We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Quero; everything was really lovely. The Old City location was great, the breakfasts were delicious (tasty arepas!), the staff was extremely kind and responsive, the room itself was beautiful and comfortable, and the rooftop pool was a refreshing respite in the afternoons. We also really appreciated that, upon request, they brought a rocking chair into our room so that we could have two comfortable chairs to sit in together in the evenings.

We had a bit of difficulty with the hot water in our shower; it was warm but never quite got hot. Of course Cartagena is so hot and humid that you don't really need the shower to be steaming hot, but it's just something to note.

The hotel has probably 10 very spacious rooms, a large bathroom Located in Old city, but the block is non-commercial. 4 min walk to blocks w restaurants, shops, bars; 15 min slow walk to Clock tower. So it's quiet. Very good internal yard with hammocks and a small rooftop pool are good after a day on the beach or touring the city on a hot day. Friendly staff, decent breakfast made to your order (don't expect a breakfast feast as in large resort-hotels)

It had only 2 people speaking English, so had to use Google Translate. Also we arrived late, the young man on duty could not help with advising on getting food. Apparently there is a cafe 24x7 at the end of block.

The property is perfectly located in the walled city to access everything easily by foot. The staff were fantastic, always friendly, and willing to help us when needed. Breakfast was convenient to have at the hotel and tasty. The rooms were exceptionally quiet at night, which is hard to come by in such a central location in Cartagena.

The hot water in the shower was minimal, but we didn’t mind at all in the end because it was so hot in the city that a cool shower felt really nice at the end of the day.

Casa Quero is a very quaint and refined hotel, located perfectly if you love exploring the city on foot and indulging in the vibrant city that Cartagena is. Room was excellent, beautifully presented and decorated, very spacious with everything you need to feel at home away from home. Staff were friendly and polite, very warm and always ready to help with a smile. The roof top terrace and pool was perfect for a dip before exploring the city. Highly recommended, a remarkably beautiful colonial house that gives a warm welcome to travellers.

The property was a beautiful traditional style house with a lovely central courtyard. The whole place was exquisitely decorated giving it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was enormous, the bed comfortable with plenty of space to put things, wardrobes and a fridge and safe. Breakfast was very good, served next to the courtyard. Staff were so pleasant and understanding despite our lack of Spanish. A delightful place and certainly the best hotel of our trip. We would have stayed again for our return to Cartagena but there was no availability.

Historic vintage feel of the property was charming. Was beautifully updated. Fluffy soft towels and bathrobes. Refrigerator in the room with mini bar beverages. Our room was clean and bright. Small pool and deck on the roof was sufficient for our needs. Breakfast was fresh fruit and juice with local sweet breads. There was a choice of eggs and local specialty items as well. The staff was wonderful. Easy walking to all the old town sites.

Casa Quero was simply stunning and staying here was an absolute pleasure from start to finish! The service from all the staff was fantastic, and Antonio who assisted us several times, was so professional, kind and helpful, he really was a pleasure to communicate with and he made our stay one of the best hotel experiences that we have ever had! The hotel itself is incredible, a piece of history, with impressive stone arches, a lush green courtyard, and a beautiful roof terrace with a pool and views over the rooftops of the old town. Our room was fabulous, incredibly spacious with wonderful high ceilings and beautifully furnished, with huge French windows leading onto terrace overlooking the streets of the Historic Town. Despite its very central location in the Historic core, the room itself was very quiet and the air-conditioning was extremely good. Overall the hotel was a haven of tranquility in the middle of this bustling & vibrant neighborhood, and staying here was a premium experience and one that we will not forget!

Beautifully kept and renovated traditional Cartagena house. The room was clean and charming, with windows opening to a quiet courtyard. Air conditioning worked very well and the small pool in the rooftop was a nice way to end the day of walking —the weather was very hot outside. Staff was cordial and always eager to please—loved recommendations and tastings of local fruits and fruits during an always hearty breakfast. Location was also a short walk from most of the main attractions.

Beautiful hotel in a central location. It is very quiet, which is unusual for central Cartagena. There are lots of comfy seating areas and the decor is very tasteful.The pool on the roof was a bonus., as were the bath robes. Breakfast was good and the lady who served it very kind. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom and the bed was comfortable

Casa Quero is a beautiful colonial hotel. The room we stayed at was very spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious. The room had plenty of ventilation, something that is very important to us. The A/C kept the space nice and cool. We loved the rooftop pool. Every morning we would go to the pool for a while and then enjoy the hotel provided, made to order, breakfast. On our last day, the staff made us "arepa de huevo", a local staple, for breakfast.
