lobby. As we checked in we had been upgraded from a normal room to a Junior Suite. I understand this isnt common nor is it something you should expect but it made for an incredible experience for my girlfriend and I. For the first time going skiing together and her first time skiing all together. Our room was beautiful large and spacious. It was also modern which is something you cannot expect within ski resorts and was a huge bonus. When going down to breakfast the little touches matter. The Tirolerhof are fantastic at this. For starters our waiter learns our names and our standard orders and starts to bring them over and ask questions going beyond good morning, which was a lovely small touch to add. The station chef learns your order and during quiet periods in service he will bring your food to you without you having to ask which is just that little bit extra that makes something memorable. The Spa is brilliant, after a hard day either learning to ski or skiing. It is a great place to unwind and destress before going out for dinner or catching back up with the Apres. The Spa is predominantly nude so if this is something that bothers you can where shorts or bottoms, but it is prefered to be nude.

Nothing. To be honest it was absolutelty spot on. I wouldnt be able to fault the place, the people or the holiday.

The hotel is in an amazing location, really near the lake and all good restaurants in the town and the city express for skiing. The hotel is super clean and very beautifully laid out and decorated with wonderful attention to detail. The spa, sauna and pool are really lovely and a real treat after a long day skiing. The bar area is great as well, we loved having an evening drink here, especially infront of the cosy fireplace. Our room was beautiful,on the top floor and an incredible view of the lake and mountains, we felt super lucky with our room and it made for a truly enjoyable stay. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco which was a wonderful touch. It’s a picture perfect hotel for a magical winter escape and we loved staying here!

Sauna and pool etiquette is not adhered to by all guests and the small space can become crowded and unclean by the end of the day. More staff frequenting the area would be really helpful to address this. Some of the staff were truly amazing and others came across as a little incompetent and rude, so it was 50/50. The food in the restaurant is subpar except for the buffet which was great but I am glad we didn’t get the half board option, other hotels in the area offer much better food. I think an improvement in the food would make a massive difference to an overall great hotel.

The staff were wonderful right from walking through the door on arrival. We were Bed and Breakfast and ate out most nights there were plenty of restaurants. We did eat in the hotel one evening and the dinner was superb. Breakfast was excellent and offered everything you could possibly think of including eggs cooked to order. The swimming pool was lovely and generally everything seemed to have been carefully thought of throughout the hotel. Everywhere was immaculately clean and we had a very large room with all the usual requirements provided.

Very cosy and incredibly comfortable hotel from the entrance to the room. After a long journey feeling tired it was just the welcome needed. Bed was good with fluffy soft pillows you sink into, and were spacious enough. Bathrobes and extra towels supplied for the spa downstairs and a bonus backpack should you need one for your hikes and outside ventures. Rooms were very well cleaned and restocked at an appropriate time. For meat eaters, breakfast is great.

As a vegetarian, this place isn't really accommodating unless you're a big fan of cheese. I have a mild dairy intolerance so struggled to pick breakfast which wasn't just toasted bread and fruit. As a vegan you're even more limited.

Lovely room, spa facilities (4 sauna / steam rooms, relaxation rooms on top of a swimming pool and a jacuzzi), staff very helpful and kind, hotel design is beautiful, breakfast was adequate, located very close to the station and lake.

No major problems, just things to be aware of: - felt like an oven under those thick duvets, and no air con meant I struggled to sleep well, but it got better after I used the duvet cover with a blanket only, - breakfast was nice, but I didn't see any dairy alternatives; thankfully my intolerance is very mild so wasn't a huge problem for me personally, - the mountain view stated in my booking was a very obstructed side view of a mountain; 95% of our view was the street and nearby buildings / trees.

From the moment we entered the Hotel we knew we had made the right choice. Welcome from Karl with a glass of Prosecco was lovely and he was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay.. Amazing selection for breakfast. Everywhere was spotless . Swimming pool was lovely and used every evening. We had evening meal on garden terrace on last night -exceptional!! Would strongly recommend a guided walk with Wolfgang. His knowledge of the area made the walk much more meaningful. Extremely enjoyable. Very central location. Best Hotel experience in a long time!! SUPERB.

Could not say anything negative. The only thing we did not like was "having to leave"!!

Fantastic family run hotel, large room with excellent facilities comfy bed and soft pillows. Staff are excellent food is expensive but is very good quality. Spa facilities are fantastic and well worth using. The owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is exceptional with fresh cooked food and a range of quality food. I have to say that this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in for the money. The hotels location is also great, close to the lake and short walk into town.

Car parking is a bit steep, but there are plenty of free spaces available as well. Overall a quality place to sray

Exceptionally warm welcome, very comfortable room, beds and public areas. Staff were great, professional and friendly, couldn't be better. Location is perfect, despite being very close to town and lake it was quiet at night and just away from the hustle and bustle. Dinner in the Winter Garden was a luxurious treat.

Breakfast service was tricky as we competed with other guests on half- board who had tables allocated to them. There was no host to explain this so we didn't realise. Breakfast food was fresh and a wide variety of continental items with an egg/ bacon station if you want hot.

The hotel provided a great setting for our vacation. The management takes care of the details in all services. The interior design solutions are cozy. In addition to the balcony, a nice terrace is available to sit out. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide selection, I highlight cold meats and cheeses from local producers. We dined a la carte, we can say the best about the quality of the food, the presentation and the polite, friendly service. We were also satisfied with the sophisticated spa facilities. We appreciated the fact that the best hiking routes are accessible by bus and train, even though we arrived at the hotel by car, we didn't have to leave the garage. (We saw traffic jams in the morning and evening on the roads leading out of the city.)

Dog friendly. Extremely helpful and friendly staff (especially the young man at the reception for most of our stay). Welcome drink. Extremely good taste and decor throughout the hotel (even the music was perfect, full of classics and at a low volume, as it should be). Breakfast was delicious (just wish the homemade cakes and cookies were less sweet).

Even though the temperatures never got above 23 degrees during our stay, our room was like a sauna the whole time. Opening the window wasn't pleasant as we were given a room facing an extremely loud creak, which meant an annoying, loud noise which stops you from properly hearing anyone sharing the room with you. We had dinner once and it was very underwhelming, especially considering the prices. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were a bit cold, or at least colder than we're used to.
