I liked the room decor and the facilities such as coffee making and microwave.

Although I have booked sea view rooms as shown in description of Booking.com, none of them fulfilled that requirement. The reason being that the hotel meant that the rooms are on the side where the sea is but not necessarily having a sea view. I think this is misleading, especially because I paid extra to get them. Moreover, during breakfast there was no coffee or hot drinks around. When I ordered them, I was asked to pay extra in cash on the first 3 days (1 dollar for each coffee or water bottle). On the last day, another person in charge of breakfast area did not ask for case and he informed me that coffee was included with breakfast free!!! I guess I was tricked. There is no public transport in the area and you can't walk much as it is a bit secluded, hilly and unsafe for pedestrians.

I want to thank Mr Marwan the manager of the hotel and Mr Antoine the head of waiters for their professionalism , dedication and the best customer services they showed u. And not to forget Eddie the barman at the pool he is fantastic . The hotel itself is cosy , beautiful , excellent location and has all what you need . One area I would like to highlight is the breakfast selection of food , I understand it’s Lebanese theme however some more choices for example :selection of bread will make a difference.

The location is perfect, right outside the city but still close enough to get to downtown in 20 min-ish. An amazing mountain location. Fantastic pool setting great view especially in the evening.

Front desk and office staffare the most helpful ever. Given the current economic situation in Lebanon rates and Payment are incredibly complicated: three types of dollar : an official rate, a banks-supported rate funnily called "Lollar" and the street rate that is almost 20 times the first. If you get it wrong you'd be broke! - The front desk patiently helped to sort payment out and clarify options. Great view of Beirut for rooms with a view. Room service were extremely helpful and accommodating, very appreciated when, for example, you need warm milk for the little one's bottle NOW!!

Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. An extra bed was requested, yet not ready on arrival. It took two calls to reception for a bed to appear. Next day, the same bed did not have bedsheets. Again, it took over an hour and two calls for someone to bring bedsheets (plus also brought very stained cover and pillow that we did not even need). Almost same story to get extra towels (which are old and not the most inviting to use).

It’s a serene and beautiful environment. The staff were friendly and helpful. Farisse was so kind to us when we arrived in the early hours of the morning. He went the extra mile to get our phones charged up as we had the UK adaptor type which didn’t fit in. I recommend this hotel as it’s a good one.

They could do with more varieties on the menu.

It’s far from every where but u can drive or use taxi No any shops around it

comfortable, clean, the room is spacious and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. we had a small fridge, microwave and kettle, the basics that you might need. you can ask for additional stuff if needed. it has a decent gym for people who workout. the view is very nice when you get a room facing the greenery.

would have preferred newer towels and curtains that are completely blackout. other than this everything was good.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ray Hotel, the staff are amazing and very helpful. A special thanks to Marwan who assisted me through out my booking. The hotel is really nice and the rooms are comfortable. 15 minutes away from Beirut. I will definitely be back.

Staff are excelent, very friendly, go out of their way to help you. I am already booking another holiday in this hotel. Food is excellent, large variety, western and arab food. Pool is fantastic, views overlooking Beirut are great.

Its a lttle way out from Beirut but if you want peace and quiet thats where you need to be.

This is literally one of the best hotels I’ve visited in Lebanon, BIG thanks to Rita from guest relations, she’s extremely helpful, polite, friendly and helpful, she just made our trip joyful and peasant by doing every possible effort to make us happy. I also liked the amazing swimming pool of the hotel which has very nice vibes and and a wonderful view over the mountains and trees. The rooms are well fitted out with plenty of storage, and the gym is just massive and perfect.
