The property is beautiful with amazing view of the Rockies. It's peaceful and quiet. The property itself is quite beautifully made and maintained.

The rooms are terribly small and while I like rooms to be bare minimum, it was a little too bare. For two people it was a struggle to keep the things out. More racks are needed for guests. The bathroom doesn't get any air due to which towels and anything else that is washed continues to remain wet. I don't like changing towels because that is unnecessary but at least it should be able to dry a bit. Also, I love that they practice sustainability but putting plastic glasses in the room and disposable make up remover doesn't serve that purpose.

My partner and I loved everything about the place. We are planning to return and will tell everyone we know about this place. We had some challenges when checking in and the receptionist was very patient with us. We requested items that were not in the room and they were provided. The grounds are beautiful, they are overlooking the rocky mountains. There are chairs around the property that invites you to sit and relax. Loads of photo opportunities. The lodge itself is picturesque. The breakfast makes you feel at home and that your every need is taken cared of.

Great resort/retreat log cabin with several rooms. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. The quiche was excellent and I am one that is not all that fussy on Quiche. Really enjoyed the staff and visiting with the other guests. We chatted with Ryan. I believe he is an owner. Great guy and knowledgeable on the area. The young lady that checked us in was lovely and explained all about the property. They have coffee and tea available from 4PM

We are older and it would have been nice to have a radio or TV in the room ( a screen a little bigger than my phone.)

There were lots of special touches the owners put into the property to make it comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfasts were amazing and a lot of effort was put into preparing them. Our room was big and tastefully decorated. The owners are fantastic hosts. We plan to return to stay at this property.

Everything! The rooms are so beautiful and you see the love to details everywhere. The Chillout area was so cozy - big couches, tea and coffee and a fireplace - it doesn't get better than this!

The breakfast time was a bit cut short so we always felt a little stressed (but it's just a personal preference that we like to have a 2nd or 3rd cup or coffee without a hustle :))

Perfect cabin feels that's just along the road, close to restaurants and mini downtown, staff are helpful and Ryan makes excellent frittatas. Breakfast contains fruits, bagel, whole grain bread, jam, cream cheese, muffin, choice of veggie and meat frittata, granola, muesli, and beverage. The guest area is lovely. You can lounge there at night and meet other guests. The suite itself is not grand. It has basic items, but interior is new and clean. We had the room facing the mountains, away from the road, which made our sleep well and deep. No eating in the suite, no fridge, and tv which we don't mind. There's TV and Frige in the guest area. Ths Hot tub with the mountain scenery adds uniqueness to the place too. Quiet time at 10 PM. Overall, the place is excellent for quiet people or for those who came to Golden for a peaceful RnR.

We had a great stay, all the staff were very welcoming, knowledgable about the area and hikes, and happy to chat with guests. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of options & fuelled us up for the day, very tasty! The decor is very tasteful and the hot tub is a bonus with a nice view. It was great to rent a kayak and take it to Emerald Lake, it saved us a lot of money compared to hiring one at the lake. The town of Golden is very close by and had good options for drinks (Whitetooth brewery) and food (great tacos at Reposados!)

Good location. Quiet. We had to leave early one morning so they gave us a simple bagged breakfast. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional !

No suitcase racks in room - need to ask for them. No in room coffee. Room was a little small but there is a larger den at the end of the hall.

Nice breakfast and coffee provided every morning. The room is clean and cozy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

You can hear the conversations from the next room. My stay was 2 overnights and still can hear the noises from other guests at 11pm while 10pm is quiet time set by host.
