Great Location: Quiet and conveniently located within walking distance to the center of town and the waterfront. While the harbor is nearby, reaching it involves a short downhill walk with limited sidewalk space, which might be challenging for some guests. Clean and Well-Maintained: The unit was spotless and well cared for, with tasteful decor and a modern, minimal design. Comfortable and Functional: The space was well laid out, with a comfortable bed, a good shower, and a small but well-equipped kitchenette—ideal for a short stay. The kitchen utensils were top quality, including excellent KitchenAid appliances, which made a great difference for preparing simple meals.

Lack of Towel Rack by the Sink: There was no towel hook or rail near the bathroom sink for the face towel, which made it slightly inconvenient. Morning Light in the Room: The room lacked effective blackout curtains or blinds, so quite a bit of natural light came in early in the morning—something to consider for light sleepers.

Garden villa 3 was perfect with everything you need for a short or extended stay. Comfortable bed and lounge with large bathroom including washing machine and dryer. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and full size fridge. Included breakfast supplies. Home away from home. Annie kept us informed and ensured room was ready at requested check in time. Without doubt, one of the loveliest accommodations in our Australian sojourn. Annie met us promptly to help us check-in. The place was of quality material and spotless, with nice touches (milk, cereal, and wine mini-bar). The kitchen is well equipped, and the furniture very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower, and a washer/dryer for travelers. The Aloft is only ~8min walk to the harbor cruises and dining options, and 5 min from the IGA. If you stop in Strahan and want a self-catering stay (or even just a little more space than a hotel room), stay here. Annie, thanks for a wonderful stay. Mark and Jean

I truly rate the experience as five star plus and only wish that we had more time to stay longer or perhaps that Aloft Boutique Accommodation was available in every city that we travelled. I was surprised how large and roomy it was, great design with both comfort and practicality evident in the layout. The amenities were exceptional with facilities including a washing machine and dryer... outstanding! Annie met us at the car, provide a quick tour of the accommodation and then permitted us our privacy without further ado. An excellent host and the accommodation exceeded our expectations.

Two items only: 1. I wish that I had not sustained a leg injury earlier that morning at Cradle Mountain. 2. I wish we had more time to stay another one, two, three or more nights.

It is not very often that a stay meets all expectations. The owner has made sure everything is just right for guests staying at her accommodation. We received a lovely welcome giving full information about the large studio as well as the local area. The room was very clean, comfortable, well equipped, everything worked, quiet and the little extras made it just perfect. Parking outside the door made it easier for unloading luggage. The walk into Strahan is less than ten minutes. There is a good supermarket nearby as well as a garage for petrol.

Possibly the best studio apartment of the many we’ve stayed in. Hosts Annie & Peter have put a lot of thought and care into creating a very comfortable studio - light, spacious and really well equipped, with high-end appliances and quality fittings. The bed was excellent, as was the rain shower and we appreciated the extra touches like bottles of water in the fridge and the welcome chocolates. And only a short walk to the shops, waterfront etc.

This property was fabulous! And Annie was the perfect host. She met us with keys, walked us up to the unit and was very welcoming and informative. The unit has a really nicely appointed kitchen and we could have stayed for DAYS!!! Our unit had a nice size patio, but it was raining and chilly most of our stay. Spacious and well appointed, this was definitely a great choice of accommodations in Strahan!!! Close enough to walk to the waterfront area, but uphill on the way back!!

It was nice and comfy. the location was good, very close to IGA and city center. it's also very easy to get around to other places outside Strahan. Annie was caring and attentive. She checked with me a couple days before we arrived to ensure things were alright. Unfortunately for some reasons I didn't get to say hi and bye to her in person. I left messages to thank her right after we checked out but never heard from her again. so I guess, and I hope, our check-out was okay and didn't bring her much trouble.

I was very shocked to find that the electric kettle looked "rusty" at the bottom inside when I arrived. I couldn't believe it myself because everything was neat and tidy. Then I checked it more closely and realized that it had been burned (it looked like somebody used it to boil milk and burn it) and the brown layer was actually soft but not really rust. so I carefully rubbed it off and cleaned the whole kettle myself. it was a mistake that I didn't take photos of it and told Annie about it. it was late already (after office hours) and we were already very tired after a long day of driving. All I wanted was a cup of tea to relax... anyway, the kettle was all clean and safe for use after I washed it.

Quiet, clean and comfortable, very roomy, open plan, well equipped, bed is large and comfortable, power points at bedhead including USB outlets in bedside table! kitchen had a dishwasher, big fridge, good cooktop, large living room, good smart tv, AC effective, dining table, has top loading washing machine, clothes dryer, shower mixer with two shower heads, good water volume and pressure, limited sink counter space, but small glass wall counter & washing machine top provided extra space, suitcase bench and extra bedside bench including shoe rack provide lots of area for your suitcases. Everything very well thought out and well provided for. Outside veranda overlooking the yard. All in all a great place for travellers.

I'm trying hard to find a fault...maybe a front loader washing/dryer machine? So really nothing we didn't like.
