It's a basic room nothing extravagant, everything was new and clean, had a nice small balcony with a view of the train station in the distance and a roof across the street where there was a cat running around and chasing bugs. Location is superb can get everywhere central by walking or a short tram ride, and the train station is right nearby for arrival and departure, very useful to be able to leave luggage after check out to enjoy the city some more and then pick it up on the way to the train station.

They clean the room daily throughly, change the towels and do everything right. The beds are really comfortable and the soundproofing of the rooms are quite good, you might hear the neighbours on the hallway if they make a lot of noise, but at night it is perfect for resting. The room is small but is simply more than enough if you re in nice for visiting and also you have a desk. The tv has cable but no internet, but thats not a big problem. The location is amazing, very close to the main boulevard, very close to the train station (like 2 minutes away) but there is absolutely no noise. A lot of shops restaurants and caffes nearby. Recommend!

The best option if you are looking for a clean comfortable room near the center. The Central station was a road above, very convienent for me, who I was travelling to other near by cities most of my stay. I recommend going to Cannes, Adibes and Monaco, they are all about 20-30 mins in the train, very beautiful and scenic places by the French Riviera. The shower was very good, they were changing our towels every day which was a good service but a bit excessive. I believe its not the most eco friendly solution, we can use the same towel a couple times.

everything i needed was provided. The room and the whole building was clean and tidy. I had lost my cell phone on the train on arrival in Nice. Railways lost property was worse than un-helpful but the front of counter staff at the Hotel were more than helpful in trying all sorts of email numbers i was trying to remember to access family. In the end my son walked in and all was sorted!!! Would I stay again if i ever get to Nice from New Zealand : ABSOLUTELY!!! - pretty small bed and duvet - very thin walls in the toilet, if you don’t close the door, you can hear everyone flushing - streets not the most comfortable in the evening, didn’t feel in danger, but you should take extra care

Great location if you are coming or going by train, just a few minutes walk from Nice Ville Station. We appreciated the fact that the property had a lift, which isn't always guaranteed in smaller hotels. The room was modern and clean. It was surprisingly quiet at night, despite being in a lively and busy area. The continental breakfast on offer was very competitively priced (about 8 Euros by memory) and whilst it was simple, I was very impressed with the fresh croissants!

The guy at the check in, who also was the breakfast attendant, wasn't the friendliest. He seemed a bit "over" his job.

A great stay at Hotel Trocadero! I stayed at the hotel from the 24th to the 28th, and my experience was excellent. The location is perfect—close to the train station and with easy access to the city center and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, making my stay very enjoyable. One of the things I appreciated the most was the housekeeping service. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided regularly, which made the experience even better. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a great location in Nice, Hotel Trocadero is a perfect choice. The location is amazing - next to the main train station so it's super easy to travel to Monaco, Cannes, Menton, Antibes. The tram to the airport is located about 10' walking and the city beach about 20' away. The district is surprisingly quiet by night and safe. You can order the delicious breakfast for 8€/pax. The building is open 24/7 do you can access with hotel card anytime. Truly recommended. The price was more than reasonable taking into account all facilities.

The private bathroom was tiny and we need to squeeze. Certain parts of the hotel require refurbishment.

Our room was on the last floor (nobody above us!) and at the end of the corridor. Thus very quiet, which I appreciated. The bathroom was standard for a small room and functional. The location was great, a few metres from a main avenue, with plenty of places to eat and drink. Walking distance from several attractions and 20 minutes walk from the promenade des anglais.

The bed was a bit too small and short for my husband. The room was small, but ok for one night. We were under the roof, so we only had a roof window.
